She weighs in at 39 pounds—a perfect medium size for adventures, cuddles, and everything in between. She’s house-trained and crate-trained, and does wonderfully spending the workday (about 8½ hours) in her crate without any trouble. When you’re home, she’s eager to be part of the action and may bark to remind you she’s ready for attention or playtime. Miley is great with other dogs and loves kids, though she’s a bit of a bouncy bundle of energy—so she’d do best in a home without very young children or babies. She hasn’t met cats or other animals yet, but she’s shown no signs of aggression at all—just pure excitement and affection! This girl loves the outdoors, whether she’s running, playing, or just exploring the yard—though she’ll gladly skip rainy days in favor of a cozy nap inside. 💛 Miley is the perfect match for an active home that can give her time, training, and love. A great medium size Fully vetted including spay, a 4dx heartworm test was all negative, current on all vaccinations and preventatives Lilly was rescued from a high drop area in Wildersville, West TN. She is a very loving sweetheart. She gets along well with other dogs and all humsans she has met. House and crate trained, good on leash, listens and minds very well. Her foster mom adores her and says anybody would love Lilly. She loves to snuggle and be petted. LILLY is located in West Port, TN. (West TN). Duke is a big, goofy guy who just wants to be loved. He loves to run and play, but also loves getting hugs and belly rubs. He can't wait for a family of his own. Duke is generally a healthy boy, but like most bulldogs he does have allergies. Anti-allergy medicine and eye drops have controlled most of the symptoms, but he will need continuous care to control the allergies throughout his life. Due is otherwise strong and healthy. His adoption includes his neuter and cherry-eye surgery; his full series of DHLPPi (distemper), Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines; heartworm and tick-bourne disease testing; heartworm and flea and tick preventive; microchip; and 30 days of free pet insurance. Duke is a friendly boy and loves people! He can sometimes be a little bit too enthusiastic and doesn't always know his own size - when he's happy to see you, he will greet you like a 70lb wrecking ball! But he is also kind and gentle, and enjoys cuddling and being pet. He is wonderful for his eye medication and great about having his facial folds cleaned and feet handled. He has been good with other dogs, but introductions must be made and a case-by-case decision for any household with another dog. He has also been good with cats, but again, doesn't know his own size and can be too enthusiastic in his greetings, so only a very dog-savy cat would be appropriate. Because Duke can be so enthusiastic, he is not a good fit for a household with young children, but he would be fine with teens and older. Duke is housetrained and crate-trained, but is scared of walking on a leash, and often freezes in place and refuses to move. He is working on his leash skills, but he does require a home with a fenced-in yard, both as an outlet for his energy and until he perfects his leash skills. Orlando is a purebred Olde English Bulldog. He has the biggest, wrinkliest head, big body, and adorable stubby tail. Additionally, Orlando’s coat is the softest thing ever. He is like a very fluffy bulldog! What could get better than that? Orlando is affectionate with his selected people and loves treats and toys. He loves to play outside, and absolutely loves the water (especially on hot summer days). He loves to get sprayed with the hose, as he tries to bite the water, and enjoys standing in baby pools to cool off.Orlando enjoys going for walks. He has gotten better on a leash, but could still use some gentle training to help with puppy tendencies. He also knows basic commands like sit, and is a smart boy. Orlando needs to be an only pet. Meet Bubba Charlie, whose head is as big as his heart. To know anything about Bubba you just have to know how he was found. The kind soul that saved him from homelessness shared this: “This adorable creature arrived on my porch in a rainstorm and never wanted to leave. He was wonderful and easy going and friendly to neighbors and dogs, I could not say no. I wanted to keep him because he is so special but unfortunately my landlord will not allow me to. I didn't want to bring him to the animal shelter where he might be destroyed, so I am personally paying to board him. He truly needs a home and he is SUCH a good boy. He will be someone’s absolute BEST friend and will adore whoever saves him from this life.” Bubba is some form of a bulldog / bully breed. He is quite young, we estimate he is 1-2 years old. He is good with dogs, kids, cats and loves every human he meets. He is a large lovebug, weighing in at 74 lbs. He is housebroken, and crate trained. He will need a little help on the leash but overall is very well behaved. He will occasionally try to chase a squirrel or two while on leash but is overall unreactive on lead, he is just playful and curious about those small moving, fast critters. Bubba is WONDERFUL with little dogs - they can jump all over him and give him lots of attention and grief and he is non-reactive. The only time we have seen Bubba take issue with other dogs is large dogs behind fences that are barking at him or if an another large dog shows HIM aggression first. Otherwise, Bubba is a complete sweetheart. Bubba will love his human the way they write about in movies…perhaps you can be the hero he is waiting for? Interested in becoming Bubba’s forever home? Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. We have foster homes in the NJ/NY area waiting to receive their fosters. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, we make arrangements for transport. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed.
