NOTE: COCHISE IS WITH THE RESCUE GROUP TRACY PEOPLE FOR PETS AND GSRSV HAS NOT MET HIM. WE ARE LISTING HIM WITH OUR OTHER ADOPTABLE DOGS ON THIS WEBSITE TO GIVE HIM MORE ADOPTION EXPOSURE. "Cochise" is an approx 1-yo neutered male Belgian Malinois who is smart, friendly and playful. He is healthy, UTD on vaccinations and microchipped. Cochise is a little bit shy at first when meeting new people but warms up quickly and then loves to stay by your side. He loves to be petted and enjoys leaning on people. Cochise is a quick learner and takes treats very gently. He may have had an abusive past so someone gentle & understanding is his preferred type of person. Cochise is house-trained and crate-trained, but He would benefit from some basic obedience training and an experienced handler. Cochise’s adoption fee is $350. If you are interested in meeting Cochise go to the Tracy People for Pets website to fill out an adoption application. Then, return it to inquiries@peopleforpets.com.

Adoption Fee:  $300.00 This is Alannah! Alannah is a Belgian Malinois approximately a year old and weighs 62 pounds. Like most Malinois Alannah is fun, smart, and very athletic. She is a capable learner and does it quickly.  Being with a very active person or family is a must for her. Someone that that likes to run, hike, swim or agility train would make Alannah a good partner. She makes great eye contact with her person and is always interested in what we’re going to do next.  Alannah enjoys snuggling with her person. She lives with 3 over dogs and enjoys playing with them. She has a playful but somewhat rough and tumble play style but has learned to tone it down a bit and takes correction well. Alannah enjoys going for car rides and rides well in the car. She is crate trained and sleeps quietly in her crate at night. Whatever you want to do Alannah is up for it. She is a great dog and will make someone very happy they brought her into their life. Cats and small critters unknown. Story
Carlisle is in desperate need of a foster or adopter ASAP! Miracle dog and Stanislaus Survivor Carlisle is ready to be adopted. Carlisle sat in the shelter for over 2 weeks with no one willing to help him because his injury was pretty severe and expensive to fix. He fractured his L7 vertebrae. We think he is about 2 years old. We found the most skilled Neurosurgeon at VCA Referral Center and found a medical donor willing to take a chance on the surgery. There was no guarantee it would work, but Carlisle had such a will to live, we knew had to try. The Surgeon did not give up either and he decided to make it happen. So we pulled the boy and off he went to VCA for a $12,000 plus surgery. Carlisle has made a full and complete recovery! It is a true miracle. He has been in two foster homes and his current foster home can only keep him until the end of May. He should be an only dog for now. He is still intact, but his neuter will be done while in foster care, if adopted ( foster to adopt) or as soon as we can get him in for the surgery. Carlisle is great with kids and people. He is good on leash. He is not the best with other animals, seems to have a prey drive, so no small dogs or cats or farm animals. Female dogs his size or larger should be fine, but we will demand slow intros. He is so deserving of a home and we need a foster or an adopter for him ASAP! Interested in meeting Carlisle? Let us know! *Call or text 833-473-7364 or *Send an email to sacrdroperations@gmail.com (including your phone number) or *Message us on social media @resilientdogrescue or *Inquire using the Adopt a Petfinder system - be sure to include your phone number We look forward to hearing from you! Our adoption application will need to be completed and submitted. It can be found here: https://bit.ly/sacrdr-adoptionapp You can follow Carlisle on FB, Insta and TikTok using #sacrdrcarlisle
