Story
Grover is an 8 year old beagle pug mix weighing about #50. He came to Angels for Animals in 2019, adopted and returned in Feb 2025 due to a bad skin infection that has been taken treated. He will continue to need medicated baths to keep his skin nice and healthy. The better quality his diet, the less skin problems.Grover is a sweet boy with some pep still in his step! He loves to go on walks, rides well in the car, seems to get along with other dogs, cats unknown! He settles down nicely and like to sit with you on his bed.If you are interested in meeting Grover, please fill out an application from our website angelsforanimals.org Once received, we will contact you to make an appointment.

Story
Charlie is a mix of Beagle, and Im told ,Jack Russel terrier. He is full of energy and needs an active human. He loves his squeaky toys and plays fetch mostly with his pink hippo toy. I bought Charlie from a private seller on FB. Charlie is a very intelligent dog( I am not a good trainer 😞. Charlie traveled well, .Charlie has all shots . He knows commands sit, stop, drop it, stay, wait, and he is crate trained, while I work. He loves the parks . He needs a strong human to continue training. He is half house broken, meaning he goes out on leash and uses bathroom, but he doesn't alert to go out. He does like to chew things, but never wood or my furniture.., He loves his treats and will sit for them. He is used to being on my furniture and bed. My house is his house too. He loves to sleep under the covers.Charlie does need a vet visit, as he makes sound as if pulling on leash and choking.. I cant afford to get him checked out. Charlie is approx 28 lbs.. Born Oct.8th 2024.

Story
Jolene is a lovable, smart family dog. She is fantastic with children, was born into a family of youngins, toddler through teens, 5 of them. She is clever, and loves to explore and run free. Our other dogs are trained off leash, she will come back, when she feels. We make sure to be mindful when receiving packages or guests, for Jolene is keen on opportunities to be free. She would be happy in a home with children and other pets, though she does like her one on one attention. She has a good nose, and a desire to please.

Mirko – 8 Week Old Beagle Mix PuppyMeet Mirko, an adorable 8-week-old Beagle mix with a big personality packed into a tiny body! This sweet little girl is playful, curious, and always ready for her next adventure. Like most Beagle mixes, Mirko loves to explore the world around her with her nose and enjoys playtime, toys, and attention from her people. Her outgoing personality makes her a fun companion who is sure to keep you smiling.Mirko is still very much a baby, which means she’s just beginning to learn about the world. She will need a family who is patient and committed to helping her grow into a well-mannered adult dog. Puppies require time, training, and consistency. House training, basic obedience, socialization with people and other animals, and lots of positive experiences will be important parts of her development.Mirko will be spayed prior to adoption and will need continued routine veterinary care as she grows. As she matures, she will benefit from daily exercise, mental stimulation, and plenty of opportunities to sniff and explore—especially since Beagles and Beagle mixes are known for their intelligence and curious noses.Bringing home a puppy is a long-term commitment that can last 12–15 years or more, but for the right family, the rewards are endless. If you’re ready for the energy, training, and joy that comes with raising a puppy, Mirko may be the perfect new addition to your home.Come meet this sweet girl and see if she’s the missing piece to your family!Few can resist a puppy. These adorable, soft bundles of energy are similar to four-legged children with tails. And like children, puppies need a lot of time, care, love, and patience. A puppy will depend on you for frequent and regular feedings and walks, for guidance and training, and for much of your time and your love. Before you plunge into puppy parenthood, make sure to research! There are many rewards to caring for a puppy, but there are also many requirements. Puppy classes are highly recommended for socialization and a positive transition into your home. Puppies love to learn how to be the best dog for your family! If this dog has been successful in our play groups it is not a guarantee that a dog will be social with other dogs in their home or in public settings. Dogs are individuals and have personality conflicts, just like us. Play groups do not guarantee that territorial or resource guarding issues will not surface in the

Story
Meet Bilbo! Bilbo is a sweet little adventurer who recently arrived at the shelter as a stray. At about 5 years old, this handsome beagle mix is still getting used to the hustle and bustle of shelter life. It can be a little scary at first, but every day Bilbo is showing us more of his gentle, loving personality. Once he feels comfortable, Bilbo is a total cuddle bug. He absolutely loves getting pets and will happily soak up all the attention you’re willing to give. If you sit down with him, don’t be surprised if he scoots in close—snuggles are one of his favorite things! Being part beagle, Bilbo also has a classic beagle whine he likes to use to chat with his people. It’s his adorable way of saying hello or asking for a little extra love.Bilbo has participated in dog playgroup and has done well so far. However, he would still like to meet any potential dog siblings before heading home, just to make sure everyone is a good match.Right now, Bilbo is simply looking for a safe place where he can keep building his confidence and share all the cuddles he has to give. If you’re looking for a sweet companion with a soft heart and a little beagle charm, Bilbo might be your guy.If this dog has been successful in our play groups it is not a guarantee that a dog will be social with other dogs in their home or in public settings.
