BELLA had a home and her family surrendered her to a rescue in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. Juno's Den and Huellitas Diferentes decided to help her find a home in the PNW. She is an extremely shy pup initially who needs an experienced handler and someone knowledgeable about her breed. She gets along well with most dogs, but can be selective at times. Therefore, she will do better as an only dog. She is very affectionate and cuddly. Loves to play fetch and run. Bella will do best with an active, all adult family, and a fully fenced yard. She is housebroken and crate trained. She doesn't have separation anxiety but prefers to be around her people. ##2122004##

Hi there I am NalaI am a mature, self confident dog who would love to find a forever home. I live now with other dogs who I love to play with, cats who I respect and play with if they want to, and kids who like to pet me. I have not had much experience with toys, but I do love a good game of tug. I like to be active, but I am good to just chill out with you too. Nothing like an evening of cuddling with the family to make my day complete.I like car rides, I do not get sick, and I stay calm. My foster says I make a great copilot. I know all my basic commands like sit and stay and I love to walk. When I am walking with my foster I stay close and walk at their pace. Meet Mary Ann and Ginger, an adorable bonded pair of medium-sized rescue dogs who are searching for their forever home. These super cute girls have spent their entire lives on their own until they were recently rescued. Despite their rough beginnings, Mary Ann and Ginger are incredibly sweet and are now learning to enjoy the comforts of a loving home. Both Mary Ann and Ginger get along wonderfully with other dogs, though they haven't had the chance to meet any cats yet. They need a patient adopter who will give them the time and space they need to adjust to their new surroundings and discover the joys of being cherished pets. Ginger, who bravely underwent heartworm treatment, is now healthy and heartworm negative. Both dogs are fully vetted, spayed, microchipped, and on preventatives. They even tolerate baths and absolutely love being petted. Currently, Mary Ann and Ginger are being fostered in Seguin, TX, where they are receiving the care and love they deserve. I am pretty sure my rescuers were HUNGRY when they named us. Cashew is my name and I am as delightful as a sweet n nutty n salty treat. My babies were named after food too! Who names puppies Chicken, Banana and Raisin?? Hungry rescuers! When we were found, we were HUNGRY TOO! We were "living" at a gas station in the 90 to 100 degree temperatures and unbelievable flooding. 🌧 We are SURVIVORS! As mama to this crew I was so very scared for our safety but was also scared of the people helping us... fast forward to today! I love my people and my babies are growing and finding their own homes. It's my turn now! I am a good girl, great size of 30# and a heart full of love and adventure! Adopt me soon!! However, when another dog approaches her to play, she happily responds. * With cats: Has not met any cats yet. * Separation anxiety: Is difficult to assess because she is currently living in a group setting at the center. May need to receive new training after moving to a new environment. * Potty training: Uses a pee pad indoors without accidents. May need to be retrained after moving to a new environment. * Grooming: Has not yet had much experience with grooming, so further observation will be needed. * Walks: Walks well without pulling on the leash. * Car rides: Rides well in the car without motion sickness. * Mouthing/Biting: Has never shown any biting or nipping behavior. * Barking: Has not shown excessive barking, whining, or similar vocalization. * Overall personality: Is calm and gentle. Has a sweet, mild temperament and is very friendly toward people.
