Story
*Courtesy post - if interested in this pet please contact the owner Anthony at anthonysegoviano27@gmail.com*  Rey is a sweet girl looking for her forever family. Rey is about 1 year old and full of love. Rey is a Belgian Malinois and would do best in a home familiar with the breed. She loves everyone she meets, though she can sometimes have a hard time containing her excitement! Rey has been around other dogs and did ok with them. We are not sure about cats but feel she could be fine. She is mostly housetrained though does have the occasional accident if we wait too long between taking her out.  *Courtesy post - if interested in this pet please contact the owner Anthony at anthonysegoviano27@gmail.com*      All animals are up-to-date on vaccinations (including rabies if over 4 months old), microchipped, and spayed or neutered. Story
**COURTESY POST****THIS IS A COURTESY POST, THE DOG IS NOT AT THE SHELTER, IF YOU ARE INTERESTED PLEASE REACH OUT TO NERCY at nercybasulto@gmail.com** Freya is an incredibly sweet and special girl, and we are hopeful that the next family who welcomes her into their home will appreciate all the wonderful qualities she possesses. She is a well-trained companion who excels in following commands with grace and obedience. Freya responds promptly to cues such as 'off' to drop items gently, 'down' before meals, and 'free' for outdoor adventures. Her ability to stay in place until given the signal to move shows her patience and eagerness to please. She is also crate, potty trained, loose leash walking, able to heal and come on command. With over $4k invested in her training, Freya has become a well-behaved and attentive companion who is eager to learn and engage with her new family. She thrives on positive reinforcement, enjoys water play, and delights in receiving affection. Her energy and enthusiasm are a testament to her youth and breed, making her an ideal match for an owner who can provide ample exercise and playtime. While she may do best as the only pet in the household to receive the attention she deserves, Freya's potential shines brightest in a loving and dedicated home environment. Her training with Hardline K9 has equipped her with the skills to adapt and flourish in a new setting. If you have any questions about her training or care, please feel free to reach out to her trainers at Hardline K9. Freya is a gem waiting to bring joy and companionship to her forever family. All animals are up-to-date on vaccinations (including rabies if over 4 months old), microchipped, and spayed or neutered. All dogs have been been vaccinated with DHPP and Bordatella (kennel cough) and heartworm tested negative (if over 6 months).    All cats have been vaccinated with FVRCP and current on flea control. She is a capable learner and does it quickly.  Being with a very active person or family is a must for her. Someone that that likes to run, hike, swim or agility train would make Alannah a good partner. She makes great eye contact with her person and is always interested in what we’re going to do next.  Alannah enjoys snuggling with her person. She lives with 3 over dogs and enjoys playing with them. She has a playful but somewhat rough and tumble play style but has learned to tone it down a bit and takes correction well. Alannah enjoys going for car rides and rides well in the car. She is crate trained and sleeps quietly in her crate at night. Whatever you want to do Alannah is up for it. She is a great dog and will make someone very happy they brought her into their life. Cats and small critters unknown. Story
Meet Becky! This gorgeous 3-year old pup originally came to the shelter in April with two other dogs, and recently went to foster care for a brief time. She is in need of a loving, active and patient home who will give her some structure and work with her through a few challenges.Becky is a smart and remarkable girl, brimming with potential and an unwavering desire to please. From the moment she entered the family`s home, her boundless energy and affectionate nature captivated their hearts. She knows a few commands and is potty trained.Unfortunately, sweet Becky struggles with severe separation anxiety if left alone and will do anything to get to her people as soon as they walk away from her. Crate training is highly beneficial to help with separation anxiety; however, a standard metal crate was not strong enough for Becky and she found a way out of it, so a heavy-duty crate would be the way to go. On walks, Becky walks loosely on leash but can be reactive to other dogs; however, she will correct well verbally. Becky has participated in shelter playgroups before, but due to the stress of the shelter environment, she has become reactive to dogs at the shelter as well. She also would do best in a home without cats. Though the family had to part ways with Becky, the indelible mark she left on their hearts remained. With the right adopter committed to her wellbeing, she can blossom into a loyal and affectionate companion who will reward you with endless loyalty and unconditional love.To meet me, visit the Bradshaw Animal Shelter Tuesday-Sunday, Noon - 5:00 pm, Wednesdays, Noon - 6:00 pm. All adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis. To help expedite the meet and greet process, please make note of my Animal ID number, and those of other dogs you might be interested in meeting. Be sure to bring your ID with you, too. We are located at 3839 Bradshaw Road, Sacramento. I look forward to getting to know you!

Story
Hello, I`m Andy! I`m a friendly senior boy who gets along well on leash. I arrived at the shelter with my friend Anne (#861298). I have a lot of energy and love going for walks, as it`s a great way for me to burn off steam. In addition to walking, I also love the water and enjoy splashing around in the kiddie pools at the shelter.Andy has participated in shelter playgroups and may enjoy a compatible canine friend in his new home.  Looking for a buddy for your dog?  Bring him/her to the shelter for a meet and greet and see if we`re a match!  Check out his playgroup video here:To meet me, visit the Bradshaw Animal Shelter Tuesday-Sunday, Noon - 5:00 pm, Wednesdays, Noon - 6:00 pm. (((READ ALL INFO BEFORE INQUIRING PLEASE))))) Steps needed to adopt Step 1) complete the application, the link is below https://form.jotform.com/81702264428152 Step 2) Thoroughly read any info about the dog. Review the rescues adoption procedures and process. Thoroughly research the breed. Please do not submit multiple emails or applications. We will contact you if we feel your home is a good fit. ALL dogs and cats in the rescue must be spayed/neutered in the rescue. Because puppies may be to young to undergo surgery, they are placed on our spay and neuter schedule. If they are adopted prior to their surgery date, the adopter must agree to either bring the dog back for their spay/neuter, or complete the alter at their own vet with a special contract in place and proof of the alter within a timeframe. If submitting an application for a puppy under 4 months, they might not yet be altered and are on the schedule. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- >>>>>>About the Dog
