Story
Meet Louie — also known as “Fat Louie” or “Bubba Dog” He is courtesty post and is not under Spotty Dog Rescue's care currently, we are assisting Meredith with finding him a new home.  Please contact Meredith merleiso34@gmail.com or  860-682-3735 for more information if you can help. Some dogs come into your life quietly and slowly steal your whole heart. Louie is one of those dogs. His current human took him in about 2 years ago and he is part of the family. Now her landlord is selling the building and the new owner says all pets must go. She cannot afford to move, so she had to make the heartbreaking decision to find Louie a new home. IT IS WRONG! She has tried to negotiate, and failed. Louie needs a savior and we are hoping to help him find it. At about 10 years old and 50 pounds of pure lovable tank, Louie has mastered the art of being the perfect companion. He’s the kind of dog who just wants to be near his people, curled up next to you, tucked under the blankets, or riding shotgun on your next car ride adventure. Louie is also a social butterfly. He absolutely loves the dog park, enjoys meeting new dogs, and is wonderful with children. He’s even fine with cats! If your home already has furry or tiny humans, Louie is more than happy to join the family. Louie is a bit of a foodie… actually, let’s be honest — he’s a BIG foodie. Louie currently enjoys home-cooked meals of ground turkey, mixed veggies, and a little sweet potato or rice. (Yes, he probably eats better than most of us!) He’ll happily snack on bananas, carrots, and blueberries, but fair warning, Louie is clever and sneaky when it comes to unattended plates. If there’s food around, Bubba Dog will try to negotiate a taste! He came to his current home already trained with a beeper collar and has done wonderfully with it. He’s a smart boy who understands his boundaries and has never had an issue using it. What makes Louie extra special however is his personality. He is incredibly funny, affectionate and loves to cuddle. One of his most adorable habits is standing up on his hind legs when you sing to him or when he’s hoping for a treat. It’s impossible not to smile — and even harder not to give him what he wants. Like many senior dogs, Louie has a couple small quirks. He can be a bit of a whiner when he’s hoping for food. He also does not love his nails being cut, but the right person with some confidence can get the job done. But what Louie gives in return is priceless:loyalty, warmth, laughter, and the comfort of a dog who truly just wants to love and be loved. Louie is entering his golden years, and what he needs most now is a home where he can relax, be spoiled, and spend his days doing what he loves best — cuddling, snacking, and being part of a family. If you’re looking for a gentle, funny, affectionate companion who will make your house feel warmer the moment he walks in, Louie may be your perfect match. Give this sweet “Bubba Dog” the soft landing he deserves. Please contact Meredith merleiso34@gmail.com or  860-682-3735 ##2681211##

Story
Woof is a very energetic dog, he is very playful and is a sweet dog. He has been known to get overly excited around other dogs that can be perceived as aggressive but he is not an aggressive dog. He loves kids but is clumsy when trying to play with them. He does not understand his own strength so he will knock them down. He loves to run and has a really good appetite. He has not been fully trained but he does have some training. He will sit on command , He will wait until he is told to eat. He is also kind of anxious, so he will sometimes get into mess. Like chewing articles that he should not be chewing on although this is rare he has done it. I give him chew toys so that he doesn't feel compelled to chew things which helps greatly. Understand that this is a hard decision to make giving up woof, I have had him for 3 years But my grandsons; are allergic to dogs and are autistic so it isn't a good thing to have Woof around them it increases their sensory issues.

Story
Bailey has the face of a Beagle and the legs of a gazelle. He is trained to use a pet door and has been accident-free since arriving here. He's a sweet little boy that needs a family who will help boost his confidence. We think he's around 2 years old and he is healthy and ready to travel now. He seems to be afraid of men so a home with females or smaller quiet males would be best for him and another friendly dog would also help him feel more comfortable. If you're interested in welcoming Bailey or any of our Funny Farm friends into your home, please visit funnyfarmpets.org to learn more about our Tennessee-based rescue, the adoption process, the comprehensive vetting procedures these pets undergo before they come to your home, and to submit an adoption application. The adoption fee for this pet is $325, and an additional $200 is required for transport. Currently located in a foster home in Tennessee, this pet will be transported to a northern location after the adoption process is finalized. For details on meeting locations and the transport process, please visit the transport tab at funnyfarmpets.org

Story
Cameo is a 2-month-old, 6-pound baby boy with the sweetest, most loving personality. He and his seven siblings were heartbreakingly dumped in a box on the side of a busy street, dangerously close to traffic and only moments away from tragedy before they were rescued. Despite such a scary start to life, Cameo is incredibly affectionate, cuddly, and trusting. He melts into people the second he’s picked up and is happiest curled up close, soaking in all the love and safety he missed out on before. He’s a gentle little soul with playful puppy energy, endless sweetness, and so much love to give. Cameo is ready to leave his difficult beginning behind and find the forever family he’s been waiting for.

Story
PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.Courtesy listing. In New England  Autumn——Sweet sweet girl.   If you’re looking for an in your pocket kinda girl look no further.    She loves to be with her humans probably even more than her love of food!  (And that is a lot ) Loves to take walks and use her beagle senses , does very well on a leash .   But her nose does require her to have a fenced in yard.  Gets along great with other dogs, cats and even bunnies.   She does great with kids but probably best with older kids only because she will probably steal the littles snacks (never in a mean way)  She has gained so much confidence and only looks for guidance and support.   She loves being a good girl and looks for ways to please any way she can.  She would highly benefit from having another dog in the home to help with her confidence and to help her feel secure. She’s about 4 years old. Housebroken , knows how to sit and is the best lap warmer you could ask for!  Fully vetted. In New England.
