Rowdy is a little shy with new people. Shes great with all dogs she meets and would be best on a home with another dog to help her adjust. Rowdy is curious in new situations, but life up until recently, hasnt been kind to her..... so she will need time to get comfortable and then her true goofy nature will emerge! Like a butterfly, Rowdy is a much different pup than when she 1st came to us from the pound, with no hope of getting out :( UNTIL the rescue chick saw me and knew i was a diamond in the RUFF ;) Rowdy needs a patient home who will give her time to warm up, open up & trust. Older kids only would be best for her and a fully fenced yard is a must. Until she settles in she'll be an escape risk. An apartment would work for Rowdy as well. Plum is a 2-year-old Beagle/Pit mix and a bright, affectionate dog with tons of potential. At 42 pounds, she's the best cuddlebug with her sincere love of blankets. If you hold one open, she’ll burrow right underneath for cozy snuggles!She’s house-trained, crate-trained for bedtime, and incredibly smart. Honestly, she might just be the future valedictorian of obedience school! Plum is very tuned in to her humans and loves learning what you want from her.This sweet girl has a playful, puppy-like energy and thrives when she has outlets like training sessions and playtime. She loves a good bouncy ball (especially tossing it for herself!) and will happily show off her “sit” and “down.” She doesn't have much experience when making new friends. She has mixed reactions with other dogs, and she does not have experience with cats or with children.Plum is still working on building confidence and managing separation anxiety, so she will require a home without shared walls (no apartments/townhomes) and with adopters who are patient and willing to continue her training. She would likely do best with humans who are home often and enjoy engaging with their dog through training and play.With the right home willing to guide her and give her the structure she needs, she’s sure to blossom into an amazing lifelong companion!If you are interested in Plum, fill out an application at this link to get the ball rolling - https://pethavenmn.org/adopt/adoptable-dogs/dog-adoption-application/The adoption fee is $450. Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. Due to post-adoption services provided, we prefer to adopt within a 150-mile radius of the Twin Cities. However, we will consider up to 250 miles if the foster agrees to travel requirements and staff approval.

Story
Rollie was surrendered after his owner died. He had never lived inside until he came into rescue. He is now house and crate trained. He does love to run and play and hide his bones outside. He had very little socialization with other dogs and is a little dog selective (prefers females more than males). He's more of a loner than most. He has always been crated inside to avoid the mischief a beagle tends to get into with chewing items he isn't supposed to be chewing. It is more for his safety of not swallowing anything harmful. He will bark to let you know when he needs to go potty. He has been completely vetted. He deserves a home of his own to retire in and enjoy the rest of his life. He is fostered in East TN, but transportation is included in the adoption fee and provided by Rescue Riders LLC. Please let me know if you have any questions. Bella is an 8 year old beagle. The reason I need to rehome her is that my baby is really allergic to my dog. She is a happy dog that needs a lot of love. She loves to cuddle in bed. We would love to keep her but we do not think it fair for her to be isolated from us. She loves to run, hike, and bark. She has a lot of energy for being an older dog.
