Meet Maxi! Maxi is a 9 year old malinois mix that weighs about 60 pounds. Maxi is a queen of fetch! She sits and lays for balls, waiting with patience for you to throw them. Maxi is also a fan of treats. She makes friends everywhere she goes and is always excited to see new people.  When meeting other dogs, she tends to be indifferent to them and prefers to hang out with the people.  Interested in adopting? Adoption Fee:  $300.00 This is Alannah! Alannah is a Belgian Malinois approximately a year old and weighs 62 pounds. Like most Malinois Alannah is fun, smart, and very athletic. She is a capable learner and does it quickly.  Being with a very active person or family is a must for her. Someone that that likes to run, hike, swim or agility train would make Alannah a good partner. She makes great eye contact with her person and is always interested in what we’re going to do next.  Alannah enjoys snuggling with her person. She lives with 3 over dogs and enjoys playing with them. She has a playful but somewhat rough and tumble play style but has learned to tone it down a bit and takes correction well. Alannah enjoys going for car rides and rides well in the car. She is crate trained and sleeps quietly in her crate at night. Whatever you want to do Alannah is up for it. She is a great dog and will make someone very happy they brought her into their life. Cats and small critters unknown. Story
Meet Becky! This gorgeous 3-year old pup originally came to the shelter in April with two other dogs, and recently went to foster care for a brief time. She is in need of a loving, active and patient home who will give her some structure and work with her through a few challenges.Becky is a smart and remarkable girl, brimming with potential and an unwavering desire to please. From the moment she entered the family`s home, her boundless energy and affectionate nature captivated their hearts. She knows a few commands and is potty trained.Unfortunately, sweet Becky struggles with severe separation anxiety if left alone and will do anything to get to her people as soon as they walk away from her. Crate training is highly beneficial to help with separation anxiety; however, a standard metal crate was not strong enough for Becky and she found a way out of it, so a heavy-duty crate would be the way to go. On walks, Becky walks loosely on leash but can be reactive to other dogs; however, she will correct well verbally. Becky has participated in shelter playgroups before, but due to the stress of the shelter environment, she has become reactive to dogs at the shelter as well. She also would do best in a home without cats. Though the family had to part ways with Becky, the indelible mark she left on their hearts remained. With the right adopter committed to her wellbeing, she can blossom into a loyal and affectionate companion who will reward you with endless loyalty and unconditional love.To meet me, visit the Bradshaw Animal Shelter Tuesday-Sunday, Noon - 5:00 pm, Wednesdays, Noon - 6:00 pm. Hello, I`m Andy! I`m a friendly senior boy who gets along well on leash. I arrived at the shelter with my friend Anne (#861298). I have a lot of energy and love going for walks, as it`s a great way for me to burn off steam. In addition to walking, I also love the water and enjoy splashing around in the kiddie pools at the shelter.Andy has participated in shelter playgroups and may enjoy a compatible canine friend in his new home.  Looking for a buddy for your dog?  Bring him/her to the shelter for a meet and greet and see if we`re a match!  Check out his playgroup video here:To meet me, visit the Bradshaw Animal Shelter Tuesday-Sunday, Noon - 5:00 pm, Wednesdays, Noon - 6:00 pm. Story
On June 29, Anne participated in an event at a local golf course.  She was great getting in/out of car and rode quietly in back seat.  Anne performed beautifully and got along well with other dogs (large and small) as well as all people that stopped to give her pets.  She walks great on a leash and sat quietly next to her handler for a couple hours.  She may be a little shy at first but is showing to be very confident in new surroundings and affectionate with people. She also loves running around the shelter play yards and jumping in and out of the kiddie pools.  She arrived at the shelter with Andy (A861297). If you have a dog who is looking for a friend, bring it to the shelter for a meet and greet to see if they are a match.Anne recently met some social dogs in our shelter playgroups and did fine.  But she was pretty uncomfortable and didn`t want to participate much.  We hope as she gets more experience in our shelter playgroups she`ll be ready to show us her silly side with doggy friends.  Here`s a short video of her playgroup time:To meet me, visit the Bradshaw Animal Shelter Tuesday-Sunday, Noon - 5:00 pm, Wednesdays, Noon - 6:00 pm. Adoption Fee:  $100.00 Margo is an adorable 8 yo female Malinois weighing approximately 50 lbs.  Like many of our dogs, the story of her previous life is unknown except that she was once a mama to some pups.  Despite her age, this girl has a “I’ll go wherever you go” attitude, ready to jump into new experiences with youthful curiosity.  When Margo initially entered our program, she shared a home with 3 large Shepherds whom she immediately accepted as her new family.  Unfortunately, their resident cat was too enticing, and we quickly learned she would need to be in a home without felines.  She currently resides in a home with a large Malinois male (see Shadow) who seems to let her run the show. The two engage in play every now and then, but both seem to prefer human attention more than anything else.  Balls and Nyla bones are enjoyed peacefully, but Margo often will do her best to steal what’s his and make it hers.  She humbly relinquishes, however, to her human referee without one ounce of protest.   In the home, the two fosters spend much of the day lounging on dog beds with frequent Pet-Stops for calm affection.  She is not intrusive, but she knows how to warm her way into your busy schedule for affection and belly rubs.  This gal has an unusual attraction to fabric and “linens” and will quietly cut patterns out like she’s creating a snowflake.  Supervision is necessary to quickly substitute a more appropriate chew toy.  Margo also has a unique talent to catch houseflies.  In fact, she’s quicker than a hand-held zapper for those in her reach! Margo is accustomed to waiting at home peacefully during long workdays with her co-foster.  When she reunites with her human, she exuberantly vocalizes her joy while doing her best to make physical contact with you. True to her Malinois traits, this may include ‘vertical clatters’ which can sometimes come as a surprise.  Simple squirts from a water bottle or calm redirection are highly effective to limit this behavior until she regains her calm composure.  Because of this instinctive behavior, we feel she would do best in a home without young children.  Dog walks are a delight for Margo, where she has learned to ignore other dogs and distractions (well, except squirrels!).  She is physically agile and will jump into a vehicle for any adventure.  This gal is quick to learn and wants to please her people.  Margo is housebroken, uses a dog door, and sleeps quietly in her crate throughout the night.  She is a bundle of delight in a small delightful package.  No cats;  Small dogs unknown Level 2 Understanding Dog Levels Please be sure you understand what a dog of this Level requires. Story
Hello, we have had Sunnie since 3months old. She is very mature and smart. She loves to have some attention and then she can do her own thing. She loves walks and runs. She is still learning heel but knows over 8 commands. Sit, lay, roll over, play dead (by saying bang bang) come, leave it, drop it, and fetch. She has many very great qualities and needs a good backyard to play in. She tears up most beds unless it's very comfortable. We are possibly moving and have 2 other dogs as well. We don't have room for all 3 unfortunately. We love them all and want them all and have never done this before. We are conflicted about this, we feel it may be the best way for her happiness and are sad. But can answer any questions you have.

Story
Raith is very chill for a husky German shepherd. He likes being near his person. He enjoys the company of other people and is very loving to children. He is well trained and loves to go on short walks where he can sniff and explore. Considerations: has separation anxiety if left alone during the first few days of being with you. Will need a little time to adjust. Despite being a husky mix, he is very quiet and calm.
