BELLA had a home and her family surrendered her to a rescue in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. Juno's Den and Huellitas Diferentes decided to help her find a home in the PNW. She is an extremely shy pup initially who needs an experienced handler and someone knowledgeable about her breed. She gets along well with most dogs, but can be selective at times. Therefore, she will do better as an only dog. She is very affectionate and cuddly. Loves to play fetch and run. Bella will do best with an active, all adult family, and a fully fenced yard. She is housebroken and crate trained. She doesn't have separation anxiety but prefers to be around her people. ##2122004##

Hi there I am NalaI am a mature, self confident dog who would love to find a forever home. I live now with other dogs who I love to play with, cats who I respect and play with if they want to, and kids who like to pet me. I have not had much experience with toys, but I do love a good game of tug. I like to be active, but I am good to just chill out with you too. Nothing like an evening of cuddling with the family to make my day complete.I like car rides, I do not get sick, and I stay calm. My foster says I make a great copilot. I know all my basic commands like sit and stay and I love to walk. When I am walking with my foster I stay close and walk at their pace. Personality & Traits * With people: Is not shy around people and accepts calmly cuddles even in the arms of someone she has just met. Makes good eye contact and enjoys physical affection. Is a very gentle and easygoing dog. * With dogs: Gets along well with the other dogs at the center. Rather than actively seeking out other dogs, she prefers to quietly rest on her own. However, when another dog approaches her to play, she happily responds. * With cats: Has not met any cats yet. * Separation anxiety: Is difficult to assess because she is currently living in a group setting at the center. May need to receive new training after moving to a new environment. * Potty training: Uses a pee pad indoors without accidents. May need to be retrained after moving to a new environment. * Grooming: Has not yet had much experience with grooming, so further observation will be needed. * Walks: Walks well without pulling on the leash. * Car rides: Rides well in the car without motion sickness. * Mouthing/Biting: Has never shown any biting or nipping behavior. * Barking: Has not shown excessive barking, whining, or similar vocalization. * Overall personality: Is calm and gentle. Has a sweet, mild temperament and is very friendly toward people.

MEET FRANCO, an adorable but scared 2-year-old French Bulldog/possibly Basenji or Shepherd mix in need of a foster or forever home. Franco is currently housed with his sister Brie, who looks a lot like him and is also scared. They can be adopted separately or apart. They weigh about 35 lbs each. (Their paperwork may say shepherd mix but they both have Frenchie ears.) Both of them are timid/scared of new people, so they need adopters who can be patient and let them come out of their shells and bond to you. Franco is cute as a button and a wonderful medium size. He is currently in California, but can be transported to Washington. Please email for an application.
