Story
Rowdy is a little shy with new people. Shes great with all dogs she meets and would be best on a home with another dog to help her adjust. Rowdy is curious in new situations, but life up until recently, hasnt been kind to her..... so she will need time to get comfortable and then her true goofy nature will emerge! Like a butterfly, Rowdy is a much different pup than when she 1st came to us from the pound, with no hope of getting out :( UNTIL the rescue chick saw me and knew i was a diamond in the RUFF ;) Rowdy needs a patient home who will give her time to warm up, open up & trust. Older kids only would be best for her and a fully fenced yard is a must. Until she settles in she'll be an escape risk. An apartment would work for Rowdy as well. She is ready for her furever family!! Apply soon! Local adoption only $200, in TX

Story
Meet Summer ☀️🐾 Summer is a six-year-old, 16-pound Beagle with one very important belief… she’s actually six weeks old. And honestly? She lives like it. This little girl is bursting with energy, curiosity, and just the right amount of chaos to keep life interesting. True to her Beagle roots, Summer follows her nose wherever it leads—which means a secure yard is a must, and she shouldn’t be left outside unsupervised. If there’s a scent trail, she’s on a mission! Summer loves to play, cuddle, and be part of the action. She thrives on attention and connection, and when she doesn’t get enough stimulation, she may find her own (sometimes a little destructive) ways to entertain herself. Keeping her mentally and physically engaged will be key to helping her shine. The good news? Summer is a social butterfly. She would do wonderfully in a home with other dogs, cats, and kids. She’s looking for a family that will embrace her playful spirit, spoil her a little (okay, a lot), and give her the love and structure she needs to thrive. If you’re ready for a fun-loving, affectionate, and slightly mischievous companion, Summer might just be your perfect match. Her adoption fee is $295 and she's spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. Apply to meet this sweet Beagle today. 🐶💛

Story
Meet Sahara — the perfect mix of calm, curiosity, and adventure. At 3 years old, she’s settled nicely past the puppy stage but still has plenty of spark and enthusiasm for life. She brings a mellow, easygoing energy into the home while staying curious about the world around her. True to her beagle nature, Sahara loves to be on the move. Whether it’s a long walk, a run, or just spending time outdoors, she’s happiest when she can explore alongside her people. She’s a social girl who enjoys being around others and would thrive in an active home where she can be part of the daily routine. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who’s just as happy relaxing as she is heading out on an adventure, Sahara might be your perfect match.

Story
Say hello to Calvin! Mr. Calvin here might be the Calvin to your Hobbes, he's so sweet! Calvin was given up by his finder to our rescue recently but he's in good hands. He instantly warmed up and got along with everyone here as soon as we got him. Calvin is a Beagle mix, he's a bit of a bigger boy with his stubby legs- kind of like a super solid beagle but isn't short. Calvin loves getting attention, he'll bump you with his head so you notice and pay attention to him! He'll need a bit of leash work but is very eager to get to work! That is what people notice most about Calvin, is his eagerness. He will need slow introductions to other people and animals as he can warm up to others slowly sometimes. Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

Story
Mizuki 1 year, spayed female, 16 lbs Beagle mix LIKES: Being outside, belly rubs and snuggles (when she trusts you), chewing, toys, playing with her foster sister, eating buzzing insects, treats DISLIKES: Loud noises, being left alone PERSONALITY TRAITS: Mizuki is slow to warm at first and needs lots of time and patience to feel safe in new spaces/with new people/new pets. Once comfortable, she’s a lovable little goofball! SUPER SMART (learned to sit just by watching foster sister), very sweet and cuddly, and wants constant attention. Does wonderfully with other small dogs, cats, and chickens. Loves to play with toys and has had a fun time with her foster parent’s toy basket. Has a decent amount of separation anxiety and would do best with a family who is home more frequently (or can take her with!) POTTY TRAINING STATUS: Potty trained! She has a doggy door in her foster house that she uses regularly to go in and out. CRATE TRAINING STATUS: Likes to sleep in crate with door open, but does not like being locked up. Should not be left alone with anything she can stress chew. ADDITIONAL INFO: As an adolescent dog, Mizuki is still very fond of chew toys/treats to stay busy. She is learning the leash but getting more comfortable with walks at her foster home, but will need a fenced yard. She went on a long car ride and weekend getaway with her foster family and did well with the car and new environment. She would likely do best in a home with another dog that she can follow and take her cues from. To further inquire about MIZUKI, submit an application. Tell us about yourself, family, other pets, and how MIZUKI will mesh with your lifestyle. Qualifying applicants will be contacted by our Adoption Coordinator with next steps and an opportunity to set up a Meet & Greet. Our process is NOT a “first come, first served” process. (We DO NOT hold pets for later consideration.) Our team carefully reviews and interviews applicants for the best possible fit for each adoptable pet, and potential family. Submitting an application does not guarantee a call or response from our rescue. Our volunteers will screen the applications and reach out if it is determined to be a good fit. We look forward to facilitating a positive and solid adoption for MIZUKI as well as her future family. *Fostered in Eugene/Springfield, OR ADOPTION APP: https://wigglytails.org/adoption-application/ ##2681913##
