Her name is Charisma. One of the sweetest dogs you’ll ever meet, but very hyper/anxious. She likes to cuddle in bed at night and hog a lot of the space. She needs a big yard for her to run around mindlessly and exert her energy. She is crate trained and potty trained but will have accidents on occasion in new areas/if not tended to quickly enough. She’s not much of a chewer, rarely chews on furniture or shoes or etc, but has happened before out of boredom. She’s a lot to deal with but she also gives intense amounts of love and affection.

He's a friendly boy who was dropped off at a Louisiana shelter as a stray and he is so happy to be in his foster home! Matty wants to hang out with his humans and be a part of whatever is going on. He loves to cuddle and will do anything for food, including stealing it when you aren’t looking. Housetraining is improving. He does well in a crate. Once his foster parents started feeding him in his crate and giving him treats there, he was eager to jump right in. He is mostly quiet, even in the crate. He doesn’t bark unless he's helping the other dogs defend the yard, but even then he is not the instigator. And Matty is good with other dogs, even if they bark and growl at him. He isn’t intimidated, he just keeps going. He loves stuffed toys but occasionally he will get hold of something that isn’t a toy. He is still learning that part of being in a house. If you want a true beagle, he is exactly what you're looking for. Matty was treated for heartworm in March. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.ADOPTION PENDINGPeaches was a homeless beagle in an Alabama shelter. She looked sad and very skinny in her picture and we can tell that she was most likely used for breeding and has had many litters. She has put on some weight but we'd like her to put on a little more. There's no problem there because Peaches loves food and does a happy dance at every eating occasion. (Please see video below.) The couch is her favorite place to sleep and her foster mom loves to hear her snore. Other dogs really make peaches happy and she has done really great with the other dog in her foster home. They play well together and Peaches is very good at sharing her toys. We'd very much hope for another dog in her forever home. She has also been with a cat and showed no interest in bothering her, she does not seem to have any prey drive. She does enjoy meeting new people but can still be a little nervous and crouch down when they reach for her. Her foster mom had an opportunity to see her interact with children in the age range of 5 to 8. She was a bit nervous at the beginning but she loved the pats from them. Peaches is very good on leash and is currently doing well with house training, as long as she is taken outside regularly. Her foster mom has has rarely crated and only for about an hour with the door shut, but when they need to leave her alone she does fine in the kitchen behind a baby gate. She has her daily zoomies but otherwise Peaches has a pretty chill energy level. She does love to be outside and is confident and curious to explore. He definitely needs another playful dog and he's having a blast with the other young boy in his foster home. They have a great time sharing toys and romping about. Please see videos below. Finn loves going to the dog park and showing off his running speed, and hâ°e also loves the water. One day the pool was not available so our silly boy climbed into a water bucket. Finn does still have a few puppy traits. He will go after shoes... even when you are wearing them... he puts his feet on the counter to investigate... and he likes rugs and blankets. But foster mom is a good trainer and Finn is starting to understand 'no' when he gets into those things. When Finn is left at home alone he is in his crate. He does cry for a bit but settles down pretty quick and he doesn't destroy anything in the crate. He sleeps quietly in his crate at bedtime. Finn definitely has a high prey drive and will chase squirrels and is definitely not good with cats. His foster mom is teaching him he can't chase squirrels on the leash, but it's a work in progress. He's not a big eater and not very food motivated (toys work better). At this point in his very young life he seems to relate more with other dogs than with people, but that could change over time. He mostly asks for affection when he sees his foster brother, Jasper is getting lots of attention. We think Finn may possibly be really good at agility. His prey drive might transfer well to stuffed toys but currently he is deprived of those as they are just not allowed in the home because of the other dog absolutely destroying them. She easily made friends with the other dog and was happy to meet new people. Her personality is very straightforward and low key. She is quite independent and not needy. Gemma was fostered for a few months in Mississippi and her foster there reported the same comfortable eadiness about her. We don’t know about Gemma with cats and kids, but she has been calm and companionable with other dogs. She does not appear to have a prey drive - squirrels and rabbits don’t interest her but she does like to play with toys and she is okay sharing her toys with other dogs. Gemma is very affectionate and enjoys snuggling and cuddling. If other dogs are getting attention, she does want in on the action, but is not pushy. Her house training has been excellent, and so far she has done just fine with being left alone for periods of time in a gated area. She’s very quiet and does not bark often, but when foster mom and dad return home, suggest a walk or she knows it is treat time, Gemma has the cutest little excited whine. Her foster mom has not crated Gemma and at night she sleeps on the couch. She does well on leash but she would love to have a fenced yard with trees and bushes where she could explore off leash so.
