We advise that adopters do not send payment or deposits for pets prior to adopting. ***** Rufio is an old english bulldog, is 3yo, weighs 91lbs, is neutered, is up to date on his vaccines, and is microchipped. Rufio is alone about 6 hours each day and is kept in his crate. At night, he sleeps in his bed in the bedroom. He needs to be restrained in the car or else he will climb all around. He currently eats Royal Canin Ultamino. Rufio's guardian explains why she has made the difficult decision to rehome him: "He is very sweet but he was not well trained or socialized. He is too large and strong for me to keep under control and he has been injuring me when he plays or gets too excited. He needs an owner who is better able to handle him and a larger house." Rufio's guardian offers a brief a medical history: "He has significant allergies that he is currently seeing a dermatologist for. He is on an elimination diet and medication." Rufio's guardian states the following regarding children: Rufio hasn't lived with children, but his guardian recommends his living with children ages 12 and older, stating "Rufio is very large and strong and jumps on people. Miso soup has been in our home for1.5 years. She came to us from an owner who was elderly and had an untreated broken leg, partial blindness and neurological condition ( circles). We got her spayed and vaccinated and hoped for improvement with circling and demeanor. Unfortunately we also have a unicorn dog who is extremely jealous . Basically Soup is perfect as a couch buddy she likes pets once she is comfortable, she doesn’t like the trips to the vet or hard food . Itzy Bitzy — Foster Dog extraordinaire!! Itzy Bitzy is a very sweet, loving Bull Terrier who absolutely adores her humans. She is generally a very quiet, well-mannered girl, although recently she has found her bark and has started using it a bit more than before. She is not reliably house or kennel trained, as she does not signal when she needs to go outside. While she does know how to use a doggy door, she will still have accidents in the home. It also appears she may have been previously trained to use puppy pads, as she often seeks out soft surfaces such as towels, blankets, and dog beds to urinate on. Because of this, she will need continued guidance and supervision in a home environment. Itzy is very food motivated and has mastered the art of sitting politely for snacks. In fact, if you have food in your hand, she may decide to sit before you even ask! She loves attention and is playful when you engage with her, but she isn’t overly energetic or demanding. She does best as the only dog in the home. Itzy is dog-selective and can become extremely reactive around other dogs, so a home without other pets would be the safest and happiest environment for her. Aside from her occasional new interest in barking, she is still generally a quiet girl in the home. Itzy does have some eye conditions that will likely require lifelong medication, but she doesn’t let that stop her from being her sweet, playful self. She would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a loving, affectionate dog who enjoys being close to her people and appreciates a good snack! Have you ever heard on the TV, well a hoarder's house has been raided and ... animals have been seized and sent to the pound or rescue organizations in the area.... WELL, we are FROM just that kind of situation :( The good thing is we were SAVED... the bad thing is that we had to ENDURE the neglect and disgusting home. The BEST thing is we were ALL SAVED by a rescue group who REFUSED to leave even ONE behind...... 30 dogs/pups ALL AT ONCE has been taxing and motivating for the rescuers. If you watch our video, the situation was very very challenging but our rescuers worked their butts off to save us. We are almost all ready for adoption, all the pups are social and ready for their furever homes! The young adults and adults are a little more shy but have been working really hard with our rescuers to be ready for YOU!! We are a unique "breed" mix, lol. Aunts/Uncles/Parents/SIblings... all "living" together. We have Shar Pei, Scruffy dogs, Pit Bull, and maybe Spaniel mixed in there :D We are all pretty much medium sized, 20-50# and cute as HECK!!
