Story
If you would like to apply to take MAXIEN home, click the link next to their picture, or Visit our website at Www.godogsgorescue.org and fill out an application! We look forward to hearing from you. This little one came from a hoarding situation, we are estimating to be somewhere between 6-7 years old. Being taken out of that situation when it’s all you’ve ever known is a bit of an adjustment, they have just gone into foster homes, and with patience and a bit of time we are confident they can adjust into a normal life. None of the dogs were nippy, just nervous. With this in mind we would recommend no small children or hectic households. They are all used to other dogs and a confident doggy companion in the home would be great. Apply now will be available to go home mid February

Story
Boone is a once in a lifetime dog! He's like the coolest little guy with intelligent eyes, a bit of swagger, and charm!   Found in a hoarding case involving 36 other dogs, he has really seen it all. He's adjusted well to living in a foster home. Kind of like a duck to water. Boone enjoys long lazy day naps, car rides, and snacky-snacks! Speaking of snacks, he is very gentle taking a treat, but needs to be fed separately from other dogs. We imagine he probably had to compete for food in his former environment.   He play well with other dogs and gets along great with cats. He does well with older children. Boone is crate trained, but he has a tendency to mark with other male dogs are in the house, so we use a belly band. He is heartworm negative and up-to-date on all his vaccinations. He has been neutered and has a microchip. he has great manners and is beyond the chewing stage. Currently he is being fostered in Arkansas, but transport is available to New England. His adoption fee is $350, which includes transportation ##2559643##
