Story
Meet Silos! He’s giving Employee of the Month. Every Month. Silos is not just a dog. Silos is a vibe. He is the living embodiment of "no thoughts, just chill." With a body built like a potato and legs that are frankly more of a suggestion than a reality (we're talking a solid 4 inches max), Silos is not here to run marathons, he’s here to roll gently into your heart and maybe onto your couch. He’s got the kind of face that makes people stop and say, “Wait… what is that?” followed immediately by, “I love him.” His unique, goofy look is part lowrider, part loaf of bread, and 100% perfect. Whether he’s doing his signature rollie-pollie move or simply existing like a gloriously unbothered beanbag, Silos is comedy and cuteness stuffed in a doggy body. We believe that Silos is around 3 years old and a beagle/basset mix of some sort. He may have a little hound in him as well. But due to him being a rescue, these are our best guesses and age and breed cannot be guaranteed. Check out this funny dude in action below! https://youtu.be/G2XzoQamZ-A When it comes to other dogs, he’s Switzerland, neutral, indifferent, vibing. He can share space with another dog or be your one-and-only lumpy soulmate. When we were hanging out together, Silos was happy to hang out with all of our puppy friends! He wasn’t trying to chase them though, he knew he didn't stand a chance L O L. The guy knows which battles to choose. As for cats? Silos has looked deep into the soul of our housecat Biggie and decided… meh. Totally unfazed, utterly cat tolerant. Because of this, we believe he would do great in a house with cats. Silos was as cool as a cucumber with kids. He was perfectly content when he met the kiddos at our space! He was just happily vibing as our friend Kobe (4) tossed treats and toys above his head. He’s got a “let the chaos swirl around me while I sit and smile” kind of energy, which makes him ideal for homes with little humans. House or apartment, Silos doesn’t care, as long as there's a couch (or honestly, a carpet square), he’s good. In short: Silos is all body, nubs for legs, and full-on legend. He is definitely the potato dog who will roll his way into your heart and never leave. Is Silos your man? We have over 15,000 successful adoptions so far and have excellent Google Reviews: https://g.co/kgs/UQ5Pyai We care deeply about making the perfect match between dog and family for long term success. Our rescue has a 2 acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress! Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond. Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet. The rescue’s hard costs alone for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,120. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that Three Little Pitties Rescue is not government funded. It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS: Extensive behavioral testing and information from trainers on our staff to ensure the perfect fit for your family Discounts on Embark DNA test kit- $30 off of Breed ID test & $50 off of Breed ID plus Health test 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion A free private online dog training session with GoodPup, plus low pricing for future sessions 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a delicious PNW based fresh dog meatballs subscription Coupons for a fun visit to Petco 20% off of Dr. Cuddles pet first aid and hygiene solutions Discounted heartworm, flea prevention, and monthly dewormer Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! Did you know that the Greater Houston area faces some of the highest stray and overpopulation rates in the nation? We are a non profit charity. Our goal is simple— to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and by rescuing animals from the streets or overcrowded shelters where euthanasia due to lack of space is often the only option. The dog you've found online is not only lucky to be in our program, but also incredibly fortunate to have caught your eye. Thank you for considering adoption and for joining us in our mission! Story
Hi - I'm Cooper, a 4-year-old Harrier/Beagle mix in need of foster or forever home. I weigh only 35 lbs. I was dumped at a crowded California shelter by my owners, who knows why. I am a good boy, I love other dogs, and I am sweet and gentle. I had kennel mates at the shelter. I am patiently waiting now for someone else to adopt me, so I can enjoy a warm soft bed and some loving attention and affection. Please email for an application.

If your taste says designer, but your heart says rescue- you’re in for a treat! We think Kelley is a Beagle, Dauchshund mix, aka the cutest mix you could possibly imagine!! She is a rescue, so this is of course a guess- but the cuteness is undeniable. She’s estimated to be around 7 years old, and weighs in at 36 pounds. Fall in love with Kelley here: https://youtu.be/BTDBRS5wzok?feature=shared Kelley is a cutie through and through, her favorite place to be is anywhere comfy. She’s a big fan of couches, bean bag chairs and dog beds. She can be a snuggle bug with the humans she loves most, and she doesn’t mind being picked up and held. A true lapdog type! At an estimated seven years old, Kelley has already learned the ropes, and she’s a ready-made good dog! She doesn’t have indoor potty accidents, and she walks perfectly on the leash. She enjoys a daily walk around the neighborhood with her foster brother Charlie. She can be a little shy with new people, but gentle voices, walks, and patience are the key to her heart. Once you’ve won her over, you have a friend for life! She’s besties with her dog-walker Nathan, who understandably adores her right back. Within a few minutes of meeting me, she let me pet her and even came back for seconds. Kelley is dog friendly, and BFFs with a Chihuahua mix half her size. The two have the sweetest friendship, bouncing around each other with wagging tails every time they meet. She’s a little shy with newer dogs, slow and sweet intros are the foundation for a good friendship with Kelley. She currently lives with a larger male dog, Charlie, and enjoys being is boss. LOL!! She isn't playful with him and prefers the people more in the family. When she wants her 11 year old human friend to love on her, she nuzzles his hand with her head and cuddles in close. Kelley is a gem and lives with a foster cat, too. She gets very curious about the kitty, so a home without feline friends is best. If Kelley could have a home with a dog, she would prefer playing with female dogs and small dogs at her home. Kelley has her bags packed and she’s ready for her forever home. She’s an older medium energy lady, and ready for retirement in a home on the calmer side. While she could live with other dogs, she’s also people-loving enough to thrive as an only dog. We are willing to test Kelley with anything you needin order to ensure she is the perfect match for you! We can make most anything happen! Just let us know.
