He’s currently heartworm positive and undergoing treatment — but don't let that worry you, because Jessie’s real superpower is his chill personality. At first, Jessie might look like he’ll drag you down the street… but surprise! He’s actually a slow-moving sweetheart who just wants to be close to his person. Take him on a walk too fast and he’ll let you know — by sitting down and giving you the “we’re not doing that” look. Once you match his pace (think snail speed 🐌), he’s happy to continue. 🐾 Dog friendly 🐾 Loves the play yard with other dogs 🐾 Walks great on a leash 🐾 Super chill, cuddly, and easy to handle 🐾 Couch potato alert: this boy is made for snuggling! Jessie’s just looking for a comfy spot to call his own and a human who loves slow walks and long naps as much as he does. Dear Future Family, When you walk up to my kennel, I can’t help myself – I get so excited because I love people, and I just know if you give me a chance, you’ll see how special I am. My name is Jessie. I’m a 4-year-old Beagle mix with a gentle heart and an easy-going nature. I’ve been to the shelter twice in my life, and both times I was saved from euthanasia. I don’t want to go through that again… I just want a family who will love me forever. I’m dog-friendly, microchipped, fully vaccinated, and I’ve completed my heartworm treatments. I’m also low energy, happy to go for a walk or explore the yard, but just as happy to curl up beside you. My friends say I have a wonderful temperament and would make the perfect family dog. The best part? I can be adopted out of state and even to Canadian adopters, so no matter where you live, we could still find our way to each other. Hazel is a 4-month-old mixed-breed pup (around 20–30 lbs) who’s sweet, sensitive, and full of quiet charm. She’s fully vaccinated, microchipped, crate trained, potty trained, walks well on a leash — and she’s a calm, well-behaved passenger in the car, too! Hazel has a naturally shy and cautious personality, especially in new environments or around new people. She's not the kind of dog who will instantly run up for pets — but with time, patience, and gentle reassurance, she blossoms into a playful, affectionate, and deeply loyal companion. Once Hazel feels safe, she’ll stay close, happily following you around or curling up nearby. She has a few endearing quirks — she loves watching TV with total focus and even displays some cat-like behavior, like climbing to high spots to observe her world. She’s great with other dogs and cats and would do best in a calm, stable home where her people understand that she may take time to adjust.
