Story
Turtle was a lost dog who found me at work. He stayed with us for a few weeks before he went back to his previous home, and then showed up back at our door a few days later and they said we should keep him. We were not necessarily prepared for a dog to join our family but we love him and have been doing our best. However, we are realizing he needs more attention and consistency than we can give. Turtle is a Jindo breed dog. He is a young adult, our guess is 3 or 4 years old. He loves to sniff and explore trails and natural areas, but is NOT trained to be an off-leash dog. As a dog who has spent time on the street, he can be anxious. He does not like to walk on busy streets and is frightened by fireworks etc but does okay with band practice at our house. He is very gentle in almost every situation, but there have been several times he has been stepped on while sleeping and has lashed out and nipped people. We have a kid, so because of this we need to find a new, peaceful home for him.

Story
💛 Hi, I’m Choco! I was rescued from a greenhouse where many dogs like me were being raised to be sold to dog farms. Life there was scary — I was often hurt by the person who owned the place, and I learned to be afraid of people and new things. But now, I’m learning that gentle hands and kind voices exist… and I really want to trust again. At first, I might seem shy or even a little nervous, especially around new people or unfamiliar places. But if you give me time and patience, you’ll see my true self — a soft-hearted, affectionate pup who loves to stay close and show love in quiet, tender ways. 🌿 Health: I’m in good health overall! I’m scheduled for a dental scaling soon. I used to have some tear allergies, but I’m much better now thanks to my special allergy-friendly food. I’m not a picky eater at all — I enjoy my meals! 🐶 Personality & Friends: I enjoy my own space, especially my bed and food, so I’d probably do best as the only dog in the family. But I can get along fine with another calm and gentle friend if we’re introduced slowly. When I feel comfortable, I like to show affection by gently licking my friends. 💛 With People: I take my time to trust. I might be cautious around strangers, especially men, but once I know you’re kind, I’ll become loving, loyal, and very sweet. I won’t rush into cuddles, but if you sit quietly with me, I’ll come closer on my own — and once I do, I’ll melt into your hands. 🚶‍♀️ Walks & Everyday Life: I enjoy calm walks. Sometimes I get startled by loud noises like flapping banners or cars, but I don’t chase cats or birds — I just keep walking. I’m fine wearing a harness, and I don’t pull much once I feel safe. 🏠 Manners & Habits: I can go to the bathroom both indoors and outdoors. If there’s a pee pad available, I’ll use it when needed. I don’t bark much, I don’t have separation anxiety, and I sleep peacefully on my own bed at night. I also travel well in cars — no motion sickness for me! 🐾 My Dream: I’m a quiet soul who’s learning that love can be safe. I hope to find a family who will give me the time, patience, and gentle care I need to fully blossom. I may take a little while to trust, but once I do, I’ll love you with all my heart — forever. With love, Choco 🤎🐕‍🦺

Story
Bruno is a one-year-old male Jindo mix with a friendly and cheerful personality. Weighing approximately 16 kg, he has the typical appearance of a Jindo, with an attractive face and an incredibly handsome appearance. As a puppy, Bruno was rescued in a severely malnourished and emaciated state after suffering from abuse and neglect. His condition was truly heartbreaking. However, with consistent love and care, he has transformed into a strong and healthy dog. Despite his difficult past, Bruno has never lost his cheerful spirit or his love for people. He enjoys human touch and often approaches people, seeking affection. He has little to no wariness of strangers, making him an open and friendly dog who quickly approaches people he has never met before. He generally gets along well with other dogs. However, he tends to play a little rough, particularly with his smaller friends. This behavior likely stems from his lack of proper socialization as a puppy. Due to his painful early life, he never had the chance to learn how to interact properly with other dogs. Bruno is now staying at a training center, where he is improving his social skills through daily interactions with various dogs. However, as he bonds deeply with his adopter and develops a strong sense of attachment, his love for people could manifest as jealousy or a protective instinct and this may lead to conflicts with other dogs. This is not because he has an aggressive nature, but rather because he loves people so much. Therefore, his adopter must provide clear and consistent training so that Bruno can continue to improve and grow into a great companion. Currently, Bruno goes outside for bathroom breaks three times a day and enjoys running freely with other dogs in the exercise yard. However, after adoption, he may have accidents due to environmental changes and adjustment periods. Once he becomes familiar with his new home, he should quickly adapt to an outdoor potty routine again. Bruno’s striking appearance is undeniable, but what truly makes him special is his warm heart and bright energy. He has overcome past hardships and grown into a strong, happy dog. Now, he is waiting for a loving adopter who will become his forever family.
