Meet Tonka! Tonka is a one year old 32 pound, fun loving English Bulldog. Tonka came to us with a prolapsed rectum which required surgery to repair. The surgery was successful but Tonka does have the propensity to re-prolapse. This can be mostly controlled with a special diet and low stress environments. Tonka loves to play with human and doggy friends! He is best in an environment where he does not have to be crated but Tonka is great at going potty on pee pads! He also does well on a leash. Tonka has also met some cats and done well with them, and has had recent bloodwork.

If there are multiple dogs that you are interested in, please fill out an application for each dog. This does not include bonded pairs, one application will be fine. We have different adoption coordinators working with different dogs, and your application may be missed if you only apply once.

We put a lot of time and energy into processing our adoptions to find our babies the best fit home for them and you. Please do not submit an application if you are not serious about adopting.

Our adoption fee is $650. This includes their spay/neuter surgery, full (age appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention and travel expenses.
All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. We have foster homes in the NJ/NY area waiting to receive their fosters. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, we make arrangements for transport. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed.
