Story
Ruby Love is a darling beagle who is looking for the right family who will love her and show her that people can be great. She can be a little shy and reserved, but the more time she spends with humans, the more she blossoms. She walks nicely on a leash, but may cling to her person for reassurance. She is house-trained and mastered the dog door without incident. Ruby Love has been in foster care for about four months. She arrived positive for heartworms, but she has now been treated, Her new address for success would include a fenced yard and a confident dog who can give her the canine companionship and guidance for a happy life.

Story
Kesha will jump right in the car to go with you, so pack her up and take her with you! She is a road trip fanatic and would love to go with you when you head out and about. If you have a passenger in the back, she may even try and snuggle up on your lap some! Plus, once you get to your destination, Kesha will be the hit of anyone you meet. She loves other dogs and people; the word stranger means absolutely nothing to her. She thinks everyone wants to be her bestie upon 1st introduction. Boundaries, what boundaries - she wants to meet you now!!!   She has a lot of happy, young pup energy and wants a good 5ft+ fenced in yard to run around safely. In that yard, Kesha wants at least one playful furry dog friend to run, romp, and roll around with. This will help her burn of her energy. This is a great time to get her out each day for leash walking as well; she needs practice and the early and more consistent you are, the better she will get. Everyone wants a dog that is good on leash so when you go to activities, dinner, the vet, Kesha knows basic commands and how to properly behave. Plus, she is doing well with crate and is already potty trained! WIN!    Make sure you have time each day to spend playing with Kesha and then have some good ole snuggle time! She such a sweetheart and will be happy to share her boundless amount of love with you. Your day will begin and end with smiles, tail wags, and sweetness if you adopt Kesha! Don't you want to meet her??   (DOB 12/06/2021) As part of Kesha $300 adoption fee she is spayed, microchipped, up to date on age appropriate vaccines, and current on her monthly flea/tick and heartworm prevention. If you have any questions about this girl you can email dogteam@pawsforlifenc.org. If you wish to adopt Kesha, you can fill out an online application for her under the Adopt a Pet tab on our website www.pawsforlifenc.org.  ##1632555##

Story
One look at Beau and you’ll see he's one of the sweetest dogs you’ll ever meet. He is the perfect size at only ~35 pounds! He has the face of a puppy but is an adult dog. Beau is the perfect balance of energy and relaxation. He is ready to share his beautiful smile with you and light up your life!   Beau loves being outdoors. He is flexible with his outdoor time and is happy on a walk or in the backyard playing. Beau is a good little strolling companion and is good on a leash. When he has burned off his energy, he is happy to hang out with his people. He could be in a single dog household and would love all the love and attention.   This little guy isn’t very loud and doesn't bark too much, so he would be great in an apartment or with those who prefer a quieter dog. Beau is good in the house and can be left out. He will alternate throuoghout the day between playing and relaxing. During the day he’s been sleeping around the house but at night goes in his crate.    He can be a little shy at first with people but warms up quickly and is sweet and loves attention. He does great with kids but may be a little hyper at times so very small children could be unintentionally knocked over while he is playing. He likes to be with other dogs as long as he is introduced properly and they are not aggressive or overly dominant. He would make a great pet for any sized household, and would be sure to bring his family an endless amount of joy.   He appears to be housetrained but needs to be on a schedule and understand when and where to do his business. He sleeps in his crate through the night and is ready to go straight out to potty when he wakes up. We are also working on basic commands like sit & down. Whoever adopts this little cutie should continue postive reinforcement training with Beau. Little bonus because Beau is treat or food motivated and is easily redirected as needed. He does have a little bad habit of wanting to grab some tasty treats of the counter so watch his counter surfing moves; we are working on that as well.   As part of Beau’s $300 adoption fee, he will be neutered, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and current on his monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives.  If you have questions about this sweet boy, you can email  Dogteam@pawsforlifenc.org.  If you wish to adopt Beau, you can fill in an online application for him under the Adopt a Pet Tab on our website:  www.pawsforlifenc.org. ##1731684##
