Meet Peanut & Cashew. They were rescued from an overcrowded KY shelter.  We believe they are littermates and we would love for them to stay together but can be split up if necessary.  Peanut and Cashew are about 1 year old, 21 lbs. and Beagle mixes.  They are super sweet and loving.  We just got them so don't really know yet about being housetrained.  They have to receive one more vaccine and they are ready to find a loving home.  Due to their breed, a fenced yard is required.  Based on their personalities, we believe they would be fine with other dogs, cats and respectable children. Meet Peanut. I was originally trying to find him a home with Cashew but can’t seem to. He is a wonderful friendly dog. Peanut is fully vetted. His personality is top notch so more than likely would be good with everyone. He is crate trained. May be house trained but hard to tell for sure since he is in a boarding kennel. Peanut will need a fenced yard due to his breed. He’s a little guy at only 21 pounds and he is just barely over a year old. He looks to be maybe Beagle/Black and Tan Coonhound mix. I'm a sassy, petite, beagle mix with a whole lot of personality and a heart of gold! I'm a whopping 25 pounds and entered this world about a year and a half ago! I must admit one of my favorite things to do, is lounge in the sun and roll in the grass - I could do it for hours! One may classify me as a diva but I prefer to think of myself as just spreading the love and joy wherever I go. One may say, I'm a master escape artist, as I always push the limits with crawling under things, so you do have to keep a close eye on me, but I make up for that in so many other ways! Not only am I lover, but I'm willing to give free sloppy kisses to anyone who is willing to receive them. I also enjoy snuggling on the couch with my bestie. How did we end up here? Well, on February 24, 2024, I showed up on a country road with my best friend and was lucky enough to wander onto a beautiful farm. The people there really liked us and while we were afraid of them at first, they helped us both. We even found some other furry friends along the way and our life took a quick turn. Everyone tried to find where we originally came from, but no one claimed us. The nice people got us to a vet, got me spayed, vaccinated and now they say I'm ready for my new permanent home. I really hope my new family will also take my best friend. He is part Rhodesian Ridgeback and my companion. We survived our adventure together and we hope we can continue living our lives with each other. If you can share the spotlight, I might be the one for you. I'm always up for a good time and promise to offer you unwavering devotion. If you have another dog, please bring them with you to meet us!

Lucy is good with her foster mom's grandchildren and all her canine foster siblings. Lucy loves being outside in the yard. She likes to chew hard bones and play with stuffed toys. Lucy is crated trained for when her foster mom leaves the house, and she is housebroken. Lucy is not a lap dog, but she likes to be pet and be social with humans and animals. True to her breed, Lucy follows her nose and wants to reach any food she smells Lucy is currently working on learning commands, starting with sit and down.
