Story
We adopted Lily six years ago from a rescue, already an adult, so her exact age is unknown. She’s a sweet, affectionate dog who loves attention and being petted. Mealtimes are her favorite part of the day (twice daily), and she’ll make sure you don’t forget. Lily enjoys playing tug with her toys and is impressively well-behaved—she sticks to her toys and doesn’t chew on anything else. She’s a loyal companion who wants to be by your side and generally gets along well with people, though she has a strong dislike for our housekeeper and needs to be kenneled during those visits. Thunderstorms scare her, and she’ll seek comfort close to you; on rare occasions, she’s had accidents indoors during storms. While she’s excited about walks, her hips limit her to short distances—about one block—though she doesn’t require pain medication. She does take daily seizure medication, which costs around $20 per month. If wanted Lily can bring her food bowl and more equippment.

This precious meat head is Champs. Big, strong, loving and loyal and looking for a loving home. Champs was found living in a homeless camp with a logger chain and lock around his neck - chained to a tree. Life was desperate for this guy with his open neck wound. What agony he lived in day after day, despite that he was still nice to people and other dogs that came up to him. Luckily, a good person stepped up and did something rather than just pass him by. Champs is a sweet loving smart boy. He is eager to please his people and make them proud. He is the most handsomest, sweetest little big guy out there! We are working on our Canine Good Citizenship together and he is SOOOO quick to learn and eager to please! Champs is good with other dogs, but does need proper intros as he is VERY excitable and not a lot of other dogs like that. But he when he makes friends, they are the best of pals! Not sure on cats or other pets. He's very curious so he'd probably chase a cat if it ran from him. He is high energy. I would recommend an active home with teenagers with lots of energy that they can play together. He loves a consistent routine. So I would imagine the energy will settle a bit when in a home. He loves a good car ride and would be a great on-the-go pup! He's in boarding right now and needs a foster or adopter that is willing to continue his training! He would sure love a home to experience life with a loving family. Champs seems to like everybody he meets: humans and canines. Hutch is a shy boy that takes a minute to trust and to warm up to strangers. As you can see from his photos, once he has a minute, he is just a lover! He gets along great with other dogs, is house, crate and leash trained. All Dallas Dog adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. Puppies adopted under the age of five months require a spay/neuter contract, and all dogs are required to be spayed by six months unless otherwise medically noted. Our dogs are currently on heartworm preventative. Puppies receive 3 to 4 rounds of vaccinations depending on their age, and adults receive two rounds unless they've been with us longer than a year, in which case they receive the booster update. Story
I have no time for him and it saddens me because he’s been great! I wish it was easy to choose Teddy over work but with the economy I’ve been left with this tough decision. He deserves a family or home where someone is there to be with him. He’s a great dog and extremely loving! I know that he will love where ever he goes and also get loved on.
