Story
Meet handsome Red, an 8-year-old beagle with soulful eyes, a gentle heart, and a second chance at the life he deserves. When Red arrived at the shelter, his future was heartbreakingly uncertain. Thankfully, they reached out to CBR for help. Red is the kind of beagle who makes people smile without even trying. One of his favorite things in the world is toys. He carries them proudly around like treasured prizes. Like many beagles who enjoy the finer things in life (especially snacks!), Red is currently working on getting to a healthier weight (he weighs 51lbs, down from 56lbs). He’s doing great on his diet and would love a family committed to helping him continue his wellness journey with walks, playtime, and lots of encouragement. Beneath those extra pounds is a happy, loving beagle ready for many more wonderful years ahead. Red is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to leave his uncertain past behind forever. His adoption fee is: $450

Story
Meet Summer ☀️🐾 Summer is a six-year-old, 16-pound Beagle with one very important belief… she’s actually six weeks old. And honestly? She lives like it. This little girl is bursting with energy, curiosity, and just the right amount of chaos to keep life interesting. True to her Beagle roots, Summer follows her nose wherever it leads—which means a secure yard is a must, and she shouldn’t be left outside unsupervised. If there’s a scent trail, she’s on a mission! Summer loves to play, cuddle, and be part of the action. She thrives on attention and connection, and when she doesn’t get enough stimulation, she may find her own (sometimes a little destructive) ways to entertain herself. Keeping her mentally and physically engaged will be key to helping her shine. The good news? Summer is a social butterfly. She would do wonderfully in a home with other dogs, cats, and kids. She’s looking for a family that will embrace her playful spirit, spoil her a little (okay, a lot), and give her the love and structure she needs to thrive. If you’re ready for a fun-loving, affectionate, and slightly mischievous companion, Summer might just be your perfect match. Her adoption fee is $295 and she's spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. Apply to meet this sweet Beagle today. 🐶💛

Story
Meet Snoopy Male DOB: March 1, 2026 Weight: 7 pounds (current) Estimated Adult Weight: 35–50 pounds Breed: Beagle Mix Neutered (Fixed): Pending (age-appropriate) Vaccinated Microchipped Blind, Healthy & Adoption-Ready Snoopy is a special little puppy with a huge heart and a spirit that shines far beyond his size. He may be blind, but he doesn’t let that slow him down. Snoopy explores the world with confidence, curiosity, and trust. He’s a happy, loving puppy who is learning, growing, and ready to form an incredible bond with the family lucky enough to call him theirs. Personality Snoopy is affectionate, playful, and full of life. He loves to explore using his other senses—sniffing, listening, and feeling his way through the world. He is incredibly loving and bonds deeply, often seeking comfort and connection with his people. He’s a brave little guy who approaches life with trust and joy. Ideal Home Snoopy would do best in a home that is patient, loving, and committed to helping him navigate the world safely. He will thrive in a stable environment where routines are consistent and he can build confidence. Owner Responsibilities Snoopy will need consistent guidance, structure, and a safe environment tailored to a visually impaired puppy. His adopter should be prepared to: Keep a consistent home layout so he can learn and navigate confidently Use verbal cues and gentle touch to guide and communicate with him Provide safe spaces and supervise during exploration Continue positive reinforcement training to build confidence and trust Offer daily exercise and enrichment adapted to his needs Like all puppies, he will also require: Frequent potty breaks and supervision Routine and structure Teething support and appropriate chew toys Blind dogs adapt incredibly well, but they rely on their humans for guidance, patience, and consistency. Things to Consider (Puppy Life + Special Needs) Adopting Snoopy means understanding both puppy life and his blindness, including: Potty training and accidents during learning Teething and chewing behaviors The need for a safe, predictable environment Extra patience as he learns to navigate new spaces Blind dogs live full, happy lives—but they do best with adopters who are committed, attentive, and willing to guide them with care. The 3-3-3 Rule 3 days to decompress 3 weeks to learn your routine 3 months to fully feel at home With consistency and love, Snoopy will grow into an incredible companion. Veterinary Care Snoopy is up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations and will need to complete his puppy vaccine series and be neutered when age-appropriate. Ongoing care should include: Regular veterinary check-ups Monitoring his overall development and safety Preventative care such as flea, tick, and heartworm prevention Your veterinarian can also help guide you in supporting a blind dog’s long-term health and well-being. Important Note Snoopy is an indoor family dog. He is not to be chained or left outside. Story
Female Bonded pair: Liza and Honey Bee, 5-year-old littermatesLiza and Honey Bee find themselves in rescue to no fault of their own. Sadly their owner, who had them since puppyhood, passed away and now they're looking for a soft landing. Honey Bee, is a rare and beautiful red-tick purebred beagle who brings a perfect balance of calm and playful energy She’s mellow but has a delightfully goofy side, and she’ll happily greet you with enthusiasm (and maybe a little jump-up hello!). She’s healthy, spayed, microchipped, and current on vaccinations. In the warmer months, she may experience occasional itchiness, which has been manageable with medication on occasion.Honeybee's sister, Liza, is a stunning purebred chocolate beagle with a tender, soulful nature. She’s incredibly sweet, loves affection, and will melt right into your lap. She’s healthy, spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all her vaccinations. She's ready to come bouncing into your life and make you smile. These girls share a unique little trait—their tails were damaged at birth and they had a severe bend. To prevent further injury, their tails had to be docked. But don’t worry… those tiny tails still wag with joy, especially when they’re together...or if treats are in the mix. They are a bonded pair and take great comfort in one another, so they must be adopted together. They’ll also need a bit of guidance as they transition to outdoor potty routines, since they were previously trained on an indoor system. The good news? They’re already making great progress, and with consistency and encouragement, they’ll continue to succeed. If you have room in your life for two hearts that will fill your world with joy, Liza and Honey Bee are waiting for you. Adoption fee is $250 each for a total of $500.Please complete our adoption application which can be found on our website atwww.cascaderescue.org.
