I'm Benny, a bouncy, lovable 3 month old Boxer/Catahoula mix, and I'm on the lookout for my forever home. If you're searching for a furry friend who’s full of energy and affection, look no further—I’m your guy! I may still be a pup, but I’ve already mastered the art of being adorable. My Boxer side gives me an extra dose of playful spirit, while my Catahoula genes bring a dash of cleverness and a love for adventure. Whether it’s chasing after a ball, exploring the backyard, or curling up for a nap after a day of fun, I’m all in! Here’s a little about me: Playtime Enthusiast: I love to romp around and play with toys, so I’d thrive in a home where I can get plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. Social Butterfly: I get along well with other dogs and enjoy meeting new people. My wagging tail and happy demeanor make me a hit with everyone I meet! Cuddly Companion: After all the fun and games, I enjoy snuggling up with my humans. I’m looking for a family who will shower me with love and attention. I’m looking for a family who’s ready to provide me with the care, training, and love I need to grow into a well-behaved and happy adult dog. In return, I promise to fill your life with joy, laughter, and endless puppy kisses! Benny is located in San Antonio. His adoption fee is $195 local or $395 out of state with transport and includes up to date on vaccinations appropriate for their age, neuter, microchip, and wormed for internal and external parasites. If you would like more information or an adoption application, please email us at sgdrsa@outlook.com. An adoption application can be completed online at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/SGDR/Dog Please note that visual breed identification in rescue dogs is unreliable so for most of our dogs we are only GUESSING at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.

Story
WINTER IS AN ABSOLUTE DOLL! She is the sweetest girl and loves EVERYONE! If you think that adorable smiles warms your heart in pictures, wait tell you see it in person! She could easily sucker a couple extra treats out of Drill Instructor! She is a little picky on pups so she would do best in a single dog home with no cats. She does good with kids and receives treats from them oh so gentle. She is house and kennel trained. LOVES car rides, just sits and enjoys the beautiful world around her. She also loves to go for walks! She is great on the leash. She doesn't acknowledge other dogs unless they are barking at her. We are sure with some gentle redirection this will be improved if not fully corrected. Winter was saved from the kill list several months ago because of over pet population in Texas and she is so deserving of a furever family. Video meet and greets are available for approved adopters out of state. This pup is located in San Antonio, TX. Transport is included with our of state adoptions throughout the US and Canada with our trusted rescues transport companies. All dogs are fully vetted to age, altered, microchipped and receive a health certificate if transporting.

Story
Special Considerations: no other pets, available for permanent foster Meet Tesla! This snuggly girl was dumped by her breeder and has been with us her entire life! She is the most loving dog you will ever meet and quickly became a staff favorite. She has a neurologic disorder that causes fecal incontinence, but she’s very familiar with diapers and prefers to go outside. She loves chasing water from the hose and chewing her toys, but she really loves cuddling up on your lap. She doesn't like to share her people or things so she needs to be the only pet in the home, but she’s the best cuddler with her favorite people. If you’ve been looking for the most wonderful and wiggliest boxer, Tesla is your girl! Tesla is current on vaccines, spayed and microchipped.

Story
Meet Ginger! This sweetie pie lost her home when her owner passed away. She was left behind in an empty home. She is now in our foster care and doing great. She is so lovely.  From her foster mom: Ginger is a lovely girl, very food motivated. If she feels you are not feeding her enough goodies, she will go searching for them.  She LOVES her walks and will tell you about it when she knows they are about to happen. It is the only time she talks up a storm. She especially likes squirrels and thinks she can climb trees with them. Cats are probably not an option for this reason. She is a snuggle bug. On the couch at night, she must be touching you and will paw your hand if you don’t pet her. I raise my hand, and she will put her head into it. It is hilarious. For some reason she likes the bathrooms, one of mine doesn’t have a window and I find her sitting on the tub rug all the time She’s medium energy and very well potty trained.  Her butt wiggle is the best thing ever! She wiggles her butt and smiles with that fantastic underbite. Ginger is a catch! Ginger is vaccinated, chipped and spayed. Her adoption fee is $450 We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.  Thank you for stepping up to save a life! To expedite to meet with this dog, please go to our site at www.savinggreatanimals.org and fill out an application. We look at the first applications to arrive, so we hope to hear from you soon! Story
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED! Cody is a 5 - 6 year old Boxer mix who is looking for a loving, active and structured forever home! He is sweet but had a rough beginning so will need a rescue experienced home that will help him build trust, learn basic obedience and gain confidence. He will bond to his people and loves attention and affection. He loves treats and is glad to work for them! He has not had a lot of training so will need support with continued basic obedience. He is looking for a home that is adult only or with kids over the age of 16. He will thrive in a home where he can be active, he loves to run around, go for walks, and would make an excellent outdoor activity partner. Cody can do well with other dogs but it is always best to do proper introductions to make sure it is a good match and that all parties 'mesh'. Cody would do best in a home with a large fenced yard where he can run, roam and play. Cody is UTD on shots, has had a dental, is microchipped and neutered. His adoption fee is $400.

WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Heidi - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! My name is Heidi, full of youthful exuberance for life, innocence and curiosity. Ready to crawl right into your heart (won't take long either!!) and be a part of a family...YOUR family! I am still a youngster yet, a big puppy at heart! I have lots of energy and am quite agile. I could be a great candidate for obedience classes and maybe even some fun ones like agility classes. I'm a smart cookie (i know cuz my foster mom tell me so!) and catch on quickly. At 11 months and around 45lbs, I shouldn't get much bigger at my adult weight. What a perfect size for...everything! Neighborhood strolls, nature hikes(aaaah, all those wonderful tantalizing smells), camping, being a co-pilot for errand runs or trips to the park! You name it, I'm ready to give it a whirl and have a blast too (with whatever it is) just cuz we're doing it together!! And the bestest part is that I'm also small enough that I don't hog the whole couch for my cherished cuddle time!! My foster mom wanted you to know this about me - -she is housebroken -she wants to be a lap dog; -she would fit well with an adult home with older children; -with her high prey drive she should be in a home without small dogs or cats but will do well with her size or larger size breed of dogs; -she is a fast learner and will shine with an owner that will include her in their everyday life adventures; -she is crate trained; -she follows basic commands and walks well on leash; -she thrives on daily walks; -she’s a family dog and will make a fabulous family member; -she loves walks, hikes, exploring, tug of war and games using her nose and sparking her intelligence; -she’s quite agile and shows ability in figuring out how to jump over or crawl under set obstacles. She is happy, fun loving and eager to bring joy to her forever home! As my short sleek coat is low maintenance in the grooming department, making me more of a wash-n-to type of gal. And you do know what that means don't you?!! Oh yep yep, lots of extra time in the 'spoil me rotten' department. And you know that's what it's all about!! ;) Big on personality, smart and inquisitive, affectionate and sweet, my oh my I have a boatload of great traits going on, oh and don't forget my stunning good looks, to make me a great family addition, I just need the family...could it be YOUR family?

Story
Animal Profile: Latte is just about the cutest little boxer mix -- an estimated 18 months old and pocket sized at 36 lbs -- spayed female. She came from a home with 14 dogs on the property, someone who "saved a few dogs" and then let them breed. All the dogs have now been fixed thanks to our rescue partner and are headed to the PNW. Latte is very affectionate and loving. She loves attention. She plays well with other dogs of all sizes and was non-reactive to cats at the vet's office for her exam. We will share more info as we get to know her in foster care.  Foster Update: This little boxer girl is a bundle of energy! She loves to play, be outside, and be part of the pack. She can be shy at first when meeting new people, but warms up quickly and then wants to be your buddy. She thinks all dogs are her best friend and would love another dog in her home to play with but will do best with a dog or dogs that can match her rough and tumble play style as she is still learning boundaries. She is crate trained, sleeps through the night, and settles well in her crate during the day. Latte would love an active family to explore the PNW with and maybe even do some agility training as this girl shows some athletic promise! Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, heartworm test if applicable, microchip with registration, and health certificate. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization. All adoption fees go toward the care of all dogs in our rescue.  Apply Online: www.DogGoneSeattle.org/adoption-application Animal History: This dog is being transferred from our partner in Texas Saving Shelter Strays and arriving on 07/29/2024 to the Seattle area. This dog will be fostered in the greater Seattle area and available for adoption once evaluated in foster care.October 6, 2024, 2:12 pm
