Hi there I am NalaI am a mature, self confident dog who would love to find a forever home. I live now with other dogs who I love to play with, cats who I respect and play with if they want to, and kids who like to pet me. I have not had much experience with toys, but I do love a good game of tug. I like to be active, but I am good to just chill out with you too. Nothing like an evening of cuddling with the family to make my day complete.I like car rides, I do not get sick, and I stay calm. My foster says I make a great copilot. I know all my basic commands like sit and stay and I love to walk. When I am walking with my foster I stay close and walk at their pace. Meet Mary Ann and Ginger, an adorable bonded pair of medium-sized rescue dogs who are searching for their forever home. These super cute girls have spent their entire lives on their own until they were recently rescued. Despite their rough beginnings, Mary Ann and Ginger are incredibly sweet and are now learning to enjoy the comforts of a loving home. Both Mary Ann and Ginger get along wonderfully with other dogs, though they haven't had the chance to meet any cats yet. They need a patient adopter who will give them the time and space they need to adjust to their new surroundings and discover the joys of being cherished pets. Ginger, who bravely underwent heartworm treatment, is now healthy and heartworm negative. Both dogs are fully vetted, spayed, microchipped, and on preventatives. They even tolerate baths and absolutely love being petted. Currently, Mary Ann and Ginger are being fostered in Seguin, TX, where they are receiving the care and love they deserve. If you have a kind heart and a gentle hand, these two sweethearts will surely reward you with endless affection and loyalty. I am pretty sure my rescuers were HUNGRY when they named us. Cashew is my name and I am as delightful as a sweet n nutty n salty treat. My babies were named after food too! Who names puppies Chicken, Banana and Raisin?? Hungry rescuers! When we were found, we were HUNGRY TOO! We were "living" at a gas station in the 90 to 100 degree temperatures and unbelievable flooding. 🌧 We are SURVIVORS! As mama to this crew I was so very scared for our safety but was also scared of the people helping us... fast forward to today! I love my people and my babies are growing and finding their own homes. It's my turn now! I am a good girl, great size of 30# and a heart full of love and adventure! Adopt me soon!! BELLA had a home and her family surrendered her to a rescue in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. Juno's Den and Huellitas Diferentes decided to help her find a home in the PNW. She is an extremely shy pup initially who needs an experienced handler and someone knowledgeable about her breed. She gets along well with most dogs, but can be selective at times. Therefore, she will do better as an only dog. She is very affectionate and cuddly. Loves to play fetch and run. Bella will do best with an active, all adult family, and a fully fenced yard. She is housebroken and crate trained. She doesn't have separation anxiety but prefers to be around her people. ##2122004##

MEET FRANCO, an adorable but scared 2-year-old French Bulldog/possibly Basenji or Shepherd mix in need of a foster or forever home. Franco is currently housed with his sister Brie, who looks a lot like him and is also scared. They can be adopted separately or apart. They weigh about 35 lbs each. (Their paperwork may say shepherd mix but they both have Frenchie ears.) Both of them are timid/scared of new people, so they need adopters who can be patient and let them come out of their shells and bond to you. Franco is cute as a button and a wonderful medium size. He is currently in California, but can be transported to Washington. Please email for an application.

Retraining will be necessary when she moves to a new environment. * Grooming & Hygiene: Brushing and nail trimming are still unfamiliar to her, but she stays patient and tolerates them well. * Leash Walking: Because she is still settling into the shelter, she has not had outdoor leash walking experience yet. * Motion Sickness: She rides comfortably in the car without any signs of motion sickness. * Biting/Aggression: She has never shown any biting tendencies. * Barking: She has never barked or whined. Guidance and training may be needed once she transitions into a home setting. * Personality: She is still adjusting to her new surroundings, but she is a quiet, calm, and gentle girl.
