Story
*Courtesy post - if interested in this pet please contact the owner Anthony at anthonysegoviano27@gmail.com*  Rey is a sweet girl looking for her forever family. Rey is about 1 year old and full of love. Rey is a Belgian Malinois and would do best in a home familiar with the breed. She loves everyone she meets, though she can sometimes have a hard time containing her excitement! Rey has been around other dogs and did ok with them. We are not sure about cats but feel she could be fine. She is mostly housetrained though does have the occasional accident if we wait too long between taking her out.  *Courtesy post - if interested in this pet please contact the owner Anthony at anthonysegoviano27@gmail.com*      All animals are up-to-date on vaccinations (including rabies if over 4 months old), microchipped, and spayed or neutered. All dogs have been been vaccinated with DHPP and Bordatella (kennel cough) and heartworm tested negative (if over 6 months).    All cats have been vaccinated with FVRCP and current on flea control. Adoption Fee:  $100.00 Sasha is a female Belgian Malinois that is approximately 10 years old.  She came to us when her elderly owner passed away.  She was an outdoor only dog for the last half of her life. Everything inside her foster’s home was new to her. She has very quickly learned about the creature comforts of being indoors, surrounded by people, and what treats are. Sasha sleeps in a crate at night, and has learned to use the doggie door to go outside and is housebroken.  She is fostered in a home with two other female dogs, and does well with them.  There are also grandchildren who regularly visit and she does well with them.  She loves to give hugs to everyone. She knows basic commands like sit, lay down, and she is working on wait/stay.  Sasha is looking for a home who will help her explore the new world and continue training. No cats or small critters. Story
NOTE: MAGGIE IS WITH THE COUPLE WHO FOUND HER AND TOOK HER TO THEIR HOME IN DURHAM, CA (NEAR CHICO). GSRSV HAS NOT MET MAGGIE. WE ARE LISTING MAGGIE FOR ADOPTION ON THIS WEBSITE ALONG WITH OUR OWN DOGS TO GIVER HER MORE ADOPTION EXPOSURE. PLEASE SEE END OF THIS PROFILE FOR CONTACT INFO. "Maggie" is a button-cute, approx 6-mos old female Belgian Malinois mix pup in urgent need of another foster or permanent home. Maggie showed up at a construction site near Chico on 5-17-25, and one of the workers took her home. The worker and his wife (Jennifer) had the pup scanned for a chip, but she does not have one. The couple have been keeping Maggie at their house, but they already have one dog and their landlord--who lives next door--will not allow them to keep a second dog. The landlord has given the couple until Sunday, June 1, to relocate Maggie. Here's whAt Jennifer has to say about Maggie: "She is a sweet girl who is eager to learn. She was not house broken at all when we picked her up but only has a few accidents now. Doing great in a kennel over night. She loves being close and cuddling and is a love bug. She is learning to sit. She is great with new people. She had not met my oldest son before but I had to leave Saturday to help my middle son move from San Jose and she had no aggression to him coming in to the house with his dog and girlfriend. All three dogs [including her Pit Bull] played great all day with no issues." Maggie is located in Durham, just south of Chico. If you can foster Maggie for Jennifer and her husband, or if you're interested in adopting Maggie, please contact Jennifer Gomez at 530-415-2947 or jen.whirlpartners@gmail.com.
