She is good with other dogs, however she is possessive of food and toys around other dogs. So, we feel she would do best in a home by herself. Trudy does fine on walk with other dogs and hanging out with them as long as there is no toys or food involved. She loves hanging out with people and she is good with kids. Trudy truly loves to explore and is always up for an adventure, so if you're looking for an energetic and fun-loving dog, then she is the one for you. Trudy deserves a new leash on life and can't wait to start the next leg of her journey with you! The vet said she is around 3 years old, but we think she might be older. Bowser is an adorable, happy lowrider. He is great with kids, ok with cats and good with some other dogs (slow introductions always recommend). Bowser is young and would benefit from a strong leader who can guide him to be their best buddy. He is a true Bully... stubborn, with a rough play style. But also very loving and loyal. He loves to be with his person. Bowser loves car rides and snuggling with his people. Who wants to give this cutie a happy home? Ladies, do you want a reason to need to keep your nails done? Meet Cedric, he melts for back scratches and practically has an out of body experience if the one giving the scratches has strong, healthy nails. He may not be able to pay for them but he will always admire and appreciate them. In return for the backcscrathes he has snuggles, sweet kisses, and short walks to offer. His charming personality gives us so many classic bulldog qualities, from his easy-going, unbothered nature to his approach to urgency- there is none. GIVE ME A SLICE OF THAT MEATLOAF! With a name fitting of his personality, meet Meatloaf! A chunky good ol’ boy who specializes in eating, sleeping, and tooting. LOL. He rocks a onesie like no other and is ready for his forever family! We believe Meatloaf is about 5 years old and weighs approximately 44 lbs. Despite his bulldog-like looks, we cannot guarantee breed or age given he is a rescue. But I am sure you can agree, Meatloaf has some bulldog in him. He currently is being fostered in a home with 6 other dogs weighing over 70 pounds and has not a care in the world. He is only concerned about what spot he gets to sleep in and what time dinner is! He would do well in a home with other dogs but would not offer much more than a body to cuddle with. He honestly would be great as a solo dog as well! If you offer him a treat and a space to sleep beside you, he is the happiest boy in the whole world! The only time I saw Meatloaf get slightly energized was when he met our housecat, Biggie. Meatloaf looked very ready to chase Biggie even though it was highly likely he would not get the chance because his speed only goes to .5 mph lol. Due to his peaked interest though, we are recommending that Meatloaf be in a home with no cats in order to keep the peace of the home. He hasn’t been around kids but we are happy to watch how he interacts around any aged kid that is in your home! We want to make sure that he is the perfect boy for you! Although a yard will be loved, Meatloaf could live in an apartment as long as stairs were not a regular element of his “commute.” It will be no surprise but he is not built for physically strenuous activities like flights of stairs or walks. Short walks are fine but long ones are not ideal. A single story apartment, one with an elevator, and nearby parking is definitely a possibility though! Mabel is a certified people-dog who has mastered the art of chill! She leans in for affection, rolls over for belly rubs, loves being loved on, and is happiest just being near her people. Mabel is a certified people-dog who has mastered the art of chill! She leans in for affection, rolls over for belly rubs, loves being loved on, and is happiest just being near her people. Dog-wise, Mabel is more of a “coexist” than “let’s play” kind of girl. She was relaxed and unbothered during off-leash time with other dogs, not reactive at all even when other dogs were being too much, she was perfectly happy just doing her own thing. She showed a little interest in playing with an 8-month-old puppy, but when he lost interest, so did she. She’s best matched with a low to medium energy dog who won’t push her to engage or crowd her space. Mabel will need a cat-free home. When she met our home cat it was easy to see an uninvited game of chase cross her mind. That would be chaos for everyone involved. Apartment life? Yes, please. Mabel doesn’t need a ton of exercise—just short walks and time to chill inside with her humans. GIVE ME A SLICE OF THAT MEATLOAF! With a name fitting of his personality, meet Meatloaf! A chunky good ol’ boy who specializes in eating, sleeping, and tooting. LOL. He rocks a onesie like no other and is ready for his forever family! We believe Meatloaf is about 5 years old and weighs approximately 44 lbs. Despite his bulldog-like looks, we cannot guarantee breed or age given he is a rescue. But I am sure you can agree, Meatloaf has some bulldog in him. He currently is being fostered in a home with 6 other dogs weighing over 70 pounds and has not a care in the world. He is only concerned about what spot he gets to sleep in and what time dinner is! He would do well in a home with other dogs but would not offer much more than a body to cuddle with. He honestly would be great as a solo dog as well! If you offer him a treat and a space to sleep beside you, he is the happiest boy in the whole world! The only time I saw Meatloaf get slightly energized was when he met our housecat, Biggie. Meatloaf looked very ready to chase Biggie even though it was highly likely he would not get the chance because his speed only goes to .5 mph lol. Due to his peaked interest though, we are recommending that Meatloaf be in a home with no cats in order to keep the peace of the home. He hasn’t been around kids but we are happy to watch how he interacts around any aged kid that is in your home! We want to make sure that he is the perfect boy for you! Although a yard will be loved, Meatloaf could live in an apartment as long as stairs were not a regular element of his “commute.” It will be no surprise but he is not built for physically strenuous activities like flights of stairs or walks. Short walks are fine but long ones are not ideal. A single story apartment, one with an elevator, and nearby parking is definitely a possibility though! So why choose Meatloaf over the dozens of other bulldogs out there? Easy. He won’t just steal your heart, he’ll probably steal your spot on the couch, your last bite of sandwich, and become the most beloved part of your daily routine. Hello! I’m Bubba. I’m a healthy two and a half year old. I have a chill affectionate personality. I enjoy naps, playing with my toys, walks, and car rides are my all time favorite! I would love to have a fenced yard. I still tend to pull on leash at times, but I’m getting better. I can be picky about who my canine friends are. Introducing Fishy Longbottom, a charming French Bulldog who’s as sweet and snuggly as his name is unique! This 2–3-year-old, 20-pound bundle of joy has a heart full of love and a playful spirit that’s impossible to resist. When he’s not soaking up attention, he loves playing with toys and rolling around happily in his dog bed. He loves car rides, too! Fishy walks nicely on a leash and is both house and crate trained, so he’s ready to fit right into your routine. Fishy is also a special needs pup. His vet suspects he may have a form of megaesophagus, though it hasn’t been officially confirmed. The good news? He’s doing wonderfully on his current medications and is living his best, happy life! A dog doesn’t just get the name Fabio for no reason. The name alone gives you a clear image of a striking specimen and the day I met him, I was not disappointed. He is the epitome of why we say rescue is our favorite breed because this boy is unique and interesting in the way only a mixed-up rescue dog could be. A brown-eye, a blue-eye, the looks of a shepherd/husky and the face of a bull terrier. Stunning! Fabio is so fortunate and is being dedicated in a loving foster home where he has really displayed what a keeper he is. From his house manners to his dog-friendly personality, he just fit right in. His foster shared that he slipped right into the routine of things around her house and was fast friends with all the dogs. Not only is Fabio house-trained but he is also crate-trained, has great basic leash skills, and a growing number of basic commands. His foster family frequently takes him out and about for errands or local events and they shared that he has consistently been great easy-company! Fabios foster home includes 6 dogs, a few cats, along with an occasional “guest” who is just passing through. This has really highlighted how dog-friendly Fabio is. Although Fabio is a large dog with a love for physical play, he can read other dogs well and does not push if a dog is not interested. He also has an understanding of his size versus smaller dog friends. Fabio would love a home with an equal sized, playful, female companion but can live peacefully with small dogs. When we introduced Fabio to our house cat he was respectfully cautious and his foster shared he co-exists peacefully with their cats. Fabio could live in a home with dog-savvy cats who feel comfortable around dogs but do not need a playmate in the dog. Fabio is estimated to be about 4 years old and he weighs 60 lbs. Breed and age are details we cannot guarantee given he is a rescue but his personality and presence do fit a dog who has left his puppy days behind. He loves to play but also knows how to take a break, whether that is outside with doggie friends or while out and about at an event- we love that quality! You will get to meet your new pup over a video call before signing paperwork, creating a fun and personalized adoption experience!  The adoption fee is $900 and includes all vetting (DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12 month heartworm preventative injectible, heartworm test and treatment if needed, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and priceless years of love and loyal companionship!  We have over 15,000 successful adoptions so far and have excellent Google Reviews: https://g.co/kgs/UQ5Pyai We care deeply about making the perfect match between dog and family for long term success.  Our rescue has a 2 acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress!  Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.  The rescue’s hard costs alone (excluding transport) for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,368. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the adoption fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. Transport is a significant additional expense to the rescue.  While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that the rescue does not receive government funding and must fundraise to offset the remaining expense balance which ranges $100-1,000++ per animal on these direct costs.
