Story
Meet Momo!Momo is a sweet and gentle girl who loves getting out for walks with her favorite human. She enjoys strolling right by your side and will occasionally give a little nudge to ask for some affection. While she may be a bit shy at first, it doesn’t take long for her loving personality to shine through once she feels safe and comfortable.Momo would do best with an adopter who is patient and kind, and who is willing to help her continue building confidence at her own pace. She has recently met other social dogs at the shelter and did just fine. While she wasn’t quite ready to jump into play yet, we’re hopeful that with more positive experiences in playgroups, she’ll soon be showing off her playful, silly side.If you’re looking for a companion for your current dog, we welcome you to bring them in for a meet and greet to see if it’s a match! Momo is ready for a loving home where she can keep growing, one walk and one cuddle at a time.Check out her playgroup video here:To meet me, visit the Bradshaw Animal Shelter Tuesday-Sunday, Noon - 5:00 pm, Wednesdays, Noon - 6:00 pm. Story
Pearl is a Malinois mix, estimated DOB is 8/1/25 and she currently weighs 19 lbs. She is very smart. She walks great on a leash and knows basic commands. She learns quickly and is fun to train. She loves to play with her toys and run through the water. She is crate trained and gets along with the dogs he currently lives with. She is friendly when meeting new people. Her ideal home would be one with room to run and play, so no apartments. She needs a person who understands the requirements of a puppy and has the time to continue her training. Pearl loves to be with her person, so she would love to find a home with a family that is committed to taking her on daily walks, have outside playtime, and that would include her in daily activities and other outings. She would do fine with respectful kids. Pearl is a wonderful puppy and will make a great companion for the right family! Please email right away if you would like to learn more about this dog......and visit our website www.siarescuers.org to learn more about our rescue group. Adoption fees range from $350-$475 for dogs. THE DOGS SHOWN ON THE SITE ARE IN FOSTERCARE - WE DO NOT HAVE A SHELTER TO VISIT. EMAIL is the best way to reach us. We are a volunteer run, very small organization - so please be patient when waiting for a response, but feel free to check back in if you haven't heard from us in a day or so - thank you so much for considering a rescued pooch!

Story
Tess is 14 mos old. Has high energy, high stimulation need and needs regular exercise. She currently attends day camp and loves the staff and her pup friends. She barks at any noise whether loud or not. Has had a hard time adapting to my adult children being here for holidays. Barks at them, even though they are friendly with her. They walk her, play and give her treats. I don’t feel like I can give her the life she deserves.

These pups are in Rancho Cordova, California too!

Story
We fostered Martok shortly before adopting him two years ago. We adopted him as a puppy and put in well over $4,000 in training for him. He is a lovely dog that needs a family that can cuddle and give him a good amount of playtime. He is medium energy, loves walks in our quiet suburban neighborhood and is always looking to his handlers for validation and play. He was born May 1st 2023, and was adopted as a 12 week old Puppy at Front Street Animal Shelter in Sacramento. Martok was raised around a house cat, and has no issues and shows no interest with even outdoor cats or his previous cat-roommate. Martok has been around other dogs in daycare/bath and for walks and shows little to no interest outside of saying -hello- with his tail wags. He knows a plethora of commands due to his training including: sit, place, heel, touch (nose), shake, and is trained to use a metal bell by the door to signal he needs to go outside by bopping it with his nose.

Story
I bought him for $300 from a Russian family in July; he's only six months old... I just want him to be very well cared for, I think they'll do a better job than me, and that they'll cherish him. I'm giving him away because I can't keep him anymore. I live in an apartment, and the landlord found out I had him (I used to hide him when the landlord came), but one day I wasn't home, and the landlord came for the rent, and my family forgot to hide him, so the landlord found out and only gave us a few days to get rid of him or he would evict us. :(😔🥹
