 Abby is a five year old beagle mix mom who came to Paws and Prayers in the family way. After birthing and weaning 10 puppies, she has been spayed, microchip, given all her shots for this year, wormed and potty trained. She is a sweetheart. She does bark at new people but give her a treat and she is your friend for life. She weighs 35 to 40 pounds and loves to cuddle. She probably needs a fence as her beagle nose will leave her astray (pun intended).  She lives with other animals but it takes a bit of time for her introduction to new dogs. She cannot do it face to face. This is an issue for many dogs. She needs to smell their rear first as they will then be introduced to her "pack". She is much more interested in people and would make the perfect only dog, also.  She lived a hard life prior to Paws and Prayers. She is perfect on her potty training as she loves the inside luxurious life. The poor girl has 26 BB pellets in her (surface level and vet says they are not causing any distress. May be one of the reasons she hid in the bathroom during 4th of July noises. Through a partnership with another rescue, Geauga Moms and Pups, we pulled these three precious puppies to find a loving forever home. Meet  L A Charlotte (female). They are terrier mixes and currently 3 months old and currently weigh 16 lbs. Athena is the shyest of the three but after a while, she will become very loving and social.  Charlotte is the more outgoing one. All three puppies are good with other dogs. They have not been exposed to cats or other small furry pets or children. These puppies will need help with general obedience, leash training, housetraining and socialization. All three puppies available for our foster to adopt program which means you can foster each in your home until each puppy finishes his and her vetting which includes spay/neuter, vaccines, and microchip. Sammy is in all honesty a great dog. I don't want to see him go in the first place because my family loves him. The only reason I have to rehome him is because my health issues. It makes it hard for me to walk and such to be able to properly take care of him. He loves people, don't really know about other dogs though since he's never been around any others. He loves to cuddle and sleep with you. He is always wanting to lay with us. He loves going on walks but he does pull. He likes to play, run, go on walks. He will be the first one to come and lay with you in bed or on the couch. He is very clingy and wants to always be around someone. His favorite place is to be under a blanket. Most of the time he can't sleep without one. He means the world to our family but with my health complications it makes things difficult.
