Story
Yup, he is as yummy as he sounds and all you have to do is NOT travel to the Orient looking for him. Just head out to Saving Grace to find the best Mushu around (albeit spelled a little differently)! Mushu is an adult beagle who weighs about 25 lbs full grown. He is SUCH a beagle. Sniffs, a few songs, lots of love, some noshing, friends with every one...just the day in the life of Mushu. This guy is silly, fun, social and active and is sure to fit into just about any family. He likes to talk, in that fabulous beagle way, when he has something to say so may not be the best fit for an apartment setting. This guy would love big people, little people, big dogs, little dogs...pretty much a bestie to all. Come nom nom and smooch smooch Mushu soon. See you at the farm! **Volunteer Dog Walk feedback: "Was kind to other dogs and interested in sniffing them/meeting them". "Excited walker at first, but in the back half of the hike he definitely slowed down and was getting tired". "Very sweet dog with the softest ears, always wanted to be pet and leaned into your legs to show you some love".

Story
(DOB 12/17/2023).  Due to Foxy’s young age, he has not yet been neutered.  For this reason, we are only considering local placement (within 1 hour drive time of Wake Forest NC).  Foxy has only been with us for 3 weeks, so we are still learning about him.  For now, he is your typical puppy. He is inquisitve about everything and is full of kisses.  His days are spent eating, sleeping, playing, pottying and repeat.  He can be a little shy at first, but warms up in a nano-second.  He just now got enough vaccines to start going outdoors with paws on ground, so true potty training is just beginning.  He is looking for a home with another dog to help give him confidence.    As part of Foxy’s $325 adoption fee, he will be neutered, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and current on his monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. In addition to the adoption fee, a $100 spay/neuter deposit and puppy spay/neuter agreement will also be required. The deposit will be returned once the puppy is altered.  If you have questions about this sweet little boy, you can email  Dogteam@pawsforlifenc.org.  If you wish to adopt Foxy, you can fill in an online application for his under the Adopt a Pet Tab on our website:  www.pawsforlifenc.org. ##1987464##

Story
Everyone meet Piper! She is a medium sized puppy who is full of love and sass - she could chase a ball endlessly while also being your best cuddle buddy! She is very smart and learning her puppy manners well, she lives to please! She has adjusted exceptionally well to a cushy home life and is getting along well with her doggie playmates. Piper does have some awkward wobbles with walking because she was born with underdeveloped knee caps, but that doesn't stop her from running and playing like any other pup! Her knee caps may grow in better as she gets older and our vets are monitoring closely. If you have any questions about Piper or her needs please reach out -- she is a perfectly imperfect girl! ##1852742##

Story
Meet lovely June! June is calm, shy, sweet, affectionate, and submissive. She walks well on a leash and LOVES car rides. June enjoys entertaining herself with squeaky toys or a bone to chew. She's been curious about the cats in her foster home but keeps a respectful distance. She seems to be fine around other dogs, but doesn't really pay much attention to them (so isn't the "playmate" type). The most important thing to know about June is that she craves company and lots of love from her people. She likes to lie on the couch and comes for cuddles as soon as her foster family sist down. She's always seeking cuddles and attention. This beautiful sweetheart is still settling in with her foster family but what is clear is that June has tons of love to give and is looking for a forever home that will shower her with the attention she deserves.

Story
I had a friend find a lost puppy Beagle (4-6 months) at a job site that was lost. They went around the neighborhood hoping to find its owner but no luck. They put up messages on facebook, called the shelters and asked around but no one has come up as her owner. We checked to see if she was chipped but she was not. As of right now we are housing her hoping to find a home for her as we dont want her to just sit in a shelter. She’s so loving and sweet and gets super excited like a puppy usually does. She loves her walks and exploring. Sleeps in her crate all night and is currently being house potty trained. Overall a smart puppy that just needs a loving home.

Story
Meet Romulus and Remus! These 1 year old brothers are silly, hilarious, goofy, snuggly, fun and would be an amazing addition to a family who need cheering up all the time! They love walks (although still working on not zig zagging on leashes) and love running about in a fenced in backyard. These dogs would be pretty great at fetch and activities as well as snuggling on a couch after. Remus is around 19 pounds and Romulus is around 30, since he is longer and has a bigger head. They do well with other dogs and love to play, so if you want a dog to play with your dog, why not get TWO to be play buddies!? They'd also be great hiking buddies as they have endless energy. They sleep in their crates and have never had an accident. They eat in their crates separately and are good eaters. Since they are a bonded pair, their reduced adoption rate is $450 *usually is $300 each for this age. Please apply at apply.neshamarescue.org for the most fun, hilarious babies!
