Dog's Name: KOBE (KOB0922RUSMD)Estimated Breed: Beagle/Bulldog mix Approximate Age: 3yrs Approximate Weight: approx. 35 lbs Currently Living at: Boarding Adoption Fee: $375DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Kobe is a wonderful and charismatic dog with a lot of positive qualities! He has a friendly nature,is energetic, and loves to be with humans. His mix of bulldog and beagle traits likely contribute to his unique personality. Kobe enjoys toys, belly rubs, laps, and hugs and would make a great companion for someone who is looking for an active and affectionate pet. Additionally, his potential as a running or hiking partner could be a fantastic fit for an individual or family with an active lifestyle. Kobe loves to play with other dogs, but is a little greedy when it comes to his food and toys. A home where he is the only pet would be best!
Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family. Adoption fees cover basic vetting, spay/neuter surgery (at partner vet if not fixed before adoption), rabies, distemper/parvo vaccinations, treatment for worms, heartworm testing, monthly heartworm prevention and monthly flea/tick prevention (while the animal is in our care), and transport costs from high-kill shelter. Please note that on average, K-9 Lifesavers spend significantly more on each dog than their adoption fee. Adoption fee for HW positive dog also covers heartworm treatment at our partner vets.
