Story
Esther is a 25 lb, ~2-year-old independent, easygoing dog who keeps herself entertained and doesn’t need constant attention to thrive. Great with dogs of all sizes, has been around cats, and loves water. She’s a fun, low-maintenance companion for someone who appreciates a more self-sufficient dog. Esther is affectionate on her terms and happiest in a home that enjoys companionship without needing a constant shadow. Another video: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/yELsX2DYnM0 Good fit: someone who wants an easygoing, independent dog who can entertain herself but still enjoys connection. Story
Cassie, a beagle mix, is one of over forty dogs rescued from a hoarding case in El Paso, AR. Despite entering our program as a shy girl, she has made great strides in just the last couple of months.  Cassie is very sweet and affectionate. She gravitate more towards women and likes children. She is a great couch potato in the house loves to lay around and cuddle…get her outside and she will run the yard like a greyhound!   She is doing really well…kennel trained, probably 90% potty trained we haven’t had an accident in like a week!  She gets along great with all the other dogs.  Cassie‘s a medium sized dog at under 30 pounds. Great size for an apartment or small house living. Local adoption fee for Cassie is $175. It is higher for New England based on the cost of transport and health certificate for interstate travel, so total cost is $400.  ##2763582##

PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.Courtesy listing. In New England  Autumn——Sweet sweet girl.   If you’re looking for an in your pocket kinda girl look no further.    She loves to be with her humans probably even more than her love of food!  (And that is a lot ) Loves to take walks and use her beagle senses , does very well on a leash .   But her nose does require her to have a fenced in yard.  Gets along great with other dogs, cats and even bunnies.   She does great with kids but probably best with older kids only because she will probably steal the littles snacks (never in a mean way)  She has gained so much confidence and only looks for guidance and support.   She loves being a good girl and looks for ways to please any way she can.  She would highly benefit from having another dog in the home to help with her confidence and to help her feel secure. She’s about 4 years old. Housebroken , knows how to sit and is the best lap warmer you could ask for!  Fully vetted. In New England. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.We have DNA results from Pico’s brother! Email to see the results but it includes Beagle, American Pit Bull Terrier, Chihuahua, Pug, Rat Terrier, Boxer, and Dachshund. He is the last of his litter available! His mom is an 8 pound Chihuahua mix. We don’t know who/what dad was other than what we’ve got from the DNA results, but we believe he was bigger than mom.  Pico is very long and low. He is only about 6 pounds currently. We originally thought he might get to 30-35 pounds but now we’re thinking maybe 20 full grown? Hard to say for sure. He was born 2/21/26. He is sweet and playful. Good with dogs, cats, and kids. He enjoys playing outside and after a quick zoomie, he’s ready to relax in the sun. More details from his foster mom- He does well with little kids (has spent time with a 1 year old) but i do think he would be happier with older kids/adults who would not chase him around so much. He sleeps all night in bed with me, a superb cuddler. During the work day he is ok in the crate. Potty training he mostly goes outside, but if I hurry him he will still poop the world's tiniest poop in the house. He'd be fine as an only dog or with playmates. He loves the cats, had a massive wiggle attack when the cat finally let him sniff her. Pico is a really sweet little pup! He is teething right now so he loves to chew fingers and toys alike. Does bark randomly, but not excessively : ) He is neutered, UTD on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. In New England. Their mom is a chihuahua mix and dad is a beagle mix. She is an absolutely precious, happy, friendly, cuddly puppy. If you want a sweet puppy that won't get very big, she is a good choice. I believe she will be in the 20-30 lbs range. She is currently about 13 weeks old. Good with cats, dogs, and kids. More info from her foster mom-Tofu is an absolute sweetheart. She loves to cuddle. She warmed up to the large dogs very quickly. We are working on house training. She walks fairly well on the leash. She doesn’t pull but just seems more unsure why the leash is attached to her. She was curious about the puppy pool today when I was filling it but had no interest in getting in. In New England. She is spayed, UTD on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.
