Even if a dog is surrendered to us and said to be good with cats there is no way to be sure the dog will be good with your cats. We do have a 7 day foster-to-adopt program so that you can see how the dog interacts with your cats before adoption.

She's extremely selective with new dogs, might prefer smaller than her as she barks and howls at new dogs. She prefers softer spoken people over louder, deeper voices.Would probably be best in a quieter home that has a good routine for her. She's not going to be a world traveler or enjoy doing a lot of new things.She will use pee pads inside if she has to go out when you are gone. She will need to be crated or kept in a room while you're gone as she can become destructive if left out. She will be spayed on Friday May 1 and can leave on adoption after that. Mural's adoption fee is $250She is vaccinated, flea & tick treated, negative for Lyme or heartworm, on heartworm preventative, given dewormer, will be spayed and microchipped before adoption. You can stop into the shelter 12- 5 pm Monday through Friday or 11 am to 3 pm on Saturday to meet who is available at that time. Please arrive no later than 30 minutes before we close to ensure we have time to do the adoption.We're open Monday through Friday 12-5 pm and Saturday 11-3 pm. We're located at 9331 State Route 124 Hillsboro, OH. Our adoption is open and easy, please come to the shelter to meet the animals in person to adopt.

This fun loving, affectionate guy is back in action after he came to DASH with some skin issues that have now been treated and his hair is growing back nicely and his true personality is shining through. He is currently in our DASH Prison Program where he is mastering his basic commands, and where he loves to play fetch with his favorite things and is very energetic when he's playing, but then is ready to chill and just watch the world go by hanging out in his favorite spot on the couch. He loves giving kisses as well. He is crate trained, potty trained and walks well on a leash. He enjoys meeting new people and dogs, but has not been kid or cat tested. Due to the skin issues he is still a little touch sensitive on his back half, but we feel that will resolve itself over time. He also is not a big fan of crowds and is a little skittish, but his handler is working with him to overcome that. He's also fairly quiet and not a big barker in or out of his crate. This girl loves everyone, people, kids, cats. She is a typical puppy and is currently in our DASH Prison Program where she is working on all of her puppy manners, including crate training, potty training, and walking on a leash. She loves playing both inside and outside and getting all of her puppy energy out and then chilling with a good nap. Her new family will need to be ready and willing to continue helping her master her puppy manners so that she can be the best addition to her forever home.
