Story
Rowdy is a little shy with new people. Shes great with all dogs she meets and would be best on a home with another dog to help her adjust. Rowdy is curious in new situations, but life up until recently, hasnt been kind to her..... so she will need time to get comfortable and then her true goofy nature will emerge! Like a butterfly, Rowdy is a much different pup than when she 1st came to us from the pound, with no hope of getting out :( UNTIL the rescue chick saw me and knew i was a diamond in the RUFF ;) Rowdy needs a patient home who will give her time to warm up, open up & trust. Older kids only would be best for her and a fully fenced yard is a must. Until she settles in she'll be an escape risk. An apartment would work for Rowdy as well. She is ready for her furever family!! Apply soon! Local adoption only $200, in TX

Story
We adopted Harvey from a rescue shelter when he was just a puppy, and he is now 14 months old. Because of his unique coloring and distinctive face, we named him after Harvey Dent. Harvey is a high-energy dog who also loves to snuggle. He enjoys playing fetch and already knows basic commands. He is highly food-motivated, which makes him eager to learn and a great candidate for continued training. We also have an older dog, and while they do get along, Harvey’s play style is much more physical than she enjoys. His playful nipping tends to overwhelm her and she has seemed more withdrawn since he joined our home. We believe Harvey would thrive in a more active environment where he can get the level of physical exercise and stimulation he needs. Although he receives daily walks, he rarely seems tired and would likely benefit from a home that can offer more vigorous exercise. He is truly a sweet boy and loves attention from people. Please help us give him a better home.
