Meet Peanut & Cashew. They were rescued from an overcrowded KY shelter.  We believe they are littermates and we would love for them to stay together but can be split up if necessary.  Peanut and Cashew are about 1 year old, 21 lbs. and Beagle mixes.  They are super sweet and loving.  We just got them so don't really know yet about being housetrained.  They have to receive one more vaccine and they are ready to find a loving home.  Due to their breed, a fenced yard is required.  Based on their personalities, we believe they would be fine with other dogs, cats and respectable children. Meet Peanut. I was originally trying to find him a home with Cashew but can’t seem to. He is a wonderful friendly dog. Peanut is fully vetted, neutered and all vaccines. His personality is top notch so more than likely would be good with everyone. He is crate trained. May be house trained but hard to tell for sure since he is in a boarding kennel. He does walk well on a leash and would need a daily walk.  Peanut will need a fenced yard due to his breed. He’s a little guy at only 21 pounds and he is just barely over a year old. He looks to be maybe Beagle/Black and Tan Coonhound mix. His adoption fee is $175. Meet Cashew. He was rescued along with a littermate from an overcrowded shelter. He is the sweetest boy.  He’s a little guy at only 21 lbs and is just over a year old. He is a beagle mix and is fully vetted, neutered and all vaccines up to date. Cashew is dog friendly although a bit excited at first meet. We think he is  probably okay with cats but again, super excited to see them. He should be fine with older respectful children, maybe 8 and up. Cashew walks great on a leash and would need a daily walk. Probably housetrained but hard to tell for sure since he is in a kennel situation currently. Hello! I’m Wendy, and I'm a medium-sized Hound mix looking for a family who will play and snuggle with me. I came to MBR at the end of February after being in a shelter in Southern Ohio. I’m glad they saved me when they did, because I was incredibly weak, frail, and heavily pregnant. One week later, I gave birth to 4 puppies! I’m very well behaved – I am house trained, crate trained, walk well on a leash, and get along with other dogs and kids. The only thing I need to work on is a bit of resource guarding. A fun fact about me, I only have 3 paws! Since I’m missing a paw from my back leg, I can only go on short walks. Other things I love: cuddles, car rides, peanut butter treats, and cuddles… Did I mention I love cuddles? Overall, I am a happy girl, and will surely fall in love with you when we meet! All dogs available for adoption are in foster homes. Please do not visit the location as it is a privately run boarding, training, and grooming facility. Meet and greets are scheduled by appointment only for approved adopters. Age: 1-2 years Adoption fee: $400

Hiya! I’m Curly, and I’m the eldest of Wendy’s four puppies. My mom is most likely a Beagle mix, but we don't know who dad is. Though my mom is on the smaller side at 45 pounds, it seems most likely I will be a medium to large dog when full grown. I was born in the rescue in early March 2024, and I’m now ready to find my forever family! I need a family who will take me on adventures. Since I’m still a puppy, I’m still working on being house trained, crate trained, and walking on a leash. I get along with other dogs and kids. I’m feisty and rambunctious and need a high-energy family to match my spirit. I may be small now, but soon enough I will be big and strong. NOTE: These photos are all of Curly. Different cameras and different light. He is reddish with tan. All dogs available for adoption are in foster homes. Howdy! I’m Tootles, the youngest of Wendy’s four puppies. We were born in the rescue in early March 2024. My mom is most likely a Beagle mix, but we don't know who dad is.
