Story
MEET LEO! What a great name for a dog, especially with the world's new Pope! Our Leo is a fun-loving and gentle 3-year-old Basenji-Chihuahua mix in need of a forever home. He's currently in a foster home in Edmonds! He weighs about 20-25 lbs. Leo was originally rescued from a crowded California shelter, and quickly adjusted to a better life! He loves to go for walks and he loves to eat, so will get excited at dinnertime! Leo also has a prey drive, so would probably do best in a home without cats. And he's actually afraid of kids, so would do best in an adult-only home. Please email for an application.

Story
**He is currently in Seattle** Mukgoo is about 5 years old. He was found near an army base in Korea and immigrated to America around the age of 1 on President’s Day of 2020. He is an incredibly smart and lovable dog. He is kind and loves people (loves dogs and people). He will eat almost anything (except veggies). He can be a jumper when he gets very excited. He prefers households with another dog and a big yard to run around in but it’s not a non-negotiable. He has always adjusted well to whatever the circumstance. Overall, he’s a good dog and he’s got a lot of love to give. I’m having to give him up due to being unable to raise him in my current life stage. In no way, this is due to any bad behaviors or anything. He’s a really kind-hearted and sweet dog. Likes - He loves playing fetch (quickest way to his heart), rolling in the grass, puppycinos, ice cream, snow, people, dogs - Historically has liked lamb, fish skin, salmon, bully sticks, dental sticks, sweet potato, etc. In general, he loves to eat~ - Very social and prefers to greet other dogs and people, including dog parks, doggy day cares Dislikes - He dislikes bath but who does - He doesn’t like being alone but can manage a few hours if needed - No longer is a fan of veggies - Fireworks and big noises Things to Watch out for - Throwing up: If you let him freely eat grass, he’ll throw up. When he feels stressed, he can react by throwing up. - He can be independent when he is fixated on things. Just be patient with him and he will come back to focus on you. He is a people pleaser. - He rarely barks. He may bark when other dogs bark but even that is rare. He is more of a whiner. If he needs to let you know something, he will whine. - Not a counter surfer but can be if you let him Commands He knows his basic commands (sit, down, hand, etc.) and is open to learning new ones as well. Potty He is used to peeing and pooing outside. Once you create a regular spot and time for him, it’s clockwork. Otherwise, just be aware when he whines that it may be time to go. - At a high level, he knows “go potty” and “go poo” as a sign to go to the bathroom - He will rarely go pee or poo inside the home. Once in a million tries, a thing like that can happen during the night but he’s really sorry when he does. Leash He has never been fully off-leash, only in areas that condone it (home, backyard, dog park, etc.). He is not one to go off-leash and run away. He’ll run around and try to have you play with him. Keep him on a short leash if you need to focus on walking as he can veer away due to his interest in sniffing. Once on a short leash, he’ll understand and walk along. However, give him time to sniff as he is very curious with smells. Sleep He can sleep together or on his own if you’re in a different room or floor. He is also loves to cuddle up as well. When there’s fireworks, it’s recommended you sleep where he sees you because he’s afraid of the loud sounds. Food He is on one meal a day. If you give him two meals a day, he may not eat the first meal. Snacks though he loves. He knows how to sit and wait for food. He is currently on Costco’s salmon and sweet potato meal. * With People: Is a sociable dog who likes people so much. Loves greeting and being petted so much, wagging his tail. * With Dogs: Gets along very well with any dog. Has good social skills with dogs, so he becomes popular when playing with canine friends at the dog park. * Separation Anxiety: Sometimes barks along only when other dogs bark, but the exact details are not known yet. May need training to adapt again when the environment changes. * Potty Training: Prefers pottying outdoors rather than indoors. * Hygiene: Is a little afraid of water. Accepts baths nicely when being handled carefully. * Walks: Is an excellent walker and matches his pace with his handler. Loves going for walks and enjoys smelling while walking. 💌Special Notes💌 * Is so smart that he has mastered "sit down," "wait," and "paw." * Has a bright personality and runs when he's excited and expresses a lot of affection. * Is a bit scared of sudden loud noises.

Behaviours from the previous foster: She is so gentle that she doesn’t bark at all and doensn’t have any aggressive behaviours. She is doing her job out doors- moving her bowels. She is not a big fan of showering but she seems to bear it- She is so patient. We haven’t found any separation anxieties so far, She seems to be beyond happy when the owners come back home though. She is a little bit timid that she is afraid of some scary noise like vacuum cleaner, plastic bottle and so on. She has so much love in her. Be her loving family and she will be with you and adores you forever. Allergy/health issues: She has motion sickness. So It will help her if you let her doing her job_moving her bowels_ and keep her stomach empty before gettinng a car. *Please send all inquiries to @everlove8282. *Please submit your applications through the application form on our Instagram profile! Story
✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to SEA💟 Meet Hyunmi💕 (It means brown rice in Korean) Hyunmi was rescued from the Gimje City Shelter along with his sibling #AdogsGwiri. The two relied on each other in the shelter. Since they were still young and the shelter had outbreaks of infectious diseases, both were rescued before spending their entire puppyhood there. * With People: Is a bit shy and may bark when approached by unfamiliar people but calms down quickly if redirected. With familiar people, he follows them around, wags his tail, and enjoys being held. Has become very accustomed to touch and will roll over to show his belly when approached or petted. * With Dogs: Is afraid of unfamiliar dogs, so he will receive training. Loves playing with familiar dogs and enjoys full-body play with a dog at his foster home. Seems to become more emotionally attached to that dog, and we are keeping an eye on this bond. * With Cats: Shows little interest when encountering cats. * Separation Anxiety: Is fine spending time alone and plays well with a dog companion. When left with a stranger, he is a bit shy at first, but relaxes if given treats. * Potty Training: Mostly does his business outdoors. When indoors, he prefers using the bathroom rather than pee pads. * Hygiene: Tries to avoid bath time but cooperates once caught. Shows his dislike of nail trimming by whining. * Walks: Has improved significantly with leash pulling since beginning solo walks. Used to stop when seeing cars or motorcycles, but has gained confidence and even runs during walks. Still finds busy streets overwhelming, so desensitization training is ongoing. Sometimes tries to chew his leash or collar, which he’s also being desensitized to. * Car Sickness: Did well on short trips without issue. * Light Biting: Tends to resist when someone tries to grab him with their hands. Most of the time, he just squeals, but when he’s really uncomfortable, he may try to mouth or nip, so please be cautious. * Barking: Barks occasionally as a way to express himself, but it's usually mild. * Sensitivity: Is a bit timid by nature. If someone plays too roughly, he may get startled and let out a yelp. Is also sensitive to sudden loud noises and can get scared easily. FORSTER'S IG : @adogs_hyunme

Story
Hi I’m Bunny. I’m an 8-month-old Jindo mix boy, and I weigh about 10kg—smaller and daintier than most Jindos. People always say I have the purest eyes, but the world still feels a little big and unfamiliar to me. I didn’t get to grow up the way most puppies do. When I was about 3 months old, I was taken to a shelter with my siblings. Instead of learning about the world and playing with humans, I spent my early months behind metal bars, watching the world from a distance. That’s why new places, new sounds, and new people sometimes make me nervous. But… I’m changing. At the training center, I was so shy at first. I would sit quietly, just watching, unsure of what to do. But after a few days, I started wagging my tail when I saw my trainers. I even follow them around for treats and nudge them for pets. Once I trust you, I have so much love to give. I just need someone patient enough to help me feel safe. People always tell me I’m adorable and unique-looking, different from most Jindos. But I hope you don’t choose me just for that. I need someone who understands that love, for me, takes time. At first, I might not come running to you. I might not sit beside you right away. But if you wait for me, if you give me time, one day I’ll come to you on my own—and when I do, it will mean everything. I get along really well with other dogs and love playing with them. I don’t start fights, and I know how to enjoy myself with friends. But with humans, I need a little more time and patience. I’m still learning about potty training—right now, I go outside three times a day, and I’m slowly getting into a routine. I also need extra safety precautions for walks because loud noises scare me, and my strong Jindo instincts might make me try to run back to where I feel safe. Until we build trust, I’ll need a secure double leash and harness when we go outside. I know I might not be the easiest dog at first. But if you choose to wait for me, believe in me, and love me just as I am, I promise I will give you my whole heart in return.

Story
Samuel is a 1-year 6-month-old male Samoyed-Jindo mix, weighing 17 kg. At just six months old, Samuel was placed on the euthanasia list at a city shelter along with his sibling, Yuel. Thankfully, they were both rescued, and he is now staying at our training center, slowly regaining his trust in people and desperately hoping to start a new life with his forever family. Samuel’s personality is very gentle and non-aggressive. However, due to his traumatic past, he tends to be wary of strangers and takes time to warm up to new people. When he first arrived at our training center, he was very shy, but after a few days, he gradually opened up and revealed his naturally sweet and affectionate personality. Because he does not easily approach unfamiliar people and will require ample time and patience to adjust, extra care should be taken during walks to prevent any escape attempts, and household entryways should be securely managed until he fully bonds with his new family. Like a typical Jindo mix, Samuel has an independent streak. However, he also strongly exhibits the Samoyed’s affectionate nature and responsiveness to human connection. Once he builds trust, he expresses deep affection. Samuel gets along well with other dogs and has formed a particularly strong bond with his sibling, Yuel. Since they have spent so much time together, he may experience separation anxiety if they are apart, and this should be considered when adopting. He currently goes outside for bathroom breaks three times a day and enjoys running freely with his canine friends in the exercise yard. However, during the adjustment period in a new home, occasional accidents may occur. Once he settles in, he should quickly adapt to an outdoor potty routine again. It is recommended to start taking him on walks only after he has bonded with his new family. Due to his Jindo mix heritage, he has a strong homing instinct. If he is suddenly taken far away or travels by plane, he may become confused and instinctively try to find his way back home. To prevent this, walks should only begin after he fully recognizes his adopter as family. Even then, a double leash or harness is essential for safety. Samuel still carries emotional scars from his traumatic past and may be shy and cautious at first. However, for those that are willing to endure that initial period and patiently wait for his trust, Samuel will become the most loyal and loving lifelong companion.

Story
I'm a 15kg male Jindo mix with a compact, sturdy frame and a calm, gentle soul. With my chic, elegant features, I might look like a classic Jindo, but personality-wise, I’m all softness and charm. My favourite thing in the world is YOU. Well, humans in general. I warm up pretty quickly, even to strangers—just give me a couple of treats and I’ll be wagging my tail and walking over with a curious smile. I love being near people and quietly hanging out by your side. I'm not really into being picked up or hugged tightly, but I do love soft pets and meaningful moments. If you respect my space and let me come to you in my own time, I promise our bond will grow into something special. I get along well with other dogs, too. I don’t start fights, and I’m usually pretty quiet and mellow. Whether it's in a multi-dog household or out on a walk, I’m just happy to be around without causing any trouble. Speaking of walks—I enjoy them! I like strolling, sniffing around, and taking in the world at my own pace. New places and loud noises can startle me a bit, so I appreciate when my human lets me explore at a calm, steady rhythm. That helps me feel safe. Oh, and a little secret about me? I can be a tiny bit dramatic when I encounter something new or uncomfortable. Nothing serious, just a little overreaction now and then—but I promise it’s part of my charm! I’m still working on my house training. I’ve never really lived inside a home before, so I’m just getting the hang of indoor life. But I’m a very smart, so with patience, consistency, and lots of love, I know I’ll catch on. At heart, I’m a sweet, quiet dog who’s ready to build a lifelong friendship. If you're someone who values gentle companionship and is happy to move at my pace, I think we could be something really special. I'm ready whenever you are. With love, Huchu 🐾
