I came from a shelter where I was on the euthanasia list, but I got a second chance when I was transferred here. I’m really grateful to be safe now, and I’m ready to find a home of my own. I’m a Basenji mix and, if I may say so, a very sweet girl. I’ve really come out of my shell and now greet people with lots of tail wags right away! I get along well with other dogs and have done great with everyone I’ve met. I’m a spunky, playful girl who loves attention and interaction. I can get a little bouncy when I’m excited—I may jump and do some playful “love nips,” which is just my way of having fun and showing affection. Because of this, I’d do best with older, considerate kids who understand dog behavior and can help me keep learning good manners. I still have a gentle side and would do well in many different homes. I just need someone kind who will continue to guide me and give me the love I’ve been waiting for. I’m spayed, up to date on all my vaccines, 4dx test negative, protected with ProHeart 12 and Bravecto, and microchipped—so I’m all ready to head home whenever you are. My adoption fee is $400. I’m currently in Texas, but I can travel to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington, KY, and along the East Coast. Watching TV on the couch? He’s curled up beside you showering you with kisses. Bathroom trip? Yep… he’ll probably volunteer as your emotional support puppy there too. Titus is a happy, high-energy boy that loves zoomies and gets so excited he’ll bounce around on his back legs like a tiny kangaroo. He’s playful, goofy, and full of personality. Bones is a high-energy, playful pup who loves to run, play, and stay active. He’s very intelligent and learns new commands quickly, making him a great fit for someone experienced with dogs or excited to continue his training. He’s incredibly loyal and people-oriented, forming strong bonds with his person while still enjoying time with other dogs. Because he was separated from his mom very early, Bones does have some separation anxiety when left alone—he may bark, but he is not destructive. He would do best in a home where someone is around often and can give him plenty of attention and space to play. Bones has been around a 2 and 4 years old before. he does great when people are around watching him to make sure they’re not getting in his face. (as soon as kids start running around, he thinks they’re playing with him and he will want to join in) it is best to monitor him around children untill you feel you can trust him. bones is the biggest cuddly boy & loves to sleep w his person.

Meet White🤍 💙 News & Updates: @_adogs_ 1⃣ Health Status * Neutered: Yes. * Microchipped, and heartworm Negative. * Has received professional dental scaling, but due to severe staining, his teeth may not appear perfectly white. One or two canines are slightly chipped, but since the nerves are not damaged, no immediate treatment is required. 2⃣ Rescue Story * White was rescued from the Juksan dog meat farm. He endured the trauma of witnessing his friends being slaughtered before his eyes until Adogs successfully shut down the farm and brought him to safety. 3⃣ Personality & Traits * Interaction with People: Is a bit shy and tends to cautiously avoid strangers. However, he can be won over with treats! While he stays close to those he knows, he still gets a bit "flighty" when someone reaches out to touch him. If gently cornered, he accepts touch well, and familiar faces can pet him anywhere without issue. Though not yet overtly affectionate, he is slowly opening his heart. We believe he will bond quickly once he settles into a consistent home environment. * Interaction with Dogs: Gets along well with other dogs. We recommend walking in quiet, familiar areas. Doesn't pull on the leash, but may "freeze" or resist moving if he encounters something scary. Needs patient, consistent practice. * Car Rides: Travels well without any motion sickness. * Mouthiness/Biting: Has never shown any defensive or territorial biting. * Barking: Rarely barks, though he sometimes joins in when other dogs bark at visitors. * Likes: Loves treats! His motivation for food often helps him overcome his fear of people. * Dislikes: Is wary and fearful of strangers, vehicles, and unfamiliar external stimuli.
