Estimated to have been born around January 3, 2021, she has already overcome a battle with heartworms and was successfully treated. Mrs. Puff was briefly adopted, only to be returned through no fault of her own when a new "fluffy" canine housemate didn't warm up to her. She has lots of love to give and absolutely loves to play in the play yard. Mrs. Puff tends to favor women and would do great as an only dog or in a home with just one other canine companion. Her adoption fee is $250. Meet Myers! Myers is a beautiful 3-year-old, 35 lb Beagle mix who came to us from an overcrowded shelter in CA where she needed up there after her owner sadly passed away. She’s known the comfort of a real home before, and you can feel how much she misses being someone’s companion. She is sweet, loyal, and truly just wants to be somebody’s something again. In the kennel environment, Myers is understandably shut down and shy. It’s a big, confusing change for her. But outside the bustle of the shelter, her sweet personality begins to shine. She loves going on walks with her person, is very treat-motivated, and has done well with other dogs. Once she’s in a calm, loving home, we believe she’ll settle back into a routine just fine. Myers is still skittish with new environments, so she’s looking for adopters who understand shy dogs and can offer her patience, predictability, and gentle reassurance. She would do best in a home without young children, where things are steady and peaceful. We are looking for a standalone home for her outside of the city in a quiet neighborhood with a securely fenced yard. She’s a gorgeous brindle girl with soft brown eyes, a big heart, and a love for curling up in her dog bed or snuggling on the couch. Daisy is the sweetest elderly little weagle you can imagine. She is very nervous around other dogs and needs to go to a Home where she is the only dog but gets along fine with cats. She came to our pack because my grandma passed and she just doesnt get the love and attention she deserves. She has arthritus and takes a daily medicine (Rovera) that costs about $70/mo. She sheds if she isnt brushed daily. She can go for short walks and can go upstairs. She loves to meander in the yard when its warm. She mostly sleeps all day. She needs a quiet home to live out the last couple years of her life. Incredibly sweet.
