If you are interested in adopting this dog, please fill out an Adoption Questionnaire athttps://petstablished.com/adoption_form/43315/generic.You can learn about the adoption process by visiting: http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/howtoadopt/.Dog's Name:   Diesel  (DIE1225OWSMD)Estimated Breed:   English Bulldog MIXApproximate Age:   4-5 yearsApproximate Weight:   50 lbsCurrently Living at:   BoardingAdoption Fee:   $400DOG'S DESCRIPTION:    Through no fault of his own, Diesel is being returned to rescue. His adopter’s work schedule now requires frequent travel, making it impossible to give Diesel the time, attention, and love he truly deserves. Here’s what his current owner shares about this wonderful boy:Diesel weighs just under 70 pounds and is an absolute sweetheart. He is great with people and has been incredibly gentle and respectful with the resident cat, showing no signs of aggression at all. He would likely do very well in a home with a cat. When it comes to other dogs, Diesel can be a bit hit or miss. He does well on walks and truly enjoys playing with other dogs at the dog park and in doggy daycare. However, he can be possessive around food and water with other dogs, so he would likely thrive best as the only dog in the home, or with careful management.Diesel hasn’t had extensive exposure to children, but he happily allows kids in his apartment complex to pet him and shows his sweet, silly personality around them. He has a good amount of energy and loves to play fetch, run around, and enjoy his toys—but when playtime is over, he’s all about the cuddles. Diesel is incredibly affectionate and would be perfectly content snuggling right in your lap whenever possible.Diesel is a loving, playful, and devoted companion who is ready for a forever home that can give him the stability and attention he deserves. Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.    Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.Foster Program:    Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.  For more information on becoming a foster parent, and our Foster Program, visit http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/foster/ or email our Foster Coordinator at foster@k-9lifesavers.orgSPONSOR ME! Help Save Lives!    Make a tax-deductible donation today and help save a life. Story
Beautiful Bailey is a purebred English Bulldog looking for her new home. She's very shy with new people and is a definite flight risk until she bonds with her new family.  She cannot be off-leash, and we are purchasing her a no-escape harness.  An adopter should also consider a GPS tracker.  Once she is bonded with her new family, flight may not be an issue, but she still may become frightened of new sights and sounds.  She is good with other dogs if they are not too playful with her. She is good with cats and is housebroken. Please note:  You must live within a 175-mile radius of our facility to be considered for adoption. To fill out an online application to adopt this pet, cut and paste this link:  https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/2627/generic You can also find a link to our online adoption application on our website at www.hartforanimals.org/adopt  or on our Petfinder homepage.  We process applications in the order they are received; therefore, it could take UP TO 2 weeks for us to respond to your application. Please do not send us an inquiry unless you have specific questions. All our dogs and puppies are spayed or neutered, vaccinated for rabies, Bordetella, and distemper/parvo, treated with flea/ tick medication, tested for heartworm and Lyme disease, and given a microchip before being adopted into their new homes. ##2557844##

It’s me… Crush! I might be a puppy, but I’ve already had quite the adventure. My siblings—Bubbles and Dory—and I found ourselves in a very full shelter in Alabama. It was a pretty scary place for little ones like us. But then… our heroes arrived! K-9 Lifesavers scooped us up and helped us land in wonderful foster homes. Now I’m dreaming of my forever family—maybe that’s you? I’m about as cute as a puppy can possibly be (or so I’m told!). I’m sweet, playful, friendly, and always excited to meet new people. I adore other dogs too! At my young age, I’m in the perfect stage for learning all the good stuff—training, manners, socialization, you name it. If you’re looking for a lovable chubby sidekick who will fill your days with wiggles, snuggles, and joy… I’m your guy! Apply today—I can’t wait to meet you!
