Moose is a kind, compassionate and friendly dog. I have a 5 year old son who he adores. He is intelligent and easily trained. It is heart breaking to separate him from our family but I’m not home enough to give him the love and care he needs due to my employer. He is a great dog and an even better friend.

Meet our wonderful girl! She is an active, affectionate, and well-behaved dog who loves spending time outdoors, going on adventures, cuddling with her family, eating her favorite treats, and, of course, taking long naps. She has a sweet, loving personality and brings so much joy to everyone she meets. We are relocating out of state and then internationally, and unfortunately it will not be possible for us to keep her. This has been a very difficult decision, and we are committed to finding the perfect forever home for her. She would thrive with a family that has the time to give her plenty of love, attention, and exercise. She would especially enjoy a home with other friendly dogs to play and socialize with. Our biggest hope is to find someone who will love and care for her as much as we do.

“Everyone says they want an easy dog.” Meet Marley If you’re looking for an easy dog… the kind who simply wants to be by your side… Marley may be the one you’ve been waiting for. Some dogs need constant adventure. Marley just wants someone to love. At around 7–9 years old, Marley has outgrown the puppy chaos and settled into the perfect companion. He’s happy to go for a short stroll, relax by your feet while you watch TV, ride along on errands, or simply enjoy being wherever you are. He’s the kind of dog who makes a house feel like home. Marley absolutely adores people. He has never met a stranger and greets everyone like an old friend. If you’re looking for a loyal best friend who will love you with his whole heart, Marley checks every box. When Marley came to Distinguished Dobermans Rescue, he needed some help. We discovered he has hypothyroidism, and once he started medication, everything began to change. He’s feeling better, has already started losing weight, and is thriving. He’ll need to stay on inexpensive thyroid medication and have routine veterinary monitoring, but it’s a simple part of his care—and one that allows him to enjoy a happy, healthy life. Marley gets along with some dogs, although a meet-and-greet is required, and he wouldn’t be the best match for another dominant dog. What breaks our hearts is that Marley keeps getting overlooked. Maybe it’s because he’s no longer a puppy. Maybe it’s because people assume an older dog comes with challenges. Maybe it’s because of his weight - so sad! But the truth is… Marley is one of the easiest, sweetest dogs you’ll ever meet. He isn’t looking for perfection. He isn’t asking for much. Just a soft bed, a loving family, and a promise that this home will be forever. If you’ve been searching for a faithful companion instead of a project, Marley is waiting to meet you. Meet Rocco 🐾 he is a cuddle bug that just wants someone to love!His favorite things are breakfast, his toys, exploring outside, and his crate. He goes for walks like a proper gentleman should, and never pulls. When he is tired, he will walk right into his crate before you even get tonsay bedtime🌙.Rocco does better with tough chew toys. He will shred any soft toys. We have not found him to chew anything he shouldn't. Although there was a bag of goldfish crackers once, but who can blame him?Rocco likes to play with our female dogs, but would probably prefer to be the only king in your castle. He does ok with the cats, but they are not his biggest fans. Rocco needs a new family to love through no fault of his own. He would be the right person's best friend!
