Plum is a 2-year-old Beagle/Pit mix and a bright, affectionate dog with tons of potential. At 42 pounds, she's the ultimate cuddlebug with a sincere love of blankets. If you hold one open, she'll burrow right underneath for cozy snuggles!She's house-trained, crate-trained for bedtime, and incredibly smart. Honestly, she might just be the future valedictorian of obedience school! Plum is very tuned in to her humans and loves learning what you want from her. She'll be happiest in a detached home where she can enjoy a quieter environment without close neighboring walls. While Plum has experienced some anxiety in her foster home, she's made significant progress with the help of new medication. Even more encouraging, when she stayed with another family, they described her as "calm and chill" and were surprised to hear she'd ever needed to see a veterinary behaviorist! We think she may simply thrive in a quieter home with less outside noise than a busy city environment.Plum loves training and playtime, but she's outgrown that nonstop puppy energy and is best described as a medium-energy dog. She enjoys having opportunities to learn, explore, and interact with her people, then settling in for some cozy downtime. These days, she'd much rather have something satisfying to chew on than chase a ball. Liliana is a very sweet and sensitive dog. She likes to lay in the bed with me and snuggle up next to me or sometimes sleep at the foot-rest of my bed. She adopted me immediately and enjoys to be with me. She loves playing with all my dogs from small to big dogs. Liliana thinks she is a “lap” dog. I call her a “couch potato.” She is crate trained; leash trained (very easy); house trained; and loves to go riding in a car or going for a walk. She definitely a human-pleasing dog. She doesn’t have any prey driven instincts when she sees squirrels or cats on the walks. Liliana also has a very sweet attitude towards people in general. As much as we have not had her around children, she is very nice to all ages. This dog is CURRENTLY IN TEXAS and available for pre-adoption. Rollie was surrendered after his owner died. He had never lived inside until he came into rescue. He is now house and crate trained. He does love to run and play and hide his bones outside. He had very little socialization with other dogs and is a little dog selective (prefers females more than males). He's more of a loner than most. He has always been crated inside to avoid the mischief a beagle tends to get into with chewing items he isn't supposed to be chewing. It is more for his safety of not swallowing anything harmful. He will bark to let you know when he needs to go potty. He has been completely vetted. He deserves a home of his own to retire in and enjoy the rest of his life. 🐾 Meet Luna! 🐾 Luna is a 5-month-old Beagle mix with a sweet personality, an adorable face, and a nose that's always ready for her next adventure! She currently weighs about 20–25 pounds and is expected to stay a nice medium size when she's fully grown. One of Luna's biggest accomplishments is that she's already house-trained using the bell system! She'll ring the bell to let you know when she needs to go outside—a pretty impressive skill for such a young pup. Luna came to us as an owner surrender because she wasn't getting along well with the older dogs in her home. At her age, it's difficult to know whether she was trying to encourage them to play, testing boundaries like many adolescent puppies do, or simply overwhelming dogs that weren't interested in her puppy energy. What we do know is that Luna is still very much a puppy and will benefit from continued training, structure, and appropriate introductions to other dogs. She would thrive with an active family that has the time and patience to continue teaching her good manners, provide plenty of exercise, and help her grow into the wonderful adult dog she's destined to be. Whether she's exploring the backyard, going for walks, or curling up after a busy day, Luna is ready to become someone's loyal best friend. If you're looking for a smart, affectionate young companion who's already off to a great start with house training, Luna may be the perfect addition to your family! She is getting spayed on June 17th and will be ready for her new family shortly after!
