Story
Dozer was turned over to rescue after his previous owner lost him through the courts in a cruelty case. This poor guy has been through so much, yet he still retains the devotion and desire to please that his breed is known for.He is so enthusiastic about finally having humans who are kind and loving towards him, and a chance for a great doggie life. We are working on helping him rein in his excitement a bit and stop jumping up on humans. Once he learns this, he will excel around children and the elderly, as he genuinely loves everyone. This handsome guy is happy and outgoing, walks well on a leash, and loves going for a ride, so would love to be your go everywhere possible boy.Dozer has other dogs in his foster home, but he lacks social skills with dogs, so he should be the only dog in his forever home or have an experienced owner to help him continue developing these skills. He is not fond of cats, and that is unlikely to change. He uses a doggie door in his foster home, so he has never had any accidents inside. He was at the vet clinic for over a week and did fine in a crate, but is no longer confined to one. He is treat-motivated and loves being a good boy; once engaged, he is a good student for training.Dozer is fully vetted - current with vaccines, neutered, microchipped, and on flea/tick andheartworm prevention.

Story
***DFW area only-No Exceptions*** Happy is a 2 year old American Staffordshire Terrier and possible cattle dog mix.  He was taken to the shelter when found stray and adopted as a baby. The adopter lives changed over the years and they are no longer able to give him the tone and attention he deserves.    Happy loves to be played with, enjoys belly rubs, and is very social. In fact, if he thinks you are going to pet him, he will roll over to beg for a tummy rub! He is a very loving puppy who greets those he loves with a very happy tail! He is incredibly loving, sweet and cuddly. Puppies at this age will require patience and training to become the best pup they can be. Happy is potty trained. He knows sit and sits and waits until told to “go” for his food.  He does well with other dogs, cats and kids. He responds well to corrections from dogs and curtails his behavior accordingly.  Current weight 40lbs Crate trained   The adoption includes his neuter, three rounds of puppy vaccines, a rabies vaccine, microchip with registration, dewormer and a single dose of heartworm preventative.  If you're interested in meeting or adopting him, please complete an application on our website and someone will reach out to you within 48 hours.  https://legacyhumanesociety.org/adoptfoster/adoption-application/ We do not have a facility to house the dogs in our program. Story
Maggie is still searching for her forever family—and she’s been patiently waiting for nearly three years! This sweet girl is all heart and would love nothing more than to spend her days getting belly rubs and hanging out with her people. Maggie gets along well with other dogs, as long as they’re not overly pushy or reactive. Her ideal canine companion would be a laid-back dog who enjoys lounging around the house. She would thrive as an only dog too! Maggie loves walks, car rides, and is potty trained and kennel trained. She’s a 6 year old American Pit Bull Terrier/American Bulldog/American Staffordshire Terrier mix. Due to her breed mix, she’s best suited for a home (no apartments, please). If you’re ready to give Maggie the loving home she deserves, please fill out an application at rescuerowinc.org! *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 2-4 business days. *You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a homecheck *Our adoption fees are as follows paid by cash, a check made out to Rescue Row, Venmo: @Rescue-Row or at Zelle: info@rescuerowinc.org Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs. ##1482209##

Story
Foxy is a stunning 2-year-old spayed female Staffordshire Terrier with a beautiful reddish-brown and white coat and a personality as bright as her name! This happy, social girl loves being around people and wants nothing more than to be included in whatever you’re doing. If you’re looking for a dog who greets you with excitement and affection every time, Foxy is your girl.Foxy is an energetic, outdoorsy pup who thrives on activity and adventure. She enjoys going for walks, zooming around the yard, and soaking up the sunshine. When she gets excited, she’ll hop around the yard like a little bunny, which is just as adorable as it sounds! One of her absolute favorite things in the world is playing with a toy attached to the end of a stick—she could chase it for hours and have the time of her life.Because of her energy level, Foxy would do best in a home with a fenced-in backyard and an active family who can keep up with her playful spirit. She can be dog selective, so a meet and greet is required to ensure a good match with any canine companions. Foxy is also a total foodie—treats make her tail wag nonstop and are a surefire way to win her heart. If you’re ready for a fun-loving, affectionate, and energetic companion who will bring joy, laughter, and plenty of playful moments into your home, Foxy is waiting to meet you!
