Story
Meet Peppermint Patty (Peanuts litter), an ADORABLE 8 week old female beagle mix puppy, born to mama Lucy! Lucy was found in a tree stump in east TN with her four newborn puppies, left to fend for themselves. Lucy and pups were rescued and placed in a loving foster home, and the whole family is now ready to find their furever homes!  Peppermint Patty (the only girl in the litter) has a gorgeous and unique chocolate/blonde brindle and white coat. She is a typical happy, playful puppy who loves everyone! Good with dogs, cats, people, and kids. Young puppies are like blank slates who, with proper training and socialization, will grow into wonderful dogs. She is medically up to date (age appropriate), and working on crate training/housebreaking. Peppermint Patty would make a wonderful addition to any family! Apply to meet this sweet, lovable pup today!  Click HERE for Adoption Application: pawsrescueleague.org/adopt Adoption fees vary based on the dog and are not negotiable. As a small rescue that does not receive government funding or grants, we rely on adoption fees to stay afloat. Adoption fees help cover the following: vaccinations, wellness exams, heartworm/4DX testing, parasite prevention, spay/neuter (age-appropriate), microchipping, transport expenses, and other rescue-related overhead/administrative costs. Paws Rescue League, Inc is an all-inclusive rescue that does NOT only rescue puppies and young, healthy dogs.  We make a point to also rescue seniors, dogs with special needs, moms, and other “less desirable” dogs, knowing that we will likely incur higher veterinary expenses and that these dogs may take longer to get adopted.  As such, an individual adoption fee is not only reimbursing PRL for expenses directly related to that dog, but it is also helping us to continue our mission of taking in dogs that would otherwise be too much of a financial burden to save. We believe that ALL dogs deserve a second chance. Thank you for your support and understanding! ##2442570##

Story
Meet Sugar, a super sweet 8 month old female beagle/shepherd mix, weighing about 25 lbs currently! Sugar is one of the Spice litter pups born to mama Nutmeg on 11/8/2024. Nutmeg and all of the other pups in the litter have been adopted, but Sugar is still waiting for her furever home. We don't understand how this special girl keeps getting overlooked   Sugar is a shy girl who takes a little time to warm up to new people, but once she does, she is a total sweetheart! She needs someone patient to help her build her confidence, and she would love to have a doggo sibling to show her the ropes! Sugar is good with other dogs, people, and kids. She has not been cat tested, so we are unsure how she would do with cats. She is medically up to date (awaiting spay appointment, will be spayed prior to adoption), housebroken, and crate trained. Apply to meet this darling girl today!  Click HERE for Adoption Application: pawsrescueleague.org/adopt Adoption fees vary based on the dog and are not negotiable. Story
This adorable litter of 9 puppies was found abandoned in the country on July 5th. They were starving, scared, covered in fleas and ticks and suffering from an infection. Thankfully a very nice family found them and took them in and cleaned them up and got them food and water and a safe place to stay until rescue could be found. They are so sweet, funny and playful and are true Heinz 57 pups. A couple of the apps we use have said they look like Beagle, Dachshund, Feist, Heeler, Aust. Shep, Hound mixes. If you are ready to add a pure MUTT with lots of potential to your home please apply to adopt at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FFRR/Dog THESE PUPS ARE FOSTERED IN TENNESSEE AND WILL TRAVEL ONCE THEIR ADOPTIONS ARE FINALIZED. You can read all about them and the rest of our adoptable pets at funnyfarmpets.org and how the adoption and transport process works. They will be fully vetted, healthy and ready to travel to their forever homes the 2nd weekend in August if all continues to go as planned. We estimate they were born in May. ADOPTION FEE IS $399 If transport is required there will be an additional $200 fee

Story
Bailey has the face of a Beagle and the legs of a gazelle. He is trained to use a pet door and has been accident-free since arriving here. He's a sweet little boy that needs a family who will help boost his confidence. We think he's around 2 years old and he is healthy and ready to travel now. He seems to be afraid of men so a home with females or smaller quiet males would be best for him and another friendly dog would also help him feel more comfortable. If you're interested in welcoming Bailey or any of our Funny Farm friends into your home, please visit funnyfarmpets.org to learn more about our Tennessee-based rescue, the adoption process, the comprehensive vetting procedures these pets undergo before they come to your home, and to submit an adoption application. The adoption fee for this pet is $325, and an additional $200 is required for transport. Currently located in a foster home in Tennessee, this pet will be transported to a northern location after the adoption process is finalized. For details on meeting locations and the transport process, please visit the transport tab at funnyfarmpets.org
