Tracker is a 40-lb male Beagle/Foxhound mix with a huge heart and an even bigger love for people. He’s an affectionate, happy dog who absolutely thrives on human attention. Tracker loves to play, run, and explore, so he would do best with an active owner and a home with a large yard and a secure wooden fence. While people are his favorite, he gets along great with other dogs and enjoys playtime with canine friends. Tracker has quite a story — he was hit by a car and nearly lost his life, but he made an incredible recovery. Now he’s fully healed and ready to start the next chapter of his life with a loving family. Gary is a beagle mix puppy who's learning all the joys of being a family dog. He's doing great with potty training and will let you know when he needs a break. He's still getting used to his crate but he settles with routine. He loves other dogs and currently enjoys playing with two frenchies in his foster home. A home with another playful pup would be a big plus for him. He hasn't met cats. Gary also does well with a 1 year old child in the home and has shown no aggression--just normal puppy nibbles. Like any young pup, he's in his chewing phase and still figuring out toys, but he's curious and learning quickly. He's also working on leash skills and gaining confidence with each walk. Once he bonds with you he becomes incredibly loyal and affectionate. He's a gentle, playful puppy looking for a loving home to help him continue growing into the wonderful dog he's meant to be. The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $300.00 and that includes their vaccinations, spay or neuter, rabies and microchip. Snickers Bar is looking for a foster home to relax and recover in while they are receiving medical treatment. Reason for Foster: Heartworm Positive + URIFoster Time Frame: 2-3 months(The foster time frame may be longer depending on future rechecks and medical needs.) Foster Care Plan: Snickers Bar is heartworm positive. They will go to foster with medication to prepare for their upcoming heartworm treatment on 8/25. During heartworm treatment, it is essential to keep them as calm as possible and avoid activities that may increase their heart rate. A medical consultation will be provided at your pickup appointment to ensure you are prepared to take great care of this sweet pup. Snickers Bar is being treated for an upper respiratory infection, which is similar to a common cold. While recovering, they may have symptoms such as sneezing, congestion, and nasal/eye discharge. Because URI can be contagious to other dogs, we recommend keeping them separated from resident dogs until they have fully recovered.
