Story
Meet Winston your loyal, food-loving home buddy. If you're looking for a loyal companion who loves quiet company, cozy naps, and casual strolls Winston might just be your perfect match. He’ll follow you around, talk to you when he wants something, and gently nudge your hand for attention. He’s independent and prefers affection on his terms, but he loves sleeping in bed, relaxing beside you or a comfy spot to watch the world go by. He needs a calm, patient home with someone who’s around often. He’s sensitive to loud voices or being cornered, positive, gentle handling works best. He can get nervous with strangers and other dogs, but settles with time and space. He’s very food-motivated (and a scavenger!), so a tidy home is important. He’s house-trained, sleeps through the night, enjoys daily walks, toys and treats. He’s not suited for kids or heavy travel, car rides stress him out. He’s a sweet, quirky guy who thrives in a peaceful home with someone who appreciates his unique personality.

Application Link: https://www.shelterluv.com/embed/animal/ARH-A-209 Adoption fee is $445 All dogs are fixed, up-to-date on age appropriate shots and micro-chipped. Seal is one of 6 surviving puppies from an oops litter that was surrendered to the shelter at 2 weeks of age without mom. We are guessing at the breed combo. I think they could be as many as 8 different breeds in these little babies. They are all sweet, friendly and adorable! We expect him to stay under 20 lbs. His estimated birthday is early October.

Story
Ace (and his brother, Milo) are looking for forever homes having been surrendered after the death of their owner. Ace and Milo are currently residing at the Long Run Pet Hospital in Wheeling, WV.  Ace and Milo are 2-years old and are beagle/bulldog mixes, known as "Beabulls." The breed is known as active, playful and great companions and family dogs for active households. They are the quintessential beagle mix with happy personalities and attentive tails showing enthusiasm. Both dogs are very energetic, curious and do well on a leash. The love attention and return it with big smiles.  Ace is a sturdy boys that would make a great companion for someone or a family that will commit to not only giving him lots of playtime but also loves to snuggle and go for long walks for "all the sniffs!" He will benefit from  basic obedience classes to teach him good manners. He should do well with a dog of his size and playstyle but is far too energetic for cats and toddlers. Old, dog-savvy children may very well enjoy this beautiful boy as a snuggle buddy. Ace's soft, floppy ears and doggy smile are guaranteed to bring joy and laughter into your life. Story
Daisy’s Christmas Dream: A Patient Heart & a Forever Home  Daisy’s Christmas dream is to finally feel safe, loved, and understood in a home of her own. This 5 1/2 month-old, 20lb Beagle mix puppy is a gentle, sweet soul who may be shy at first, but she has so much love to give once she feels comfortable. While new people, especially men can be scary for her initially, Daisy blossoms with time and trust. When she bonds with you, she becomes a true velcro dog, happiest curled up beside you or following you from room to room. Her affectionate nature really shines once she knows she’s safe. Daisy adores other dogs and gains so much confidence from them. She must have a friendly, confident dog in her forever home to help her continue coming out of her shell. She would do best with a female adopter, a calm household, and no young children. She is crate trained, working hard on potty training (still has occasional accidents), and already knows some basic commands. Daisy is eager to learn and will thrive with an adopter who is patient and committed to continuing her training. She also needs someone home more often, as she is actively working through mild separation anxiety and does best with routine and reassurance. Like any puppy, she benefits from chew toys, enrichment, and routine. Daisy is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and ready to start her next chapter. Beneath her timid exterior is a loving, loyal puppy just waiting for the right person to believe in her. If you think you could be Daisy’s Christmas miracle, please apply atwww.pawsacrosspittsburgh.com/adopt Paws Across Pittsburgh KL#16182 ##2585578##
