I adopted Buddy about two years ago before my daughter went to college. At the shelter where we adopted him he was very calm, sitting patiently in his pen. We were looking for a low energy dog as I am getting older and mobility is an issue. About three days after we adopted him he was in the hospital in intensive care with a significant respiratory illness, that is why he was low energy. Since getting healthy he is not the couch potato i was looking for. His activity level is average but just not what I can do. I think he would be much happier in a household with children and just more going on. He’s a very good boy very food motivated and very sweet. I want the best life for him.

Looking for a loving home for Sophie. She is a 9-year-old Beagle/Jack Russell mix who is looking for a loving forever home. Unfortunately, due to my circumstances I am no longer able to give Sophie the quality of life and attention she deserves. Sophie deserves a home where she can be comfortable, happy, and get the time and attention she needs. Sophie is potty trained, very well behaved, affectionate, and loves being around people. She is a sweet, loyal girl who would make a wonderful companion for the right person or family. My biggest priority is finding her a safe and loving home. Mimi is a wonderful, loving, energetic dog of 11years! She loves to hug and be with her humans. We rescued her as a puppy and know that she is part beagle but unsure what else. She’s always been groomed by a wonderful professional groomer who comes to our home, and does well with being cared for. I’m facing a large medical procedure that will keep us out of state for part of this year and we have no family or friends willing to care for her. We do not want to rehome her, but we cannot take her with us and we’d never board her for the time away, would rather her be in a new loving home.
