Meet Khalifa!! He came in as a stray with his buddy, Wiz, on 8/22/26. We think he is about 4 years old. He came in with double entropian eye, but had surgery to correct it. He is a sweet and gentle guy. He is available for adoption so hurry in to meet him! Khalifa is located at the Richland County Dog Shelter in Mansfield, OH. This was my mom‘s dog. She passed away just trying to find him a good home very quiet dog he just like to lay around relax that’s what he always did with my mom. He don’t really like to go outside until he has to use the bathroom so I know if he could be with another older person they would love him just like my mom did because he’s not a bad dog. He doesn’t run around the house. He just like to lay there and relax and watch TV with my mom you don’t even know he in the house unfortunately I can’t keep him no longer so if you can find a good family for him, I really would appreciate it

Dasher is a low rider and around 41 lbs--he is short but mighty.  We were told he is not a fan of kids by the family that found him.  SO we suggest a home without children.  It is unknown how he is with cats.  He has a chronic issue with his leg and will likely, at some point, need to be on meds for arthritis. Based on what our vet told us he was likely injured and the injury healed on it's own with out medical intervention. (he ran for nearly a month before he landed at the finders home so it is unknown what may have happened in that time frame)--we suspect he may have been struck by a car or possibly kicked by a horse.   He limps on occasion and it should be monitored as he ages.  ***it took the finder several days to get him to warm up to them before they called us. He does like to go for walks, and can be playful. He is neutered, vaccinated, wormed, tested negative for heartworm, and is microchipped. Dasher likes some dogs but can be selective, so a meet and greet is necessary and must be scheduled in advance.  He would likely do well in a low key quiet home----although he is still active.  If you have interest please call the shelter to schedule an appt or stop in during regular business hours to walk through the kennel.  Morrow County Dog Shelter, Mt. **UPDATE** I HAVE BOTH OF THEM UP TO DATE ON SHOTS AND BOTH HAVE COME BACK WITH A NEGATIVE HEARTWORM TEST!! This is Bob (tan male) and Boba (black female) they are 5yr beagle labs mix together since birth neither of them are fixed I would be willing to split the cost of the procedure if necessary. I have not had the opportunity to have them around other animals so I dont know how they would be but they are spectacular around kids I am looking to rehome them because they are just not living the doggy dream with us my family dynamic has changed over the last year and it is not giving the love and time these dogs deserve. I am also moving in the near future and cannot take these dogs with me! located in central huron county

Bailey is a sweet girl. She is about 8 years old years old, her birthday is October 31st 2018, we adopted Her from shelter with unknown background. She just wants to lay in your lap or watch out of the window or sleep curled up with you. she loves going on walks and getting treats and literally just being close to you. Bailey would do best with a dog owner who understand hypersensitivity as she does not like commotion or a lot of noise; We have 4 kids and she is good with them, but when there is a lot of commotion and kids running around the house she gets very anxious. She get stressed very easily and would do best in a one dog home but gets along with other dogs. We cannot give her the calm and quiet life she deserves and just want to see someone love her in an environment that is good for her!

Meet adorable Snoopy. Rescued from an overcrowded shelter where he was found as a stray. Snoopy is 5 years old and currently 33 pounds, although a bit chubby. He is dog friendly and has the great Beagle temperament. We are unsure about cats at this time although he spotted one  on a walk and didn’t seem interested. Respectful older children shouldn’t be an issue. He rides well in the car and walks well on the leash, just be ready when he spots a squirrel. As usual for his breed, we do prefer a fenced yard. He is also house trained.
