While he may not ribbit- this boy can definitely hop! Frogger is a 1 year old beagle/Australian shepherd cross. He is cute as can be just as much fun!Frogger absolutely loves other dogs. He does great with dogs of all sizes and ages. He, obviously, prefers a wrestling buddy but is equals happy with a snuggle buddy! He is pretty indifferent to the cats in his foster home. He is good with the kids in his foster family. He is great in his crate and the house.Frogger is a really fun, active, and smart boy that needs a family that willing and able to keep his brain and his body active. He is a champion runner and is a great training companion. He also would make a phenomenal working dog- obedience, tracking, agility, rally - the possibilities are endless!Frogger is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his vaccinations. He has also tested negative for heartworm disease. His adoption fee is $450.00 plus sales tax. Please submit an adoption application if you would like to meet this fun guy!

Snapshot of Erika: Size? Small Activity Level? Average Noise Level? Average Good with Dogs? Yes Good with Cats? Unknown Good with Kids? Unknown Good with Strangers? Yes Potty Trained? Yes Crate Trained? Yes Shedding? Moderate About Erika: Hi, my name is Erika. I'm a playful 2 year old female terrier mix. I'm blind in one eye from either a birth defect or an old injury. It doesn't bother me, and I think makes me look pretty cool. I have a slight limp on my front left leg that the vets think is a ligament or tendon injury that I take a joint supplement and pain medication for as needed. I'm so full of love and I want to be friends with every person and dog I meet! I love playing with my toys and I am able to entertain myself, but I love playing with my foster humans too. I do forget what is and isn't a toy sometimes - but I'm learning. I like to fetch even though I'm not 100% at bringing the ball back, I just want to keep it for myself sometimes because it's so fun! My ideal forever home would be one where I'm not alone for long periods of time. I'd get regular play sessions and walks, and I'm with people who appreciate my endless snuggles and kisses! I'd be happy in a home with or without another dog. I can't wait to meet you! Erika is fixed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations for her age. Story
Introducing Gambit - the name's not just a coincidence; it's a testament to my ability to shape my destiny. Just like my Marvel/X-Men namesake, I've overcome my past and now look forward to a brilliantly bright future. My journey started in a rather somber place - a lonely field next to a gas station. Thankfully, kind souls would drop by, leaving me food and their hopes for a better life. One day, a persistent and resourceful lady decided to play her "pawn" and orchestrated my escape from that grim existence. Since then, I've been living with her and her doggy (and human) family. But now, I'm eagerly searching for my own forever family. Let's talk quirks. I'm a cheerful guy, but I've got some personal space boundaries. I'm protective of my face, so a home with adults or older, dog-savvy kids is my ideal match. I'm also a bit of a goofball and adore the company of other dogs. Now, I might not instantly become your best buddy; I take time to trust and get comfortable in my surroundings. But trust me, the patience will be worth it. I'm brimming with love and loyalty, just waiting for the right family to share it with. Here's the good news - I'm house and crate trained, proving that, yes, young dogs can indeed learn new tricks. Oh, and there's more - I'm pretty chill around cats, though a gentle introduction is wise. And I've been curious and respectful around a human baby, so that's a plus. One thing to note, though, is that I've had some reservations around men. Despite two years together, I haven't quite warmed up to my human's fianc and have snapped at him a few times. So, it might be best if I find a home without men. During a short stay with Kathy, I was a little shy but kept to myself. If you're looking for a loyal companion with a dash of X-Men flair and you're ready to give me the chance I deserve, let's make it happen. I can't wait to meet you and start this exciting new chapter together! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX)

Payday is the best day of the week! Something to look forward to and will always give you that warm, fuzzy feeling. Luckily, with me, you don't have to wait long. I'll be right at your side FULL! SPEED! AHEAD! Payday is also a candy bar with lots of nuts. I think I was named after that one because I'm NUTS too! Not the puppy making kind though, those nuts are long gone. I'm NUTS like kooky, silly, crazy! I have a lot of energy and love to zooooom, wrestle with my puppy pals, and will still play with toys even when I'm alone. I would love an active home to keep me busy and out of mischief. Even though my name is Payday, foster mom calls me THE FLEA...how rude. She says because I'm small, dark, and I can JUMP way higher than you think these short legs would launch me. Yes, I jump A LOT. Small children, beware. 3-4 foot fences, NO PROBLEM! I may have that "low-rider look, but that doesn't hold me back from getting where I want to go. Foster mom is trying to teach me not to jump so much and also not to rush out the door. I just want adventure! While I am learning new skills, I already have a lot of training down pact. I am fine in a crate and am house trained. I also do well on a leash and in the car. All the better to take me down the road for a pup cup or out to the country for a nice, fun hike. If you love PAYDAY, whether it's the day of the week or the candy bar, I'm here and READY FOR YOU! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area, $50 temporary fuel fee will be included)

Story
WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Sarah - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! Sarah from the Hebrew origins means 'Princess'. What a dream come true, being YOUR princess!! I could totally get on board being treated like a princess, you know, like being spoiled rotten with lots of belly rubs and ear and under the chin scratches and whoa if you threw in some treats that'd just be the bomb...a life of a princess!! I am a total sweetheart of around 8 years, that was pulled from a local shelter where I was on 'the list'. I was shutting down being in a cold loud kennel but since being in my foster home, I've opened up and am starting to blossom. I do wonderfully with the other pups here, even occasionally trying to play. I'm also enjoying playing with stuffie toys. I even like that resident weird smelling thing y'all call a cat, I mostly just let her be (cuz ya know, she smells weird!). I also do great with the little kiddos, being oh so gentle with them. Most of the time I'm quite content to take a snooze while you're doing your thing. I am house broken and getting good at using the doggie door to come inside and am just starting to realize I can use it to go out too! I'm really getting to love this doggie door thing! I like going for our walks around the property but I'm more of a meanderer then a cruiser. I'm at that stage in my life where I like to stop and smell the flowers instead of bulldozing right over them! Coming in at around 43lbs I'm not too small that I get under your feet but I'm not too big that I take up the whole... everything. I would make a great companion type pup for someone retired or that works from home. I would even make a great first time dog parent pup. I will be good in the kennel but I definitely don't care to use one and I'm very good about not getting into things I shouldn't. Are you looking for that calm mellow gal that will be happy just to be in the same room? Are you looking for that someone to share in your daily life going on's from the mundane to the exciting? That constant, your princess, in your life that will never turn down belly rubs or treats? Oh wait, yep...that'd be ME!!!

Story
Hi, I’m Minnie, and I’m a really good girl! I love to go on walks and am good on a leash (except I do get really excited to walk so a harness works best). I love other dogs, I currently live with 6 puppies and we love to play. I have super good doggie manners, I will lay down to try and make dogs feel comfortable and I’m also super fun! I am kenneled while my foster is away from the house but I can be left out too. I’m a super star at jumping into the car and am always up for an adventure! I also am affectionate and love to give hugs and kisses. I can’t wait to find my forever family!! Oh and I’m potty trained, so bonus on that! Minnie is estimated to be one year old and 40 lbs. Since we don’t know the dog’s actual genetics, this is just a guess on breed and size when grown. All dogs have had a vet examination, are up to date on all vaccinations, have been given dewormer and heartworm prevention. Dogs over 7 months have been heartworm tested. We can only place animals in homes within a 100 mile radius of Minneapolis. If you are interested in meeting this dog please complete the adoption application on our website at http://www.safehandsrescue.org under Adopt and then we can contact you about setting up a meeting. We are also holding the following upcoming adoption events! Saturday, May 25, 12pm-2pm, Nautical Bowls, 5013 Ewing Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55410 https://www.facebook.com/events/1228041071504051 Saturday, June 1, 2-4pm, Washington Square Bar & Grill; 4736 Washington Square, White Bear Lake, MN 55110 https://www.facebook.com/events/427054683616470 Animal attendance is subject to change based on their availability.
