Just look at that sweet face — it’s impossible not to fall in love instantly. Nina would love nothing more than a cozy home, a comfy spot to relax, and someone to adore her as much as she’ll adore them. Doug is on inexpensive thyroid medicine and medicine for seizures. He will need a home without young children. Doug should have a cat free home but can have a submissive canine companion. Meet Daisy Mae. She was purchased for some crazy amount from someone who had no clue. She was given away after a few days and a few days after that was rescued from an acquaintance who couldn’t stand the way she was being treated. That person reached out to us for help. Poor baby.  She does have papers for what that is worth. Daisy Mae is a Lemon Beagle and is only about 16 weeks old as of 1/3/26.  She was born 9/11/25. Daisy Mae is currently only about 13-15 lbs. She is great with other dogs and cats. Should be fine with respectful children. Due to her breed, a fenced yard is required.  She has had her age appropriate vaccines and will be spayed in February or March along with any other needed vaccines. Her adoption fee is $250. Graham is a senior Beagle mix.  He is around 10 yrs old based on the information that was provided to us.  He is a sweet, playful dog and is very energetic for his age.  He is not good with cats so needs to live in a cat free zone.  He is fine with some dogs but should meet them prior to adoption being approved and finalized. MBR holds monthly adoption events on the 2nd Saturday of every month at Tractor Supply in Columbia Station, 24100 Royalton Road from 11 am - 2 pm. Questions can be emailed to rescue@mbrohio.com Scooter is a 3-year-old Beagle/Shepherd mix weighing 47 pounds who is looking for his forever family. This sweet boy came to the rescue very underweight, and thanks to lots of care and good meals, he’s slowly gaining weight and starting to come out of his shell. Scooter already knows how to sit and is eager to keep learning, especially if toys or treats are involved! He walks nicely on a leash and is working on his potty-training. He loves playing with toys, happily chewing on bones, and then winding down for some quality cuddle time. One of his favorite things is simply being part of the family—he wants to be included in whatever you’re doing, whether that’s playtime or a cozy night on the couch. Scooter gets along well with other dogs but has not met children yet. He is currently very curious about the cats in his foster home and is learning how to co-exist with them peacefully. Affectionate, loyal, and full of love, Scooter is a snuggler at heart who’s ready to find a forever home where he can continue to grow, feel safe, and be cherished. If you’re looking for a devoted companion who will fill your home with love, Scooter might just be your perfect match. If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs, the first thing to do is submit an application for approval. All dogs available for adoption are in foster homes. Please do not visit the rescue location as it is a privately run boarding, training, & grooming facility. Individual meet and greets are scheduled by appointment only for approved adopters. *Ms. Zuma loves to sleep in her spare time; Beware, as she does snore and tends to sleep so deeply that she will have body tremors. She prefers to be under the comforter in bed, but will settle for a seat on the couch close to you, while under a blanket of course. However, if desired she is trained to sleep in a kennel as well. *She’s been caught guarding food so she is used to being fed separate from other animals. *She wants to be a part of everything, rather the nosey neighbor, which has resulted in her getting into altercations with dogs that are dominant and/or Alpha, as they don’t take too kindly to her attempting to correct their behavior. Therefore, she would be best suited as the single dog of a home or with non-dominant/ non-Alpha dogs. *She loves children and has quite a bit of patience, as demonstrated while wearing various costumes. *Can be left alone approximately 6 hours before needing to go potty, unless water is limited, and can wait at least 9 hours.
