Big Shot is a 3 yo staffordshire terrier mix, who will do great in an experienced pitbull home. Big is fine around dogs in kennels or walks, but we do not know yet how he is at home, as he lives in boarding He loves people and will rollover for pets when he meets a new animal lover. We do not adoptt our pitties to homes with young kids. Big's ideal home will be an only pet, in a kid-free home. Previous bully breed experience is mandatory to adopt our pitties. Big is 3 year old, around 65 lb and current on vaccination, neutered, and microchipped, He is heartworm negative and kept on heartworm and flea preventative. Oreo is currently at a rescue in Oklahoma. We are looking for a home in a state where people treat their animals well. He has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport near one of the cities listed at bottom. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, he will go back to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found. -Oreo is a male mixed breed. His DNA results were: 42% American Staffordshire Terrier, 16% Australian Cattle Dog, 13% American Pit Bull Terrier, and 5% or less of 12 other breeds. -just turned a year old (February 14th) -Weighs around 55-60 pounds (February 14th), will be a medium-large dog. -Came into rescue with other puppies; they were dumped on the side of the road. -He is high energy! Hi, my name is Cherry Blossom! I was born March 15, 2024. My people think I may an American Staffordshire terrier mix. I came into rescue with my mom and 12 littermates. A nice lady took my mom in while pregnant and two weeks later she gave birth. My mom is a sweet girl weighing 43 pounds. She is the cute brindle and white girl in the photo array. Before you ask, we don’t have any idea who my dad is. He was probably worried about puppy support and high tailed it out of here. I am a super sweet girl. My foster family has done a great job socializing me. I love everyone I meet. There are other dogs where I am so I am use to that. Maybe I will have a big brother or sister in my new home. Hi, my name is Dayman! My estimated birthday is May 29, 2025, and my people think I may be an American Staffordshire terrier mix. I was found wandering a rural area with no microchip or ID, so my exact background is a mystery. (And before you ask—we don’t know who my parents are. My breed is just our best guess!) I am a pretty social boy but I have never lived with children. With that being said a home with eight and up would be best. I’m still a young pup with a lot of puppy energy. I’m a super sweet boy who loves to play, snuggle, and nap with my humans. Cuddles are definitely one of my favorite pastimes! I also enjoy playing with toys and would love a toy box full of them—hint, hint. I do well with other dogs and would love to have playmates in my new home. I haven’t been tested with cats yet, but since I’m still young, I could learn to live with one if introduced properly. Meet our handsome sweet boy JAX Jax is between 3-5 year's old and we think he is an American Staffordshire Terrier mix. He is between 65-70 pounds. Jax is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, neutered and healthy. Jax is such a great dog that only wants to be fed, cared for and loved. He is very appreciative of what he has now because of where he came from prior to being rescued. Jax was found suffering on the streets of Houston near the brink of death. If we hadn't found him and picked him up he would not be there today. With some much needed medical care and love he is now a healthy boy looking for his forever home. Jax is house and crate trained. He loves his large kennel it's his safe space. When it’s time for his kennel he knows treats are waiting on him. He is very treat motivated for training. Jax walks very well on a leash and has gotten so much better at listening to commands. He can always use some additional training because all dogs do. He absolutely loves his feeding times and will loudly let you know when it's time to eat. He also lets you know when he needs to go outside. Jax loves playing with his toys and chewing on his marrow bones. He loves all people he meets as he is just a total love bug. Jax likes to chase the outside cats so we are going to say no to a home with furry felines. He is good with other dogs.

Welcome Honey to CCPAL foster Program. Honey is a 3 year old Boxer mixed dog. She is potty trained. We think Honey survived the flood in Kerrville. A good samaritan has taken her in and is giving her good nutrition and love until we find her forever home. She was really scratched up and had a wound on her front left leg. She will be spayed soon and she is going to the vet again for a follow up on her leg. Our guess is it may have gotten broken and healed back on it’s own due to what she has gone through. She is good on a leash, very loving and bonds deeply. She lives with 5 cats right now but she is much too interested and we feel her best home would be without cats. She loves all people and no one is a stranger. She is good with dogs her size and is an energetic girl. Her best home would be with an active and ourdoorsy family that wants a great companion to join them in their outdoor fun. She is looking wonderful and filling out nicely in her new foster home. She lost some muscle around her bum area due to the length of time she was without food. Despite this, she would make an amazing family pet. She would love to be the only dog and be the center of her families attention. She weighs about 40 pounds and is a taller dog but medium weight. She is great in a car and would make a great dog in settings where lots of people are around. She is lower in shedding. She will be getting spayed soon and ready for her forever home. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Mumu is looking for a forever home where she can truly be a dog — enjoying companionship, structure, and the comfort of having her people nearby. She thrives when she has company during the day and does best with routine, consistency, and gentle guidance. She’s crate trained and genuinely loves her crate, often choosing it as her favorite place to relax and feel secure. This sweet girl has a playful side and enjoys engaging with her people, though her activity is currently more limited due to healing needs. She’s happiest when she’s included, supervised, and given appropriate outlets to stay mentally enriched without overdoing it physically. Mumu is seeking an experienced adopter, ideally someone familiar with bulldogs or dogs with ongoing medical needs. Her care routine is very manageable for the right person and will feel familiar to those with breed experience. Mumu does have several long-term medical considerations that require commitment and hands-on care. She will need daily and monthly medications, including monthly injections (which she handles like a champ), ongoing management of skin allergies, arthritis pain relief, and careful monitoring to prevent jumping or strain. She also has an upcoming TPLO surgery on her other leg, and we would love for her to recover in a home environment if possible. Down the road, her hips may require surgery as well. Estimated monthly care costs for food and medications are around $275. Her skin care routine includes wiping her feet after outdoor time and keeping her wrinkles clean and dry to prevent dermatitis — small tasks that make a big difference in her comfort and quality of life. Mumu would do best as the only dog in the home and has not been cat tested. A calm, attentive environment with someone who can be present during the day and committed to her physical limitations is essential. Bulldog experience is strongly preferred. Mumu may come with extra responsibility, but she gives back tenfold in affection, loyalty, and that unmistakable bulldog charm. She’s looking for someone who sees beyond her medical needs and is ready to love her fully — wrinkles, routines, and all. Mumu is spayed, crate trained, and available for adoption.
