weight 32 age 6 adoption donation $399   Toby is the sweetest boy! Very chill, very gentle and loving. Toby gets along great with other dogs, he’s fine with cats, he’s good with kids. He’s just an absolute love bug.   Toby showed up at a  house one day in a rural part of northern Mississippi, Wags looked for an owner, but no one came asking for him. Toby  settled in right away, he loves to follow his Foster Mom around and snuggle up with the other dogs. He’s just a gentle love bug .    Toby will be neutered on May 2 and then he will be ready for family who would give him the love and attention he deserves   For more information please email mariaeftimiades@yahoo.com  April 26, 2024, 5:52 pm

Story
Looking for a forever home for our 15 month old beagle / lab mix Twix, asap. He is ~55 lbs medium build. We can provide his crate. Unfortunately, he sheds hair and our family has allergies issues. He got all his shots up to date and is house broken. Also, he does demonstrate at times resource guarding; he might need some training in this respect. He loves to play, super fun and lovable; I've lost 10 lbs "walking" him. He would be a great addition to a family; ideally with older kids that can keep up with him and have a fenced yard.

Story
Wilbur is a sweet 5 month old puppy and he is very much ready for a home of his home. He is snuggly, smart, and eager to please. He gets along very well with other dogs, has never met a stranger, and we honestly think he is pretty much perfect. During a routine exam our vet noticed that he had a heart murmur. After further testing it was determined that the murmur is a congenital defect and the symptoms can be managed with daily medication. He currently takes pimobendan twice a day and is doing well, but his condition will likely result in a shortened life expectancy. Wilbur feels fine now and would like nothing more than to be in a home of his own being loved and doing normal puppy things, and we want that for him very much. We know it will take some special people to adopt a pup with a condition like this, but we know his family is out there and we know he deserves the very best. If you think you might be the home for this very special pup, we would love to answer your questions and tell you more about Wilbur. Wilbur~meet me! is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. This dog has tested negative for heartworms. The adoption fee is $450 if your adoption is prepaid and final prior to your dog's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged on dogs that are picked up from our Southbury CT adoption center, adopted at an event, or foster home. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with CT HB 5368. WANT TO MEET OUR DOGS IN PERSON? Check the Events tab on cprdogs.com for all weekend adoption event info. The majority of the dogs marked as 'meet me' will be there to see you! If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 11 am-1 pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05. TO APPLY PLEASE GO TO www.cprdogs.com. If your application was successfully submitted you will get a confirmation. Please DO NOT USE the ADOPTAPET "CONTACT THIS RESCUE GROUP" form below or you may not hear from us as these often end up in spam or bouncing back. After receipt of your application, an adoption counselor will then be in touch to answer your questions about this pup, discuss the adoption process and get the ball rolling! If you have not heard from one of our volunteers within 5 days of submitting your application, please email mollibo@gmail.com.
