About a year later, Tom and his siblings were placed on the euthanasia list, but Adogs stepped in just in time and brought them to safety. 3⃣ Basic Information 🐾 With People Still a little shy about being touched, but will come closer to sniff with curiosity. Gentle and shows no signs of aggression even when strangers approach. Comes a bit closer to familiar people, especially when treats are involved. Can be touched and leashed when he is gently guided or cornered. 🐾 With Dogs Gets along well with dogs he already knows. A bit wary of unfamiliar dogs and doesn’t naturally mingle with them. 🐾 With Cats Did not respond well to cats. May chase or threaten them, so a cat-free home or very careful management is recommended. 🐾 Separation Anxiety Not confirmed, as he currently lives with other dogs at our center. 🐾 Potty Training Currently only potties outdoors at our center. 🐾 Hygiene Handles bath time well and accepts brushing nicely. 🐾 Walks Has received training at a dog school, so he walks nicely on leash. Can be startled by sudden noises on walks, so gentle handling is needed. 🐾 Car Sickness Rides in the car without getting sick. 🐾 Biting Does not bite people. May snap at other dogs if they crowd his space when treats are being given, so treat time should be managed. 🐾 Barking May bark when meeting strangers. 💙 Likes Absolutely loves treats. 💙 Dislikes / Things to Watch Too much touch or attention can make him uncomfortable. Please go slowly and give him time to warm up.

Meet Bubba Charlie, whose head is as big as his heart. To know anything about Bubba you just have to know how he was found. The kind soul that saved him from homelessness shared this: “This adorable creature arrived on my porch in a rainstorm and never wanted to leave. He was wonderful and easy going and friendly to neighbors and dogs, I could not say no. I wanted to keep him because he is so special but unfortunately my landlord will not allow me to. I didn't want to bring him to the animal shelter where he might be destroyed, so I am personally paying to board him. He truly needs a home and he is SUCH a good boy. He will be someone’s absolute BEST friend and will adore whoever saves him from this life.” Bubba is some form of a bulldog / bully breed. He is quite young, we estimate he is 1-2 years old. He is good with dogs, kids, cats and loves every human he meets. He is a large lovebug, weighing in at 74 lbs. He is housebroken, and crate trained. He will need a little help on the leash but overall is very well behaved. He will occasionally try to chase a squirrel or two while on leash but is overall unreactive on lead, he is just playful and curious about those small moving, fast critters. Bubba is WONDERFUL with little dogs - they can jump all over him and give him lots of attention and grief and he is non-reactive. The only time we have seen Bubba take issue with other dogs is large dogs behind fences that are barking at him or if an another large dog shows HIM aggression first. All fees listed include transport fees.** In an unfair turn of events, Trudy found herself in need of rescue when she was surrendered by a breeder. She is good with other dogs, however she is possessive of food and toys around other dogs. So, we feel she would do best in a home by herself. Trudy does fine on walk with other dogs and hanging out with them as long as there is no toys or food involved. She loves hanging out with people and she is good with kids. Trudy truly loves to explore and is always up for an adventure, so if you're looking for an energetic and fun-loving dog, then she is the one for you. Trudy deserves a new leash on life and can't wait to start the next leg of her journey with you! The vet said she is around 3 years old, but we think she might be older.
