Story
PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet. 9/16/23 Still available!Dolly is a cute little coon hound mux who was born in rescue on 3/14/23. Her little mama was a homeless, scared stray who had to be trapped and had her babies within a few days of getting to her foster home. Mama is an average size dog (about 40lbs) who is very mixed. We believe Dolly is a Black and Tan Coonhound mix. She will likely be larger than her mom. We expect she will be at least 60 lbs when grown. Dolly and her siblings are sweet babies. They are a little bit shy like their mama, but they love to be held and cuddled and they respond to kindness quickly. They are just good little mixed breed babies who need families of their own. Located in Arkansas, but transport is available. Adopter must be able to pick up or arrange for someone to pick up for them at one of the following times/locations. Harrisburg, PA 2am Fridays Port Jervis, NJ 5am Fridays Southington, CT 8am Fridays East Hartford, CT 11am Fridays To apply, please fill out the adoption app: https://form.jotform.com/212690945239059 Message or email apps.aasr@gmail.com with any questions. Story
So, Gambit is my name, and like my Marvel/ X-Man character- I have a way to create my own destiny- all is within my own power!!! I have had kind of a sad past but my future's so bright! I was saved from a pretty scary place- living alone in a field, next to the gas station where nice people fed me and tried to save me.... Luckily, one of those nice people was persistent AND resourceful and she played her "pawn" to get me into a trap and got me out of that horrible place! I have been living with her and her doggy (and human) family since, but I am really ready for my own family! Look at my video, I am sure cute (only 28#) and super adoptable! There are a few things you need to know about me, I am a happy go lucky boy- as long as you don't get into my face or try to give me kisses. I am protective of my face so an adult only or very knowledgeable older kids in my home is best. I am also kind of a goofball and I love other dogs. I take time to get to know you and get comfortable in my home, so please do not apply to adopt me unless you understand that I will not be your bestest friend immediately- I am most definitely worth the wait :) I have all kinds of love and loyalty to give you, so I hope to meet you soon!!! I am house and crate trained too- see? young dogs CAN learn new tricks :) Local adoption fee is $200 ( in Texas only)
