I would require an agreement and refundable fee to make sure that Tuna gets fixed within a month of adoption. She is not to be used for breeding. Tuna is a very sweet, loyal dog once she feels safe. She is nervous around new people and animals, and she shows that by barking, growling, and raising her hackles. She will usually hide behind me or stand between me and what scares her. She has never bitten anyone. She does wear a muzzle at the vet. She needs someone experienced with anxious or reactive dogs who can give her slow introductions to a calm environment. With her people, she is incredibly gentle and loving. She's honestly just the sweetest dog with the biggest heart. She just needs someone to give her a chance.

Meet Glacier! Glacier is a lovable, 5 month old male Pitbull mix with a face that looks almost identical to the dog emoji! His adorable white face with tan markings is sure to steal your heart, and his sweet, playful personality will brighten your days. Glacier and his sister were surrendered to PFP at a very young age, and he’s been growing up in a loving foster home, surrounded by care, attention, and plenty of snuggles. Now, he’s ready to find his forever family! Glacier is an active and curious little guy. He’s full of energy and loves to explore, but he also knows how to balance his exercise with cozy couch naps and plenty of cuddle time. Glacier is very smart and wants to please his people. He’s a bit stubborn at times, but he’s working hard with his foster to improve his skills and learn the best ways to interact with other dogs. Right now, he prefers to have his circle small, and he feels most comfortable with the people he loves. He’s still learning how to communicate appropriately with other dogs and will need time to gain confidence in doggy interactions. Glacier has briefly interacted with younger kids, and while he may not have been around children much, he’d likely do well with older kids who understand how to respectfully and appropriately play with him. He’s a little ball of sweetness who truly wants to be the best boy he can be, and his growth has been nothing short of rewarding. We love Ivy! Ivy is such a charming and friendly dog who makes instant friends with anyone she meets (sometimes needs a minute or 2 with some dogs.) Ivy loves kiddie pools and will entertain herself with toys. Even after they're gutted, she enjoys flipping them around and catching them. If the shred lands in your lap, then you're in on the game too! Ivy's foster mom says: "Boxer mix Ivy is delightful, with excellent house manners, good with small kids, good on a leash. Great with other dogs after a proper introduction. Loves watersports: pools, hoses, and squirt guns. Sweet, friendly, and affectionate with excellent house manners." Ivy is crate trained and has excellent house manners. She is fine with small children. She walks well on a leash but can be strong. Ivy is about 2 yo and weighs about 55 lbs. She is spayed, vaccinated, screened for parasites, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $390 cash and she is available for foster-to-adopt within the Chicago area.
