Owners have enlisted Rescue Well to provide marketing and screening of applicants as a service, free of charge. All fees and adoption conditions are determined by the owner. We advise that adopters do not send payment or deposits for pets prior to adopting.  ***** Rufio is an old english bulldog, is 3yo, weighs 91lbs, is neutered, is up to date on his vaccines, and is microchipped.  Rufio is alone about 6 hours each day and is kept in his crate.  At night, he sleeps in his bed in the bedroom.  He needs to be restrained in the car or else he will climb all around.  He currently eats Royal Canin Ultamino. Rufio's guardian explains why she has made the difficult decision to rehome him: "He is very sweet but he was not well trained or socialized. He is too large and strong for me to keep under control and he has been injuring me when he plays or gets too excited. He needs an owner who is better able to handle him and a larger house." Rufio's guardian offers a brief a medical history: "He has significant allergies that he is currently seeing a dermatologist for.  He is on an elimination diet and medication." Rufio's guardian states the following regarding children:  Rufio hasn't lived with children, but his guardian recommends his living with children ages 12 and older, stating "Rufio is very large and strong and jumps on people.  He should not live with children under 12". Rufio's guardian states the following regarding dogs:  Rufio hasn't lived with dogs, so his guardian doesn't recommend his living with dogs, stating "Rufio is not socialized around other dogs.  He is not aggressive but he comes on way too strong and escalates play quickly which scares other dogs". Rufio's guardian states the following regarding cats:  Rufio lives with a cat, so his guardian recommends his living with cats, stating "He mostly ignores my cat and doesn't chase her". Rufio's guardian describes him as: Quiet Playful Friendly Likes to be touched Affectionate Always at your side Indoor Only Pet House-Trained Crate-Trained Likes women and men (takes a bit to warm up to men since he's priimarily exposed to women) Rufio's guardian describes his ideal future home: "Rufio needs a larger house preferably with a fenced yard to exercise in.  Ideally, his new owners would be strong enough to handle him physically." Story
Bluebell is a sweet 6 year old female English Mini Bulldog. She’s great around kids and other adults. She is also good with other dogs once she warms up to them. She tends to not like cats so much. We hate to give her up but my wife has had major surgery and can no longer walk her. I work a lot of hours and cannot spend the time with her that she deserves. We have her shot records and her AKC application but we never saw the need to fill it out and send it in. Bluebell has no health issues that we are aware of.

These pups are in Baltimore, Maryland too!

Story
When I was found wandering in a neighborhood, I had a stinky situation ;( Apparently whoever had me, didn't know what to do for my "stinky situation" and let me go :( So, I had a prolapsed rectum likely due to either genetics or a food allergy, and lots of diarrhea.. however, the rescuers sent me STRAIGHT to the vet and my corrective surgery was performed!! Now it had taken me about 6 weeks to be more normal in the poop department but my new fosters has kept me on the hydrolyzed protein food and not too much to eat all the time... as a frenchie i will eat WHATEVER you give me and MORE, so to keep my girlish figure and to prevent excess poop... and I am in the "all better" department now!! I had a "colonplasty" which is a corrective surgery and should be ALL I need. Now to the FUN part!! I am all frenchie :) Cute, smart, playful, loving and kind of goofy too. I am great with everyone i meet and I LOVE to meet new people and friends. I want a really nice family who will take great care of me, with a friend or two? I am waiting and you are looking, lets meet and be together furever!! Local adoption fee is $500 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $750, includes transport to your area)

Story
Marlee is a fun name for a fun gal! I was living my life and having some fun, except no one got me "fixed" so the fun ended up with me being a single mother with 6 hungry mouths to feed!!! Who thinks that their fun will lead to months of feeding and my milk producers dragging on the ground :( I sure didn't... However, I LOVE MY BABIES!!! Now that they are on their own in foster homes, that is :) I am a fun gal, I love to play with my friends and I am great with other playful and fun dogs. I am a climber and a jumper so it may be why I was out playing in the first place.... but I digress... I am happy and sweet and I have the gorgeous soft, PLENTIFUL muzzle of a Shar Pei, with the energy of a lab or shepherd or who knows what other breed I am. I want a real family who will love me for all that I am, and I am A LOT!! Look me up and let's run off into the sunset :) ADOPT... DON'T SHOP!!! MY LIFE AND MY PUPPIES' LIVES' DEPEND ON IT!!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area, $50 temporary fuel fee will be included)

Story
Who's better than the rest-y? That's right, it's me, Betsy! I am a cool Chinese Shar-Pei mixed female with a Tuxedo colored coat and white socks! My facial features even have a cool black and white coloring to them too! I was rescued from a bad hoarding situation alongside my siblings, thing's weren't looking good for us. But our big-hearted rescuers saved us and got us on the road to better care and living great lives! Betsy likes to chew on big bones, occasionally wiggle her ears around, and bark at squirrels. Now we're on our way to finding our forever homes. Learning how to socialize with other dogs, take walks, and play fetch with a ball. Stay tuned for more updates on my journey! This is Betsy signing off! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX)
