Story
Easy, sweet, and gentle, Levi is everything you are looking for in a dog. He's had a difficult time lately after being attacked by two off-leash dogs, which made him nervous around other dogs, including the dogs in his home, and is how he ended up at the shelter. He is so confused because he has always tried to be the good-est boy. He's so great on a walk, potty trained, and not reactive to turkeys, though interested in getting to know some squirrels. He knows how to sit and shake. Levi is a total sweetheart who loves everyone he meets. Please consider giving him a new safe space and come meet him!To make an appointment to meet Levi, please go to yoloshelter.org/adopt. All animals are up-to-date on vaccinations (including rabies if over 4 months old), microchipped, and spayed or neutered. All dogs have been been vaccinated with DHPP and Bordatella (kennel cough) and heartworm tested negative (if over 6 months).    All cats have been vaccinated with FVRCP and current on flea control. *Courtesy post - if interested in this pet please contact the owner Anthony at anthonysegoviano27@gmail.com*  Rey is a sweet girl looking for her forever family. Rey is about 1 year old and full of love. Rey is a Belgian Malinois and would do best in a home familiar with the breed. She loves everyone she meets, though she can sometimes have a hard time containing her excitement! Rey has been around other dogs and did ok with them. We are not sure about cats but feel she could be fine. She is mostly housetrained though does have the occasional accident if we wait too long between taking her out.  *Courtesy post - if interested in this pet please contact the owner Anthony at anthonysegoviano27@gmail.com*      All animals are up-to-date on vaccinations (including rabies if over 4 months old), microchipped, and spayed or neutered. Story
Roxy is a loving dog alway in need of a belly rub. She is also a very anxious dog and doesn’t do well around strangers. We are rehoming her due to living in apartments and her not being friendly to strangers. She is in need of a loving home where there is not too much stimuli. I’m sure she can be trained me and my daughter just don’t have the knowledge to do so. She would fit well into a home with someone who specializes in dogs if her breed and can train her to be less anxious.

Story
Roxy is a loving, loyal dog who has been part of our family for the past four years. She is very affectionate and especially enjoys belly rubs. Roxy has always been protective of our children and does well with people she is properly introduced to inside our home. She does experience anxiety around unfamiliar people, particularly outside of our home environment. We live in an apartment complex, and there was a recent incident involving a neighbor in which Roxy bit his arm, barely breaking the skin. Although the injury was minor, we take the situation seriously. Due to our living situation, we are unfortunately no longer able to keep her and must rehome her. We are seeking an experienced owner or trainer who understands anxious or reactive dogs and can provide the structure and training she needs. Roxy is house-trained, very intelligent, and well-behaved in the home. She has caused no damage to our apartment or property and is truly a good dog in the right environment.

Story
Marvin is a 2 year old Belgian Malinois. He is dog and people friendly. He has not been observed around cats. Marvin is high energy, playful, and affectionate. He loves toys, walks, playing, and pets. Belgian Malinois are a working breed and require physical and mental stimulation to thrive. Marvin and his sister Molly were found together as strays in Modesto and set to be euthanized at the local shelter due to overpopulation. We pulled them both and placed them in a foster home together. They love playing with each other, but they do rile each other up. They can be adopted separately. If adopted together, their adopter needs breed experience. Marvin is doing well in foster. Molly had to be placed in boarding for going after the foster’s small dog.
We'll also keep you updated on Molly's adoption status with email updates.

Story
Molly is a two year old female Belgian malnois. She cannot be around small animals. She is good with other large dogs. She is jumpy, so I do not recommend her to someone with young kids. Molly is playful and friendly. She is high energy. She loves to run and play. She likes pets and playing with her brother Marvin. Marvin and Molly were found as strays in Modesto and set to be put down at a high kill shelter due to overpopulation. Our rescue pulled them both. Marvin is thriving in his foster home. Molly was in the home with him and was doing well until she bit the foster’s small dog. So she cannot be around small animals and is now in boarding until she can find another foster or adopted. Could you be this girl’s hero?

These pups are in Woodland, California too!
