Story
I adopted him From a breeder in Missouri. He is a purebred beagle With papers, in good health. He is Referred to as a “lemon”. He is a very loving and loyal dog, and approximately one and a half years old. I believe he would do well in a home with a family and especially with a Male. He is very good with children. Beagles are known to be very hardheaded, but loving. Beagles also love to run so you have to be careful. not to put him in an environment where he can get away. Naturally, he loves to track Because he has a very acute sense of smell. He is good with my cat, but I don’t know about other cats. The only reason I am re-homing him is because I am relocating to a home where I cannot have a dog. This is very hard for me. I want to make sure he is going to an owner Or family that takes good care of him, and he is happy. As far as housebroken goes, if he’s taken out on a regular schedule, he will urinate outside. But on occasion he does defecate in the house.

Story
Hi, I'm Chloe! I'm a 6-year-old, 24-pound Beagle. My ideal family would be the family from the Sound of Music, but with more dogs and cats. I'm a social butterfly who absolutely loves kids and four-legged friends. And I'm ready to climb every mountain until I can find my forever family!  Favorite Things: Although Chloe is a quiet, calm girl at home, she has lots of energy and loves to run on 'walks'. For her, the only thing better than a walk is seeing kids while out and about: she starts wagging and wiggling when she spots any human on walks and wants to meet them. She is very confident and wants to be everyone's friend. She's not big on toys, but she loves snacks, treats, faux bones, and Publix frozen marrow bones. Training & Manners: Chloe is a little lady! She is housetrained when let out frequently. She is generally well behaved on car rides and can sleep in the people bed or in a dog bed at night. She just needs more practice walking (rather than sprinting) while on the leash. Health & Care: Chloe is spayed, heartworm negative and up to date on vaccinations. She is currently on prescription food, and the cost of that food is equivalent to other quality dog food.  Of course, she'll also need her monthly flea and heart preventatives, like any dog.  As a Beagle, she should not need much elaborate grooming. Other Animals: Chloe adores other animals. She loves other dogs, from Great Danes to small bulldogs, and she is currently in a foster home with six cats. She seems to be comforted by having other pets around. Children: Chloe loves children of all ages.  Ideal Home: Due to her energy levels and ability to run quickly, Chloe would do well in a single-family home with a securely fenced yard. She has a powerful beagle bark, too, although she does not use it much.  Overall: Chloe is a treasure for someone with other pets and a lot of love to give. Is Chloe the cuddly cutie you've been looking for? Then visit www.PoodleandPoochRescue.org to fill out an adoption application. If it seems like it could be a good match, her foster family will reach out with more information. Her adoption donation is $375. ##2508522##

Story
IMPORTANT: Dylan needs a VERY special home, please read all information before applying.  Dylan is an 8 year old Beagle mix. Dylan has some very significant anxiety and needs a home with no other pets and no children. She will need an experienced, patient adopter that is willing to do multiple meetings to build trust with her and able and willing to participate in training (we will provide it at no cost!). We know there has to be a special home out there for this special girl. She is housebroken, crate trained and well behaved at home with the people she knows, trusts and feels safe with.  Dylan is spayed and current on vaccines. Her adoption fee is $150 and she receives: free dog training support for life (including our fun group classes!), 30 days of health insurance through MetLife for pets and a free bath, nail trim and ear cleaning from our friends at Scenthound.  Please fill out an application so we can get to know you better and a member of our team will reach out to answer questions. We do NOT house dogs at our office, all of our dogs live with volunteer foster families in the community so appointments are required to meet and adopt. ##2598206##
